Stopped in with a friend to grab a quick bite. Unfortunately we were there too early as the kitchen doesn’t open until 5:00 p.m. but luckily that didn’t stop us for staying for some drinks. The atmosphere is comfy cozy with folks from all walks of life. You can actually have a conversation without yelling at the top of your lungs. Drinks were great and the service was beyond exceptional. Shout out to Tem, bartender/hostess with mostest. She was personable while remaining professional and super attentive with our drinks preferences while suggesting things for us to try and providing background on the bar itself. They have themed nights such as jazz and trivia. I’ll definitely be retuning to try them all out and I’ll provide more info then :0)

A Bushwick Gem: Double's Delivers on All Fronts! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Double's Bar Restaurant on Halsey Street in Bushwick is an absolute standout, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an inviting atmosphere that's both stylish and unpretentious – perfect for a casual drink, a delicious meal, or a fun night out with friends. Let's talk about the food. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a fantastic selection of dishes that are both creative and comforting. Every single thing I've tried has been exceptional, from their perfectly cooked burgers to their inventive small plates. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in every dish they send out. Portions are generous without being overwhelming, and the flavors are always on point. The drinks program is equally impressive. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast, a cocktail aficionado, or just looking for a well-made classic, Double's has you covered. The bartenders are skilled, friendly, and happy to offer recommendations. Their cocktails are truly something special – well-balanced and always a delight. Beyond the food and drinks, the service at Double's is consistently top-notch. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely seem to enjoy their work. They create a welcoming and comfortable environment that makes you want to linger. And the ambiance? It's just right. Love this new spot in the neighborhood. Been going super often for drinks and food, my favorites are the burger and chicken wings. Doublé beer is huge could barely hold it! Great atmosphere, rustic decor, outdoor seating and different events depending on the day but always busy and fun.

this is the best bar in the area for sure !! such a great atmosphere; It feels very very clean, nice music, cool lighting, and the people are so friendly.. the bartender Ben is super cool and always fun to talk to, but the entire staff is so welcoming and fun!! also, the food was really yummy! Im kinda obsessed with the filthy bird sandwich. definitely recommending this place to my friends :)

My friend Carmen was in NY for some business and had a couple days free. I visited from Florida and she told me about this place she loves going to after work and asked me to join her. Hands down one of the BEST places I have been to. The ambiance is very relaxed, great music, cute seating options, and almost like a very intimate local hang out vibe. We had nachos, the burger, french toast, and the crispy broccoli. Tarren (spelling) was very knowledgeable of the menu and made me this amazing margarita pictured above. I would recommend this place to everyone.

If you are in Bushwick check this place out. Elevated bar with some serious cocktails. I basically tried everything on the dinner menu with some friends. My recommendation are the John Daly Cocktail for a drink and the Chicken Tenders or Nachos. Bottom line this place slaps. I will be back!!

I threw an event here last Sunday April 27 th. Hanna the bartender is sooooo sweet. The first person that greets me and my guest with a genuine Brooklyn welcome, the food was so good. We did our event on Sunday so we enjoyed the brunch menu. The sound and audio and projector were also utilized and it’s a relief as a curator when all the things the venue offers actually works. I have had such a great experience and WILL be back. I don’t mind commuting from my end of Brooklyn here, because they spread love here and that’s the Brooklyn Way! At Doublè

Understand I’m not all exaggerating when it comes to Ben. He’s literally so charming and the man can prepare a drink! Okay? I Came in after Pilates on Friday afternoon and Ben (bar tender) was the breath of fresh air I needed after a long work week. You’re not gonna beat the conversation, vibes and libations provided by Ben at Doublé. Happy to make this an official weekly spot for me and it’s all because of Ben!! I haven’t gotten a chance to try out the food menu yet but I’ll be back next week for Ben’s energy and drinks for sure. Thanks, Ben!!!

Amazing food drinks music atmosphere and staff! But the FOOD! You wouldn’t think great food at a bar right?! But this place AMAZING! The dirty bird the burger the broccoli the Calamari I mean pretty much everything, I’m hooked. The Doublé drinks are impeccable and all at great prices. Is this place even real, yes it is!

One of Brooklyn’s hidden gems! We were visiting my daughter in Bushwick and this great little place was a 2 minute walk from our Airbnb! Had such a great time drinking cocktails at night that we went back for brunch the next day! Great Americanos, Bloody Mary’s and the food was amazing! The owner Ashley, born and raised in the neighborhood, is awesome! Loved chit-chatting with her and the staff! Sounds crazy but I love the glasses they use to serve martinis! Badass espresso martinis! Will def book my next Airbnb close to Double’! Thanks Ashley!

The sauce was delicious and the chicken was fried perfectly. The burger was great too, it was nice and moist despite being a smash burger and the cheese melted perfectly. We came back again and order the chicken tacos, chicken tenders, and nachos. The nachos were great with lots of toppings and nacho cheese which we all love. The chicken tenders were great and came with two sauces. The chicken tacos were fine, nothing wrong with them but they would likely be much better with a bit of salt. Overall this place is a must stop. Looking forward to coming back for drag brunch to try out their brunch menu.

Unfortunately I was a little too late to try their food, but one look around the room, it seemed like everyone who had food was enjoying it. I hear the wings are on the spicier side so this is a fair warning. Also, one question on my mind was, ‘do they have natural wine?’ I did find out that they in fact do carry natural wine and it is delicious! Overall happy with my trip to Doublé !

This place has very fair prices. The staff are a bit inexperienced in hospitality, but are friendly and eager to please customers. The food is tasty, if a bit heavy across the board. Coffee is good, but there isn’t a real delineation between the coffee vibe and non-coffee vibe. One thing that’s a bit problematic is their outdoor space… I agree that it should be inclusive, but when it’s just used for kids to drink bottle cocktails from the bodega or mixed drinks they make themselves and smoke weed and do other drugs and blast their Bluetooth speakers, it doesn’t really feel like that space is for paying customers anymore… I feel bad calling this out, but it’s extremely annoying when you might think you can buy a drink and relax out there, and some kids who aren’t even patrons of the establishment are invading the space with booze they aren’t even old enough to drink, various drugs, music no one asked for, and a general disrespect for everyone around them… I used to do stuff like this when I was a kid, so I get it… Also, I got kicked out of places for doing these things. Feels like it should be on the establishment to control this… Won’t stop me from coming, but I really hate it when I want to sit in their outdoor space, and it’s taken over by people who aren’t even customers who are being loud and disrespectful to those who are. Whatever… maybe that makes me a jerk… I don’t know…
