Jade Bakery Brooklyn Reviews
I order food from Jade Bakery online from Weee. I love their Coconut Cream Bread and Custard Cocktail Buns! Those are always repeat orders for me. They are always tasty, delicious, soft, and fresh. Consistent quality. The flavor of the bread in the Custard Cocktail Buns actually remind me of my grandma’s recipe for what she called, “Light Rolls” and I haven’t had them for so long (she was born in 1915 and has been gone for years so when I eat these they bring me so much joy and have that added sweet coconut center that she would have loved as much as I do…thank you! :) ).
tasty chicken bun thats my fav, fried chicken is so juicy and salted perfectly. Just more expensive than others but worth it.
Tried their Portuguese egg tart. Flaky crust and perfect egg custard. What a perfect combo. I would purchase again.

Old school flavor, I like the breakfast here. Everything I ate here is excellent. Reminds me of Silver Palace back in the 70s in NYC Chinatown. If my Grand Parents were alive today they would all approve. Best Regards, Jimmy Wong Brooklyns Chuchero World VIP AUTO NYC
For simple American taste go for the pineapple buns. They have different fillings but I like the plain. With a coffee in the morning - nothing better
First choice for Chinese bakery around the area, especially they have fresh tofu fa.

The area Jade Bakery is located has many amazing shops, but even double-parking is difficult. Jade is located in a less busier corner, and I found double-parking so I went in. I love this type of atmosphere, food on trays, baking in the back, focus on practicality, not decor, no pretensions - it is exactly what it is supposed to be - a neighborhood bakery that caters to people on their way to work. So, the food. I am very particular about my steamed buns - their's didn't pass - thick dough, not soft billowy. The filling was pork/vegetable, not tasty and very minimal- too little for the bun. The shrimp rice noodles was a winner - hand-made, not pre-made rice noodles, and six fresh shrimps. The last item was wrapped peanut sticky rice, really light, fresh, and tasty. The bun, white noodle with shrimp, and peanut sticky rice, $7.00. I added an iced coffee, $10.50. ( Beware: I was there at 8 am, but they had already sold out: shrimp dumplings, chive dumplings, beef balls, and shumai)

The best time to go there is around 7-7:30 am when they are baking everything. My favorite is open coconut bun with yellow coconut sprinkled on the top.
Ginger honey, ginseng honey and pomelo honey teas are so delicious. Only downfall is, it is a small place so sometimes there is nowhere to sit because some people take up 2 seats for some reason. Buns are also very good.
I love this place cane once with my daughter and we both enjoyed the experience. Baking done on premises food yummy and totally cheap. Great addition to this growing chinese community.

Tea was pretty good but, bubbles weren’t fresh. The person at the register was also very rude. I would come back to try their pastries though.

Plain egg tarts were not great. Stiff, overbaked crust and a custard too firm/set
pretty decent local joint and bolobao had crispy top but the dough a bit thick edit: came back at eve and damn its thicc and dery, reducing from 4 to 3

I don't want to give a bad review because they are probably struggling enough to get customers. But I bought a meat bun a few months back and it was a bit stale like. The meat definitely had an odor to it and was dried out, not like actual dried meat flavor, but that maybe there was potential spoilage. Luckily I didn't get sick but I wouldn't count on it twice.

This Jade Bakery is a black shop. The one-off forks are recycled to the guests. The forks used by others are also taken back for use by the next guest. Food are not clean and the waiter's attitude are very bad. Today, I bought a fried dumpling and found that the disposable fork was used. It was extremely disgusting to see that I could not eat their dumplings. Finally, due to the lack of breakfast, my stomach hurts. Therefore, I hope everyone will not go to this black shop to spend, so as to avoid suffering and be deceived.
I ordered the chicken rice and it was undercooked, the sauce tastes weird and the cashier was rude. 0/10 do not go here unless you want salmonella!!!

Here's another of my worse food review. Baked goods there are horrible. No taste and seems very stale. I think they use expire ingredients. As for the staff, all the females there, nothing but attitude from these old chicken farts.
I was sold uncooked food many times, my colleague also had the same experience. This is the only bakery around the area that sells certain foods but sadly I won’t be buying their buns and rice anymore. I ate some of it and saw the uncooked chicken when I flipped the meat over. Gave me a diarrhea. Ugh
Do not eat here. I brought shrimp rice rolls for $3.50 and the shrimp was extremely mushy and has a weird texture and rice rolls were powdery. It was absolutely disgusting. This is unacceptable. Boss lady was nice and was carrying a goyard handbag. But how does this place stay in business with such bad food.
Dude really. Found a bug in the bread and it was my first time eating there def not going back. That's not how you do business..
