Masa Empanadas Brooklyn Reviews
I really really liked the food here, its not too pricey and empanadas are extremely filling. I love they have vegan and vegetarian options as well as pizza and ice cream. This place has it all. I definitely recommend this spot, its worth every penny!
My husband ate nothing but these empanadas for WEEKS begging me to bring these back for him whenever I came back from work. I didn't understand how he could eat only one thing until I tried it for myself and oh my God are these amazing. If you're trying empanadas for the first time the Beef empanadas are a must, they have some very adventurous offerings on the menu and while I myself love some veggie empanadas, this place is a carnivore's delight. Do NOT skip on getting the chimichurri, it's probably a pain to make but it's incredible. There's a poor college student that's probably dicing all the herbs by hand, mixing olive oil, putting their heart into that sauce and I robbed that woman asking for like 8 containers of the stuff. To the woman who made that fantastic sauce I'm sorry that I ask for so much of it, hopefully you get enough business now that you can sell it fresh by the bottle. Absolutely love this place, a must if you're in Brooklyn looking for a solid lunch!
Unbelievable!!! So so scrumptious and flavorful. New favorite spot!! The ham & cheese and spinach empanadas were unreal tasty - packed with flavor but light and easy to eat. Get the spinach, ham & cheese and beef - you will totally love and enjoy this place!! Oh, and the chimichurri is crazy good.
So delicious the best empanadas, my fav is the sun dried tomato with mozzarella is chef's kiss! The crust is so light and the flavor is perfecto 🥰 I also like the chipotle chicken and the spinach and cheese ones!
A damn fine slice at a reasonable price. Cold beer and sidewalk seating is a must.
Fast and friendly staff. I always drive past it and wanted to give it a try. I was in the neighborhood and thought why not finally give it a try. Not your traditional empanada taste you get from a Spanish restaurant but still taste pretty good in its own way. I had the ham and cheese and chicken chipotle.
Solid spot to grab a few empanadas to go. I got the chicken and Argentinian beef ones and they were delicious. I really enjoyed the chimichurri sauce that they provided because it went well with the food. Definitely looking forward to stopping by again so I can try a few more options!
Delicious empanadas, enjoyed the Argentinan beef but the sweetcorn was ever better. Can't wait to try more
I decided to try that place and I got a big surprise with the empandas. I don't know how the guy who serves can do everything wow pick up the phone take orders kitchen Mauricio you're amazing thanks
Very unassuming empanada spot! Saw the sign that said “pop-up” but apparently they employee didn’t know why that was there 😭. chipotle chicken and Argentinian beef were on point. def a future go-to in my book
The dough is really all that!! Amazing slice!
I asked the guy at the counter if I could put a message inside the box of empanadas for my girlfriend, the guy agreed and that moment was very special, thank you Mauricio for making that moment very special for us

It took me too long to find this spot, but have been ordering here for months now and consistently find them be one of the best quick lunch options in the area. The Argentinian beef is always reliable and their three empanada with a drink deal is hard to beat in quality (can't praise the chimichurri sauce enough). Can't speak on the other reviews but I've had consistently great service here when doing takeout. Guys working the window are always smiling when handing me the meals, always confirm my order and remember my face at this point. Worth supporting for that alone.
Lovely takeout empanadas.. Winter special $9 for three, best lunch deal in Clinton Hill!
Love this spot, we go at least weekly, hard to beat for a quick lunch. Shoutout Nelson for great service too!
The empanadas are baked! I did not know empanadas are not always deep fried. I tried the Argentinian with black olives, beef, and boiled egg. It was delicious. The portions are smaller compared to deep friend empanadas but the fillings are great. The outdoor sitting is nice but it can get noisy since this is a busy street!

Service was friendly and helpful. The Argentine pizza dough was light and fluffy, the olive, ham and peppers could have been placed under the mozzarella just to keep things together. Especially if you are eating it outside the restaurant. We got two Argentine slices and two cokes for $15.
I had a cheese slices of pizza. It was ok. Really liked the location and aesthetic of the place. It seems their empanadas are very unique and good. Will be coming back to try those. So wait for an updated review.

I wanted to like this place, pizza, empanadas and ice cream what’s not to love!?? Well let me tell you! I have to say the guy behind the window he tried to be attentive and that’s why I gave it 3 stars; otherwise it would had been 1. So I ordered 2 empanadas one chicken and one cheese, a slice of pepperoni pizza and strawberry sundae. First I was given the wrong empanada it was beef instead of chicken; second, the size of those empanadas do not justify the price; third the beef one was horrible I threw it away after one bit. Have to say that the cheese one was decent. Fourth the pizza I was excited especially since the guy say it’s freshly out of the oven; what a disappointment, let’s just say I had frozen pizza that tasted better. The size ridiculously small for the price! 5 dollars for a small slice despicable. Fifth, the ice cream sundae first they serve it on a cup that does not have a top; to seat there, cool but, for to go not the best thing. How is it possible that you charge 5.00 for a sundae and for the strawberry you use Hersey sirup?? When your sundae tastes so bad that McDonald’s sundaes are better tasting and cost less- you have a problem. Overall this place has potential the idea is great; but poorly executed! Better quality ingredients and better flavors could justify the overpriced menu. And provide your staff with the correct packing options.
