Kiku Sushi Brooklyn Reviews
Delicious and affordable! This has been our go-to sushi spot for the last 10+ years.
My families staple sushi spot my whole life growing up here. $71 for 12 rolls is a great deal for the party tray.
go-to spot for poke bowls! we order doordash from here almost once a week and the bowls are always delicious. huge bowls, super fresh fish and generous toppings. highly recommend this awesome spot!
Hands-down the most loaded poké bowls in Brooklyn. For only $15 you can get 3 different types of protein, a ton of toppings, and 3 sauces, and I literally cannot reach the rice beneath all the fish. I can never finish a full bowl from this place in 1 sitting, and I’m a large guy. The fish and ingredients are always fresh and taste great, and the price is so worth it.
Party tray was such a great value and the fish was super yummy.

So I’m very happy with their deal & lunch specials, and I see that the bad reviews are speaking about the other restaurant also named Kiku, that is also on 7th that has table service. This Kiku has takeout & delivery only.
This place is the best! I am a teen boy who loves to eat sushi but doesn’t love the prices. This place is excellent in taste and excellent in price, my favorite thing is the 2 roll sushi lunch special. It is great value and so delicious! Definitely recommend.
Always very efficient take out experience. I often order ahead over the phone and it is ready so fast. Love their lunch specials!
Best sushi in Park Slope for the price!
Idk why this place is rated so low I imagine cu people get it confused with the other Kiku sushi but it’s a different restaurant ? All I have to say is I’m a food snob and it’s been hard to find good takeout sushi that is reliable , fresh, and not in the overly polished sugarfish type category. Don’t get me wrong I love both styles, but the quality of the fish heee and ESPECIALLY for the price I’m just blown away. I had almost given up on takeout sushi the tuna was sponges and salmon just.. idk. Anyways, I never write reviews but felt so inclined when I saw this rating. This place definitely is misrated out of confusion with the other Kai. Try it out- it’s worth it
The best waitresses ,kind and very attentive and the food is delicious and fresh every time.
This is My Favorite restaurant! Literally the best kept secret in the world. I go here so often If it ever closes, I will probably starve to death.
My go to spot for take out lunch specials. Their lunch special is one of the last great values in the neighborhood. Food has always been attractive and fresh. It’s not going to win any awards for best sushi in the city, but you already knew that. It’s a quality, healthy, affordable lunch option. I particularly appreciate their vegetarian and tempura options and the fast friendly service.

Easy in-and out sushi! Customize your roll, or get the lunch special (2 rolls with soup or salad) for $11. The best.

I wanted something healthy and light for dinner. It's been a while since I've had sushi, and this hit the spot. The avocado salad is just, of course, avocado with only iceberg lettuce. I thought it would have been more like the green salad I ordered as well. So, I just put the two together when I ate it. Always love the ginger dressing and can't get enough of it. The spicy crunchy salmon roll is the star for me out the 3 rolls I ordered. I loved the taste with a little wasabi and sauce. You got to love it. The other rolls were good as well. So, I will definitely be trying other items on the menu.

If the state of the fish tank is any indication of how they treat their fish, then I’d advise going elsewhere. The prices are relatively cheap, the miso soup is fine, but the sushi quality has gone down hill. Sadly, this is the last time I’ll order from them.

N one greets you when you walk in, they just look at you and go about whatever. It’s not that difficult to have manners. Floors were so sticky, so were the tables. Was told after the fact that the cc machine was down and told to write my credit card number down for them so they could charge it later. Just not a good experience. Food was not that great.
I would order at least once a month from this place . I loved this place at one point However one of the last times I ordered I had gotten sick . When I called they said all the sushi I ordered had a cooked component so I couldn't have gotten sick from eating there . Most recently I ordered 56 dollars worth of sushi for me and my child . My child was fine but my sushi was horrible . I had gotten a double spicy roll which I couldn't even eat because the fish smelled old and tasted like it went bad . I also ordered a spicy scallop roll which had a bad flavor to it . The Philadelphia roll and Alaskan roll were good and tasted ok . My child had ate it and it was good . However, the other rolls were terrible . When I called the lady yelled at me and only refunded me 13$ .I will not be ordering again .

I bought with door dash also utilizing their 2 and 1 specials. I also prefer one specialty sushi roll. Everything tastes terrible. Like it was old. Even the basic rolls that every store has tasted off. All the rolls I orders 6+ tasted old and off. I ordered based off the good rating and was very disappointed I could really eat much. I forced myself to try two of each incase I just mistook it, but no it definitely tasted old and very off, like it had been left out. Almost made me want to gag. Cheesecake was good.
Truly disgusting garbage can sushi. Do not do it! Avoid!
I don’t like writing negative reviews but man this place has gone downhill. The time before last the person taking our order couldn’t get anything right so we left. Next time, to avoid that persons “confusion” I ordered through Grubhub for pickup. 3 very standard rolls and I was waiting out front for an hour. That happens, I understand things can get busy. They start cleaning up and getting ready to close so I go back inside again and they reach under a table and was like “oh here it is, sorry about that”…..I’m pretty sure sushi was sitting there for 40 min. The people who work here most likely can’t tie their shoes much less handle and store raw fish for safe consumption

This is strictly a review for delivery but it’s enough to never come in for dinner. My wife and I eat a lot of sushi. Consider it one of favorite types of food. This was some seriously questionable fish. I don’t usually get concerned but it was made immediately evident once we opened it up and there is an odd fishy smell coming from the box. I’ve cooked in restaurants for over 10 years and I know what fresh fish smells like. This honestly dangerous. Grubhub gave me a full refund and as I’m writing this I feel ok (fingers crossed) but the overlay texture and flavor of the fish and rice is not good. We had to throw it all in the garbage ($80 worth of sushi) in fear of risking any kind of food born illness. I wish this wa as joke but believe me I wouldn’t write this unnecessarily. Wouldn’t try again.
