Little Pizza Parlor Brooklyn Reviews
The Food: You have to try the pepperoni and honey slice. It sounds like a "curious" culinary experiment gone wrong, but it is surprisingly incredible. The sweet-and-spicy combo is the plot twist your taste buds didn't know they needed. 10/10 for the pizza. The Vibe: I’m convinced the seating area is actually a secret casting office for an indie film. When we ate here, the "cast" included: Three artists with massive shopping bags who were clearly seeing colors that don't exist yet (they were a bit high). A stoic NYPD officer in full uniform just trying to eat in peace. A pack of students who looked like they’d just survived a very liquid happy hour. It was the perfect opening scene for a New York comedy. If you want world-class people-watching and a pepperoni slice that challenges your worldview, this is the spot. Pro Tip: Get the honey drizzle. Watch the chaos. Enjoy the show.
Solid spot with good variety of slices and for a fair/reasonable price. The italian sausage and margherita are especially good. Also offer full pies, but only grabbed by the slice the times we went. Small place with limited seating, so grabbing to go is probably the easiest move. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re staying near by or passing through Dumbo
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Downtown Brooklyn Gem Little Pizza Parlor is one of those rare neighborhood spots that instantly wins you over. Tucked away on a quiet street in downtown Brooklyn, it offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere the moment you walk in. The staff is incredibly friendly, and there’s plenty of room to sit, relax, and actually enjoy your meal, something that’s getting harder to find these days. They have a great variety of pizza options, all fresh and full of flavor, but the classic pepperoni and cheese is my personal favorite. It’s always cooked perfectly with the ideal mix of crispiness and cheesy goodness. You can tell they put real care into everything they make. Between the amazing food, the inviting vibe, and the consistently excellent service, Little Pizza Parlor has become my go-to spot in the neighborhood. If you’re in downtown Brooklyn, do yourself a favor and stop by. Highly recommended!
They have pretty amazing slices, open late til midnight. $5 for a quality slice, round pies, and also square pies. Can also get a cold Brooklyn beer to enjoy with the pizza. Small spot but perfect for the neighborhood without the high prices. If youre staying at the Sheraton Brooklyn or Aloft Brooklyn, or anywhere near Dumbo or Metrotech, you have to check out this place
If you are downtown and you’re hungry past 10pm, most stores will be closing. After some searching we stumbled on this pizza spot just because it was open late and we were starving. The service was quick and our pizza had just come out of the oven, amazing! Which other pizza joint is baking new pizza past 10pm??? Overall great find and perfect place to go when its late and you’re looking for a bite.
I was looking for a good slice of Brooklyn pizza to share with my kids where I can also find a Gluten Free version. This place was highly rated on Google, so we went, and now I know why. The pizza was delicious. My son had a slice of white and he said it was the best he had. I waited about 15 minutes for them to make my GF pizza and it was worth the wait. The crust was thin, chewy and crunchy. The sauce was delicious, more on the garlic side than the sweet side which I love. And the cheese didn't disappoint, it was stringy and not saturated in grease. I will definitely be back and will order this again. I highly recommend.
Came here after the Leon Thomas concert for some late night food because I was craving pizza. When I walked up, there was a line outside the door, but it moved pretty fast. Once I got inside, one of the workers greeted me right away and took my order. He was really friendly, which set the tone. I ordered a margherita slice and a pepperoni slice. The line kept moving and the space looked clean and smelled amazing. Both slices were fresh and I took everything to go. The total for two slices plus tip was $11.24. When it was time to eat, the portion sizes were good and definitely not skimpy. The margherita slice was great, and I was excited for the pepperoni because it looked so good. The pepperoni itself had great flavor, but something about the cheese and sauce combination felt slightly off. It wasn’t bad, just not as strong as the margarita slice. Even with that, I would still come back and try other slices because the service was great and the place was clean and quick.
A great neighborhood pizzeria that does things right. Large NYC cheese slices baked to perfection, check. Friendly service, check. Cool vibe, check. Outdoor seating to enjoy the weather, check. Specialty slices that are flavorful, double-check. Prices skew higher but justified by location and quality.
Pizzas were pretty good. Nice and cheesy, too! We had the ready-made slices and tried a few different ones. I loved the margarita. We enjoyed the pepperoni, cheese, mushroom, and veggie ones, too. The garlic knots were okay. It's a small place with limited seating, but they do have some outdoor seating, too. The service was good too.
Overall rating: 4.5 I liked the pizza, don’t get me wrong. But was it the most amazing pizza I’ve ever had in Brooklyn? No? Something was missing for me. The decor of the restaurant transported me back in time which was cool. Less hole in the wall, more chill restaurant vibe. Very different than what I was expecting which is a good thing. I thought it was interesting that some of these reviews say it is really affordable. $5+ for a slice is not affordable. Suppose it’s all relative.
Nice atmosphere with people ready to eat famous pizza. Flavour of the bread is good. Souces are OK, but felt spicy everything, even the cheese one. A bit oily and with somehow not the expected salami. Small and full of oil, maybe was not salamy. I just ask to have the recommended pizza, so maybe my fault, I didn't know what I was ordering. By the way, the chicken is a bit spicy.
