I have been eating at another Halal Munchies location for a year now, and since a friend told me that they are in Bay Ridge as well, i thought i must give it a shot. And as usual, the food was amazing. The restaurant is located in Bay Ridge's 5th ave, so a prime location. Very neat and clean restaurant with a proper indoor sitting area. Extremely friendly staff and very hygenic kitchen as well (you can see your food being prepared). The food was tasty, filling (ideally 2 servings in one platter order), flavourful and definitely worth its price. Overall a must try if you want nice flavourful food.

I had not eaten anything for a long time and needed a good full meal. Abdul and Ibrahim understood the assignment and put together one of the best chicken over rice I've had. Perfect spice, perfect amount of white sauce and served it with a smile! Must visit!

Lowkey the best halal spot in the city. The chicken over rice is actual poetry perfectly seasoned and the white sauce? Iconic. 🤌 Portions are huge, so it’s basically two meals for the price of one (we love a budget-friendly king). The staff is super chill and the vibes are immaculate for a late-night run. 10/10, no crumbs left.

This location felt perfect. Delicious food, staff who appear to enjoy their jobs, and a clean environment. I'm adding this to my list of places I frequently visit. I’ve ordered 4 Philly cheesesteak and it was very tasty and delicious. They make right front of me , which is made me feel very authentic.

We love Halal Munchies! We passed by Halal Munchies multiple times but we never tried it. The branch is immaculately clean and well-lit and always full of people, so we decided to try it out one night to see if the food was as good as it seemed. It genuinely is one of the best halal food places we've ever tasted. First off, the food is fresh. It isn't greasy or tastes like old burnt oil. The food always smells super fresh, but it's nothing compared to the taste. We ordered the chicken over rice, onion rings, and chicken tenders. Everything is excellent. The tenders and wings are never soggy. In other places, they're old and cooked to within an inch of their life and they taste like they've been heated. At Halal Munchies, the chicken is super tender and juicy. The tenders are crispy on the outside and soft and pillowey on the inside and FULL of flavor. The chicken over rice is superbly spiced and tastes just right. Their white and hot sauces are the perfect compliment to the food, and nothing is overwhelming or takes away from the taste of the rice and chicken. And they have the best seasoned fries! So crunchy and delicious! Umami and soft inside with the perfect amount of salt. They don't oversalt the food either, which tells you they want you to focus on the flavor. The employees are kind, welcoming, and very respectful. It has now become our favorite halal spot and we've ordered from here 4 days in a row. If you're on the fence or want to try something delicious, Halal Munchies is the spot. And they're open till 3:30 am, which makes it a perfect late-night snack place to grab food and go or order delivery. 10/10, this place does NOT disappoint!

affordable and delicious halal spot in bay ridge! we had the chopped cheese and lamb over rice, and both were very tasty with great quantity of food. i really liked the juicy lamb chunks and the rice was seasoned very well— they put so much meat! we also tried the pistachio ice cream while waiting and it was exactly what i wanted out of a milk popsicle; creamy and flavorful. the staff were very nice and helpful as well! overall great experience. looking forward to my next visit :)

Nice and clean place, the staff was very friendly. Place was not busy during lunchtime on a Friday. Pretty large portion, they don’t skimp on anything. I ordered the lamb platter over rice with salad and hummus. I thought the lamb would have been like gyro meat but it was sort of cubed, still yummy but not what I expected. The hummus was good but seemed to be out of package, I was hoping for more of the homemade version. Either way it was still good. The salad was fresh and the rice was delicious. I would definitely come back to this location and would want to try the kofta. They also had some type of ice cream, which I didn’t get but plan to try some other time.

The food here was okay, I walked in with high expectations based on some of the reviews but I found the flavor to be lacking and overall average compared to other locations I’ve been to who were serving similar items. If you’re in need for a quick bite, this will suffice.

Open late! Excellent place to get good gyros and excellent fries. Staff is very welcoming. We stopped in late one night, when most of the other restaurants were already closed. Street parking.

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Middle Eastern cuisine. Tables are available for dining in but there are no servers. Multiple additional locations are located in New York. Burgers, chicken tenders and nuggets, salads, gyros, wings, sandwiches, platters, desserts and beverages are available. I ordered a chicken platter with french fries, salad and rice. The generous portion was topped with a customer's choice of several sauce options. The hamburger was a nice-sized patty. The food was good and priced well. Friendly and helpful staff.

Two experiences eating here. L One was late night and I tried the tenders, falafel sandwich, onion rings, and tres leches. Falafel sandwich with hot sauce was solid and filling. The onion rings were perfectly fried and small bite sized. The chicken tenders were moist on the inside, crispy on the outside, and a little salty just the way I like it. The tres leches was moist and sweet without being overbearing. Overall, food was excellent so I was so happy to come back. But the service was also notably friendly. The tables were not that nice and haphazardly arranged and it wasn’t a comfortable place at all. Just a low key, affordable spot to get your chow down on. Second time was just now. I ordered ten piece chicken tenders and onion rings. I placed the order for pickup using seamless while biking home. I showed up and the fry cook told me something I couldn’t understand about my order not being ready for another 7 minutes so ok what can I do about it. Then the lady working the register came out of the back to tell me they don’t have chicken tenders or that they can make me a partial amount and give me something for the rest. I asked her several questions which she kept not answering which became incredibly frustrating especially since she seemed to really want to be helpful. However, I couldn’t get a straight answer out of her. Additionally, she said she was unable to give me a refund or to cancel my order. I was also told I could wait for the manager to come talk to me but he was busy “defrosting chicken tenders” somewhere in the building. Total mess of customer support. I truly couldn’t believe that they hadn’t bothered to try to make any part of my order or to cancel it when they couldn’t make it. They tried to solve the problem of their incompetence with more incompetence and a bit of kindness. To their credit, they’re nice but good lord, learn how to handle people who are hungry and busy. Also, learn how to answer the question being asked, not the one you think you’re being asked.
