Mizu Brooklyn Reviews
i have tried some of the onakase places in the area and i'll be honest, you're better off spending your menu at a spot like this one. fair prices for good food unlike those other expensive spot where it's all for the hype and not worth. if you want some real good sushi for a good price for the area. Mizu is your spot!
my favorite is the spicy tuna roll. very good sushi spot for a reasonable price. one of the last few spots in the area fir comfort sushi food. try this spot!
I love this place. My children and I eat there as much as we can.
Very quick and polite service. The salmon Maki had much more fish than expected for the price. Happy hour gives you one free alcoholic drink which is insane in BK.
Super fast service. Split two lunch specials: the sashimi and 3 roll special. Everything was delicious. Yummy miso and all the fish was great! They make the sushi fresh right in front of you in an exposed kitchen. I will for sure be back regularly!
Quiet, quick, and great food! I was shocked at how fresh the tempura was and the light batter, and the side salad was fresh. I also modified my order with no issue. It’s a small, intimate place with servers that are attentive, but not too attentive. I tried the Hawaiian roll, the eel, and salmon. I recommend it all!
Indoor dining is BACK at Mizu. They’ve revamped the dining room with nice booths. I didn’t take a pic because I didn’t want to take pictures of people. I think they even redid the bathroom. As always, they have the best lunch special in town EVEN ON WEEKENDS! I usually go for the 2 or 3 toll lunch special. Today I had the pork katsu bento box. Was so happy to sit inside again.
Nice service, food always on point. Fresh sushi, not limp and oily. Habachi is always fun and just as great tasting. We always ask for a little extra butter and garlic. Just because we love a little extra not that it needs it. The Japanese burger was tasty, and bento box had a little different taste of teriyaki today but still enjoyable.
Came through and had their lunch special - sushi and sashimi for $15 and came with soup and salad. The place had plenty of seats and was perfect for a solo lunch. Myself and four other solo diners munched away on our Japanese food. They also have bento box and noodles but this hit summer day asked for fresh raw fish. The food was good, the service was prompt and overall it was a solid experience. Come and enjoy!
I came to enjoy a moment take a hot tea and some sushi and roll. The recet roll I take was so nice , it just had a lil weird smell I think they have to clean good the utensils they use to make the sushi. The waitress attending wasn’t so kindly and friendly, i asked her wish was the best sushi and sashimi in the restaurant and she just answer in bad temple. If not for those details I would give a 5 star 🌟
I hate leaving a bad review, but I would order from somewhere else (even despite the BOGO deal happening on Uber Eats right now). The food is just not very good—I’m a little baffled by how they got such high ratings 😓 Maybe it’s better if you go in person!
Ordered delivery from here and the sushi was absolutely abhorrent. We are sick from the rolls… beware!
If women go to Sushite for food, they don't say anything to the delivery guys. And if the delivery guys ask how long it will take to get the food, they say nothing and leave. And what if we receive the food, ask twice or three times, after receiving the food when we come, they give us a bad lag and report. This is the worst, the sad thing is that they don't respect any delivery guy.
Ordered in Uber eats and they are running a promotion where you buy one get one roll free - when you select that roll they have it showing as 2 rolls in your cart, however they only sent 1 roll. When I called to inquire about the 2nd roll, they said I was doing it wrong. As you can see in the photos, their system is set up to say you are receiving 2 rolls. They are incorrect or trying to scam customers.
The worst Japanese restaurant I have ever ordered from. I ordered soba noodles and specifically asked for no tofu and they still gave me tofu. And the worst part is the 15 dollar soba wasn’t even soba and it looked like ramen and had the white color. I need it to be gluten free and the first time the receptionist heard my question and just left me hanging for 5 minutes and didn’t even say sorry and just hang up! So rude!!!!! And I called again and she said she had a lot of customers right now so she can’t answer a simple question of whether this is gluten free or not. I don’t believe a single word she said. It’s not Nobu please you don’t have a lot of customers and just because I ordered online doesn’t mean i deserve to be treated like this. Extremely rude attitude and extremely unprofessional. Food is mediocre to say the best. Will never order again.
