Love this place. Highly recommend the noodle dishes, they have a wide variety of protein sources including vegetarian options. The yellow curry is okay, not like stellar but definitely not bad. The vibe inside is eclectic. The staff is very kind. Garlic-free options are available as well!

Golden Thai had been one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Brooklyn forever!! The portions are huge yet so affordable, especially for New York. The quality of food is on par- my personal favorites are their pad see ew, pineapple fried rice, red curry, beef pho, etc., and all of their apps and desserts are great. The ambiance is so cozy and intimate- I love the interior decorations. Really could not recommend this hole in the wall gem enough!! The staff is so kind and friendly as a plus :)

Small space inside but perfect for a smaller groups of 2-4. The food is delicious and the service was amazing as well. We ordered the wings, duck rolls, nam sod salad, drunken noodles and mango sticky rice. I would order them all again. Decent prices as well

Had the crispy duck salad and Penang curry. Both dishes were super flavorful. The atmosphere is very cozy as well. Great for any company. Also my phone was dead and the server was super kind and let me charge my phone. Overall highly recommend!!

I recently visited Golden Thai restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a nice balance between casual and stylish. The staff was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, which made the whole visit feel comfortable. The seafood noodle soup was comforting and flavorful, with a rich broth that carried a nice balance of spice and depth. The seafood tasted fresh, and the noodles were cooked just right, soaking up all the flavors. A hearty, satisfying dish I’d gladly order again. Overall, it’s a great spot whether you’re looking for a relaxed dinner with friends or a quick meal full of flavor. I’d definitely come back to try more dishes from their menu.

We had a wonderful meal here! The mango salad was so refreshing with just the right balance of sweet and tangy flavors, and the cashew nut tofu was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The owner is Thai and was very kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Everything was delicious and we left very satisfied. Highly recommend!

I've been a loyal customer of Golden Thai since they first opened, and it consistently delivers exceptional Thai cuisine in Brooklyn. What keeps me coming back is the authentic flavors and quality across their entire menu. My absolute favorite dish has to be their pineapple fried rice - it's simply outstanding. The rice has that perfect wok hei (breath of the wok) flavor, and the sweet chunks of fresh pineapple create this amazing balance with the savory elements. They don't skimp on the ingredients either - you'll find plenty of shrimp, cashews, and raisins mixed throughout, giving every bite different textures and flavors. The portions are great too. The tom yum soup is wonderfully aromatic with just the right amount of heat, and their onion soup is absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Whether you're craving something mild or want to test your spice tolerance, they nail the heat levels perfectly when you specify your preference. After being a customer since they first opened, I can confidently say Golden Thai maintains consistently high standards. It's become my go-to spot for reliable, delicious Thai food in the neighborhood. Highly recommended for both Thai food newcomers and longtime enthusiasts!

Finally! A Thai place that actually has flavors of Thai. There so many Thai places everywhere and yet it’s very hard to find one that has spice and full flavor. This place has it! Delicious fried rice and drunken noodle that is smothered in spices and seasonings. Definitely would recommend coming in or getting take out. It’s not a very large place so good to go in a small group, alone or just with another person. The server was very kind and our food came very quickly. Delicious! I will definitely be back.

TLDR: Very small space but BIG on flavors! Affordable and delicious food that tastes like home cooking! I can't wait to come back! Came here around 7:30pm on Saturday with my friend after a comedy show. They only have 3 tables. (There's another table by the door but I think they use it as a work desk?) The server was so sweet. The Thai iced tea was not too sweet! Perfect for my geriatric millennial Asian palette. 😂 We split 3 items. The beer braised crispy ribs with sriracha dipping sauce (4 pieces) was sticky and sweet. I was impressed their sriracha was the OG Thai version that's less spicy and more umami than the American version. I gauge Thai places on their drunken noodle. Got mine with pork and it was spicy and the noodles was impressively chewy! The pad prig khing with beef was spicy and delicious! My friend said she doesn't eat vegetables but she ate these! Both entrees were ordered medium spicy and I thought it was the right amount of heat. I have a pretty high spice tolerance though. If you can't handle spice, order the mild! Cute decor, prices are very affordable, flavors were very authentic, and portions were generous so great for sharing! Clean unisex bathroom in the back (they will need to unlock the door for you). Seems like this place is more popular for delivery rather than dine in. Looking forward to coming back here soon to try more dishes! ***UPDATE 2/18/24: Came back a second time with a different friend and we were very impressed with the food! We ordered vegetarian spring rolls, pad see ew with tofu (especially loved their tofu preparation!), and penang curry with pork (I would get it without pineapple next time and spicier). I guess my new goal in life is to try everything on their menu. See you soon! 😂

I ordered the “Pad Cashew Nuts” with chicken. Rarely any decent sized pieces of chicken. It also got delivered at the very last minute of the delivery time frame… I live three blocks away- I regret not going to pick it up. By the time I called inquiring about my order they said it had dispatched already…… food arrived cold and soggy.
