Putnam's Pub & Cooker Brooklyn Reviews
Love this place! Very friendly staff. Great food, really good fries if you’re a fries lover like me! And warm ambience. Not too loud or busy when we went, just perfect. There is also a rewards / points program, so signed up for that because I know we will be back!
I was given immediate attention and the food was delicious.
Artichoke salad was so amazing, really great spot to hang out as well
Great margs and even cooler vibes! The Irish make a mean marg! Efficient service and stellar French fries. Can’t wait to explore the area as an upcoming resident! Will be back :)
super cozy neighborhood spot. tasty food, very kid friendly.
Putnam's Pub in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, is a nice spot we visited during Myrtle Restaurant Week 2024. We waited about an hour for a table but got a text when it was ready. The food was delicious and included a three-course meal with appetizers, entrees, and dessert. The ambiance was simple and cozy, with nice music in the background. Special thanks to the friendly staff who made our experience enjoyable.
Really good local spot. I've been going for a while now and haven't been disappointed. Solid burgers and drinks. If you're keeping it local, you can't go wrong here.
Was in the neighborhood on Saturday. Stopped in for dinner. What a nice experience. I wish we had a proper pub like this on the UWS. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.
I ordered take out from this place. The Pork chop is so good one of the best I’ve ever had. The Caesar salad was also very good with real anchovies. Great find for Brooklyn eats.
Has a get together for 15. Drinks and apps. Separately side area just for us. Lovely and kind staff. Brussels and deviled eggs were fabulous. Highly recommend the old fashioned.
I love it here. Shayna our waitress was attentive even though it was busy when my partner and I visited. We had the mac and cheese, NY strip, cauliflower fritters, and beef stew. All were amazing. I love the cozy atmosphere. If we lived closer we'd frequent this pub.
Excellent food and perfect customer service. Could not be happier. I’m so glad this place is in the neighborhood (and open late too)!
Great spot to grab a drink with friends! The food is fantastic! A very impressive special with the oysters on Thursday. The grilled chicken was really good too. The ciabatta was so soft and the tomato jam was the best I’ve had. They obviously care about putting out good food. And the cocktails were really well done.
The service, servers, and bartenders are amazing!!! The atmosphere and ambiance is always high spirited. You can always make new friends or just relax if you want to decompress. Been going there for years and never, not once have I experienced a bad situation. Great seasonal menus for bar and food. These people know what they are doing and know how to put on a great performance!!!
I got lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote for brunch, and they were amazing and the perfect portion size. The wait staff is polite and efficient. Although it was loud inside, I chose to sit outside and take in the pleasant weather and peaceful surroundings.
Terrific happy hour catch up spot for groups! Food is good and the drinks are a deal during happy hour. It is also never too crowded that your group can't grab a table right away.
Food was phenomenal and our server, Rebecca G, was the absolute best wait staff I've had in a long, long time. Great recommendations, attentive, personable, just fantastic! We will definitely be back.
Good food, great vibe. We go and sit in the booth for hours
My phone died and I was lost in this side of town in which I seldom visit and needed to refresh and recharge. Luckily, I spotted this place across the street- from the outside it looked welcoming, cool, and friendly. I was happy to meet the barman (bearded fellow with glasses and a Mets hat) who I regretfully can't remember the name of at the time of this review. He was kind, funny, and delivered great service. I got two shrimp tacos and a Putnam Lager which were a fantastic combo. Don't hesitate to come here, they turned my day around with their exceptionally friendly hospitality and quality food and drink! - Sol et Soleil
Our favorite local pub, food is shockingly good, service is spectacular!
Definitely one of my favorite bars while being in Brooklyn. Great food, great service, friendly staff, great draft beers and cocktails. On a Friday night, this is exactly what one would look forward to, especially if you're going solo. Kudos to the owners and the staff; you guys are doing awesome.
Upon arrival my family and I were greeted by the host who was very welcoming. we proceeded to our table which was a booth and perfect for the family. Our order went as follows. Bottomless Bellini's to start which happen to be well balanced. Salt and Pepper Shrimp, mac and cheese, Side of Grits, For the brunch Entree's we ordered French Toast, Eggs Norwegian, Kids Waffle Sundae. the Pepper Shrimp was more of a shrimp tempura which you typically get for sushi non the less it was still tasty. The mac and cheese had good flavor. The French Toast was pretty good I really enjoyed the strawberry mascarpone instead of typical whipped cream great touch. Eggs were cooked to perfection on the Eggs Norwegian. Kids Waffle was enjoyed. Thank You to the staff for great hospitality.
Drinks great! Happy hour till 7pm. Food great! We got the cheeseburger spring rolls. Service great! We sat at the bar and Diana was the bartender. I’d put 6 stars for the service if it was an option :)
I always have such a great time here. The food is so wonderful and the atmosphere is perfection. Service is great too! Definitely one of my go to spots.
Did not expect to be blown away by the service at this place, James was an amazing host, he was very attentive and sweet for being the only one working. Would definitely recommend, the food was a 11/10 as well.
James was amazing… we came on a night where he was by himself and he was on the ball the entire time… made me and my company feel welcomed and appreciated to be there, service was nothing short of top tier !! Must come on a day he is here !!
Getting a reservation here is challenging. The design inside is beautiful and shows good judgment. The employees show genuine kindness. We didn't wait unnecessarily. The crowd here speaks to the quality.
Great good and service ! I will be coming back ! The lemon ricotta pancakes were great. My high school classmate met up to have brunch and catch up. I like the esthetic of the restaurant.
Solid meet up spot if you’re going to Brooklyn navy yard or Storehouse. We only had drink so I can’t speak to the food.
This place has quality food. Is consistently good every time I come here. It's especially great for happy hour. $6 wines, discounted appetizers from 4-7p.m. Plus, the wait staff is amazing. They are super friendly and make you feel like you're at a friend's house having a great meal. Atmosphere is rustic and hip at the same time.
My mother brought me here for the first time and she said u have to try the steak frites. I was on the fence about giving them a shot then I said what the heck. Omg! The steak 🥩 is an absolute go too with fresh spinach salad and skinny fries. Also happy hour 4-7pm $1.50 oysters 🦪 for the oyster lovers. This is a definite go to spot if ur ever in the area. Ask for Courtland an amazing and knowledgeable server.
I really love this neighborhood spot, they’ve truly created such a special third space in the community. Everyone who works here is so incredibly kind. One time I came in to watch football on a Sunday and the manager spent over 20 minutes tracking down the Eagles game for me because it wasn’t on any local channels. They really go out of their way to make it feel like a home away from home. I recently hosted a small party here and all my friends had an amazing time. We had plenty of space, great drinks, and never felt rushed. I also have to give a major shoutout to the Thursday trivia it’s always solid and so much fun :)
We recently had my birthday party here in the downstairs Bordello. Great cocktails and food!! Our bartender James went above and beyond to make sure it was an awesome night. Big thanks to Gerry the owner for putting up with my multiple phone calls to get it scheduled!! Go visit Putnams!!
I have been coming to Putnam's for years, but recently celebrated my birthday there during Trivia Night and had the absolute best time! They made sure we had everything we needed, and the drinks flowing. It was an amazing night!
This pub is a wonderful place! Yorick is absolutely incredible and the servers and bartenders were, as well. The food is great and the ambiance is lovely. The music selection is on point and my friends and I easily sat in our booth for over four hours. I was pleasantly surprised because I wasn’t expecting such a good time. I will be returning to this hidden neighborhood gem!
Phenomenal. One of the best steaks I've had for the price. That peppercorn au jus is to live for. Simply sensational. I got my favorite spot to sit at and everything.
I went here for an early Saturday dinner, it was my first time and it won't be my last time . It's a nice place with a nice atmosphere, they were playing great music at just the right volume so you can still have a conversation and enjoy the music with your dinner. The service was good, my server ( Skinny and tall I think his name was Jake) was really attentive and welcoming. I couldn't ask for anything better. He recommended the steak and the dessert, which were both very enjoyable. Their NY strip steak with the au poivre sauce was really good .I also had some oysters and I tried the molten chocolate lava cake, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and crushed peanuts, for dessert and it was a perfect way to top off my meal. The only criticism I have for them is the fish and chips, we didn't enjoy it at all, it had way too much batter for our liking but everything else was so great I still gave them 5 stars but please guys, that fish and chips recipe needs overhauling.
Every aspect from entrance to exit shows real care. The kitchen creates wonderful meals in a proper setting. The food is worth what you pay for it. Workers provided excellent service and all employees offered support! I discovered this wonderful spot while browsing Yelp.
This spot has mastered both food quality and service. The team provides thoughtful service with authentic care. The kitchen handles salt and heaviness carefully, while emphasizing texture and creativity. Waitstaff were helpful, our food arrived fast, and each dish was properly cooked. This place meets its goals perfectly.
Putnam is one of my favorite pubs in the area. They really got it all. Never had been disappointed with anything I got. Great food, amazing service, and a very cool vibe all round. I recommend the spinach dip and the calamari for starters for sure. The Steak Frites is a favorite of mine! I was a bit disappointed with the wings but overall, a 10/10 place to eat!
I’m not too sure when they opened, but I think we were there in the first week and it’s only gotten better. The unfortunate fire closed them down for some time, but they’re back and going at it better than ever. The burger, the fried chicken sandwich, the shrimp and grits, potato leek soup, and the French press coffee are your top notch items. They also have a nice selection of house beers, but also your typical foreign and domestic‘s. I haven’t been there for lunch in some time, but I loved the half sandwich and soup of ham and Gruyere on a light toasted and buttered baguette with Dijon mustard and cornichons, and a tomato soup. Memorable lunches.
Great neighborhood spot. This has been our go-to option for the past 2 or so years. Whatever the casual occasion, Putnam's has got you covered. Brunch, dinner, drinks, it's all good. I consider myself to be a Bloody Mary Expert and Putnam's Bloody Mary is top-notch. Supremely flavorful, decorative, and packs a punch. We also got the nachos but ate them too fast, couldn't grab a photo in time :) There is truly nothing bad on the menu.
Happened upon this place through a Google search: wanted to find a spot that was a pub in Brooklyn and not in Manhattan. Decided to make it a group outing with The Crew. Reservations are recommended. We had a choice of seating arrangements. Service started out slow, but eventually it picked up. All the food we tried was fresh and simple (not overly complicated). Salmon on their salad had crispy skin along with the roasted chicken (you don't really see that often anywhere). Mac n cheese was also another hit. Other highlights were the cheeseburger spring rolls, braised short rib (comes apart like nothing), and the lava chocolate cake. Drinks were on point too. Can get a bit pricey though, so beware of that. Definitely gotta come back to try other things on menu. Thanks again for a great time.
This spot is cozy, homey and welcoming. The dining area was actually smaller than it looked from the outside, but it still had a good amount of seating. They had a nice wooded bar to the right of the entrance, fully stacked and ready to serve the brunch crowds! They offer bottomless brunch every weekend, or you can just get whatever that makes you (and your tummy) happy! We ordered Scarlet Flip and The Halpenny. The Scarlet Flip was very refreshin, bubbly and elegant, I really liked it! The Halpenny had very strong espresso flavor. Wake you up with an aromatic punch! To start off, we ordered their Buttermilk Biscuit and Mac & Cheese. Bisctuit was super moist and soft, warm and fluffy like a cloud that is ready to rain down some rainbow drops! Mac & Cheese was so much smaller than we expected, but packed with great flavor! This little pot of gold was creamy, filling, and satisfying. Once we saw the size of the Mac & Cheese, we felt ok about adding a second appetizer that we really wanted to try. We ordered Scotch Egg. The egg was perfectly cooked, meaty, satisfying bite. For main, we ordered Impossible Burger and Putnam's Burger. Impossible Burger patty was more thin and flat than the ones I’ve had elsewhere. Regardless, it was still very tasty, packed with flavor. For Putnam’s Burger, we added cheddar cheese, bacon, and egg. It looked like the Leaning Tower of Pisa!!! And it was quite tasty! High ingredients, prepared with care and love. Needless to say, it was super filling and satisfying. As you can imagine, we were stuffed. But, we somehow managed to order their signature Irish Coffee as our "dessert." It was much bigger than we expected, but it was not concentrated, so that made sense. Still, it was nice and strong, warm and went down smooth. Our server. McKenna was super nice and friendly, polite and welcoming. She took a good care of us. It was a satisfying and fun brunch. We don’t usually go to Brooklyn for brunch, but definitely worth the trip! This place had such warm, relaxing atmosphere, we had a really good time. We would love to go back for more of their upscale cocktails and tasty food!
This is a great local restaurant/bar that has amazing food and great service. They have raw oysters every day, with a special on Thursdays. My fave dishes are the burger, crispy artichoke salad with shrimp, crispy brussel sprouts, and Mac n cheese- just to name a few. Portions are pretty big. 4 stars only because the menu is on the smaller side, but you can't go wrong with any of the options. They have outdoor seating with protection from the elements if it is raining. There is also a basement level room for small parties/ events.
This was our favorite spot to go as a big family. Food and service is great BUT please make the salt & pepper shrimp how you used to. The last time we came we were excited to place a bunch of orders of it and it was not the same as we have always ordered. That was a staple in the past.
Quiet Monday night meal with my lady and family. This is probably my 3rd visit. We have enjoyed many dishes. Tonight, I had the salmon. My fellow diners ordered the fish & chips and the double cheeseburger. My salmon was cooked perfectly as requested and served over a bed of wilted greens with some kind of base of i can't remember what and grilled cauliflower. I enjoyed it very much, as did the rest of our party. It's busier in the warmer months and weekends, of course. Solid menu that's not fancy gastropub, but not basic bar food offerings. I've enjoyed the Scotch egg prior visits.
Food was mostly very good (for one person in our group, it was mixed). Service was a bit uneven - very friendly although not as attentive as we needed (we had to do without a utensil for awhile and wasn't able to get coffee or drinks refilled before our meal was over). We really loved the atmosphere and appreciated that it was spacious.
Lovely neighborhood spot! Happy hour is great with some delicious food options available. Service is sometimes slow so be prepared to spend some time here. Family friendly and overall a wonderful experience.
I like this place very warm and inviting spot. The chicken sandwich are amazing.
A late dinner with friends after the opening night of Dance Africa. Not our first rodeo as it's a well-heeled neighborhood eatery. We enjoyed some favorite menu items. I also enjoy the bar selection of ciders!
The experience was cool! Had to ask if they still had unlimited brunch because it wasn't on the menu. I gave 4 stars because the vodka lemon is amazing but the chicken and waffles were saved by the fresh tasting waffle. Drinks are just the right amount of strong but it's a wait for refills unless you gave whoever is walking by.
Putnams is a very nice relaxing and cozy Restaurant the food is good but the portion sizes leave you wanting more for what they charge. Short ribs were delicious but it was just that a "Short rib", one. Do better Putnam.
My friends and I came here on a Saturday afternoon for their bottomless bunch, and the staff was amazing. Our server, Kim, was exTREMELY patient with our extrEMELY difficult friend who sent her order back maybe 3-4 times? Kim kept a positive attitude and assured that we were no bother (although I’m sure we were lol). Before leaving, we met Matt, Tia, and Minah, who were all very kind and funny. As locals, they gave us places to visit and honestly just tolerated my friends and I for a good hour after we’d already finished eating, haha. Overall, lovely staff. 11/10. Makes up for the food which I’ll give 7/10. But maybe it’s just because we’re from the south and nothing compares!
Cozy pub spot with nice staff. Good chicken & waffles, chicken & gravy, buffalo wings. The onion ring on the classic burger is a nice touch. Not so good mac & cheese, bland and gritty. Could be the type of cheese. Shoestring fries were all short pieces, otherwise average.
Lovely gastro pub in the heart of Clinton Hill. Cozy spot with delicious food and drinks and a great crowd. Nice happy hour specials. Def check out the oysters (yum). One of my fav bars in C.Hill.
I love Putnam’s but the food has really changed. As time goes by, there is less and less that is done well. Today’s Mac and Cheese inspired today’s review. It used to be so tasty, truffly and gooey, my absolute fave. This is not it. Still, I love this bar so much. Just not the food.
The lighting and counter areas were cozy and very pleasant. I enjoyed the layout. The Margheritas I had were great.
We came here on a Wednesday during Negroni Week. We noticed there was a comedy show happening downstairs, we were more eager for food. I got a mac & cheese and a Negroni. The entree was very cheesy and a great companion to my cocktail.
Went for brunch and had to Lemon ricotta pancakes with a blueberry compote and they were absolutely delicious, just the right amount of food. Waitstaff efficient and friendly. I sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather and quiet atmosphere, let it be known inside was quite loud though.
The quality of the food was satisfactory. However, upon our arrival, the customer in front of us was given the liberty to select their preferred seating area, which we were not granted. As we were about to leave, the space we had requested was assigned to another couple. I also ordered a Mcallen to no avail. Oh well. Too bad for my palate.
Been coming here for a couple of years and it seems like things are slowly getting worse. Food portions are small for the price my daughter was still hunger after eating the steaks frites. Service is terrible, this is the second time in two weeks that service has completely lacked. I have also seen this before here. There are better places in the neighborhood for pub food that is much better and bigger portions. Probably won’t be going back here. Caesar salad was way over dressed as well.
Wasn’t crazy about the food. The bar didn’t have any tequila or vodka which is weird for “Bar”… my sister ordered the fried chicken. Terrible mistake. And she ordered a drink that came half full. The fries were traaaaaash. I loved they allowed the dog to come in with us so that was the best perk. Won’t be back though
The ambiance and decor is really cozy and classy. The service is exemplary. Good draft list and great cocktails. However, despite the food being delicious, the portion sizes are such a rip off given the ridiculous prices. I've seen cheaper menus in Midtown. We paid $8 for a side of onion rings that came with six onion rings TOTAL. The Mac & cheese was $16 for a small ramekin. $8 to add less than an ounce of halloumi to a salad. Burgers are $15-$22 per and don't come with a side. I'd recommend it for a happy hour but steer clear of making dinner plans. Even if you don't mind the incredibly steep prices, chances are you'll leave hungry due to the stingy portions.
One is better off going to Brooklyn Public House. Better food, more authentic than this imitation pub. I only go here if BPH is too crowded. The food is ok, but the service is inconsistent. I would have spent more money, but I found one of the bartender’s to be rude. The other guy was chill, but when the next shift guy came in, the whole vibe changed.
11/28/2019: I attend college nearby, and have also been to a Yelp Elite Event that was hosted here in 2018. I've also visited here of my own accord with friends many times. They are a little bit on the pricier side but the quality of food each time I order has always been really good. Delicious tasting and fresh. Customer service is always really nice and accommodating to wherever I'd like to sit. Food is always delivered hot and promptly. Server always checks in an appropriate amount of time and overall I've yet to have a negative experience here. Nothing but good times, so I do recommend stopping by if you ever have the chance! Their interior is also very cozy feeling and they've got a speakeasy downstairs!!! 11/25/2020--> DURING COVID TIMES: Mac and cheese, chips, and a soda will run you $25 before tip. So college students beware. This place has gotten even more expensive thanks to covid. Like most restaurants, they've upped their prices but this place has always been on the $$$ side for the neighborhood. Just keep that in mind so your jaw doesn't drop when you see the prices. In fairness, I'm rather small as is my stomach space, so their portion sizes are just right for someone of my 5"3 stature. For those with more ravenous appetites just an FYI, they've cut down their menu significantly for lunch. Not sure about breakfast or dinner but I imagine it might be similar. During my most recent visit in late October it was rainy so I was grateful that limited capacity indoor dining returned. There was only one guy working, doubled up as the bartender. Told me to sit where I want and to order using the Toast app for contact-less ordering. You can scan the QR code that is taped to every table or just download it from your designated app store and search up the restaurant. I was having trouble paying for my order through the app so the waiter just took my order. I didn't get his name but he was suuuper nice. Very welcoming. This place has always had great and friendly customer service so that hasn't changed. Overall, I do miss the rest of their menu but their food quality is still high up on the bar which is great. Unfortunately I cannot afford to visit this place as much anymore but I highly urge you if you've got the means, to please support this local gastropub!!
🍔 Impossible burger: the black bean quinoa patty was crispy and pretty good but I wish they added more sauce to the burger. Fries were great. Definitely pricey though. 🥚 avocado toast with poached eggs- classic dish and my friend Ash really enjoyed it. You can’t go wrong with this one! . The food was alright for a quick bite. This is a decent brunch spot on Myrtle ave.
We had a burger ask for medium rare got served well we had the tasting menu ordered the fish n chips omg too much badder the salad was good and the dessert was well let just leave it 😁 also had martinis. And let just say mediocre at best the Atmosphere was good although wish this was a better place to go to
Nice spot for lunch in the Fort Greene area. Perfect if you need a spot to grab a bite and discuss business. Server was very kind, but the speed of service was very slow today. It took over 30 minutes for us to get out food and the restaurant was maybe only 1/8 at full capacity. I do know there were only two servers for the afternoon shift though, so it may have been a scheduling thing. Food is decent here, I had the Caesar salad which seemed to be missing parmesan and lemon and a good amount of pepper, but it was tasty once those things were added. It was nice of them to fry my chicken for the top though I know it's not normally on the menu. The crispy artichoke salad was very good as well. The lemonade here was a bit too tart for my friends, they had to add some grenadine to tone it down.
The online order and check system feels very fast and smooth! Max n cheese tastes quite good with a hint of truffle flavor on top. Although Bloody Mary feels like drinking diced tomato in water, the elements inside didn’t blend in well and beer tastes a bit flat. Putnam burger was cooked a bit over so it tastes dry even though I ordered medium. Very friendly to dogs.
Service absolutely terrible. The restaurant was half empty yet the blonde hostess with glasses made us wait 30 minutes for our table. She was very rude and curt. At our table, the waitress was also already upset at 11 in the morning, brought drinks out late and forgot a order for one of our party. The only highlights are the drinks and food but service I give 0 stars. Happy mothers day
Had a really awkward dining experience at this place. First, the hostess couldn’t have been less cordial. The place was pretty empty, it was like 730, and my bf and I were out on the sidewalk on our own. The waiter comes out, we had been looking at the menus for 5 minutes, and says well, it looks like you’re ready to order. We were not. We ordered a drink. He came back out without our drinks and said: do you want to go ahead and order food while they are making your drinks? I felt like we were at a counter serve restaurant and there was a line of 50 people behind us. We agree to hurry up and order, and he turns to my boyfriend first, all chummy. The food comes out almost simultaneously with our drinks, about 4 minutes later. Then the waiter comes back out about 12 mins later and asks my boyfriend if he wants some bread to go with his mussels. Meanwhile, my Caesar salad had a crouton and a half in it, and was overdressed and soggy. The waiter is obviously catering to him, thinking that he’s going to pay. It was so blatantly chauvinistic. Of course, when the guy realized that I was paying half, he immediately couldn’t have been nicer. What he doesn’t know is that my boyfriend isn’t that great of a tipper even for exemplary service; waiter was kissing the wrong a$$. We could not have gotten out of there sooner. Train your staff
Perpetual source of disappointment. I've been coming here for years since they opened. I always leave feeling either ripped off.. or unsatisfied. The food is good but their online menu is always different than the in house menu and always in a bad way. Prices are higher and way fewer options. They are trying to be a gourmet "gastro pub" of sorts but just can't really pull it off. Servers are competent and friendly. I think I'm done with this place. Too many better options in the neighborhood that do similar things waaaayyyy better. I'm just tired of being disappointed. In NYC you really don't need to revisit a place that is mediocre. Just sad because the ambiance is nice.
Very unwelcoming service at the bar… bartenders act like they’re doing you a favor by serving you, especially the lady with the lip piercing, didn’t even say bye just stared blankly and rushed to clean up after me as soon as I started getting off the stool. Young, inexperienced, and with an attitude.
I have been a loyal customer for several years, always enjoying my visits until today. A group of us came to celebrate the end of the school year and were seated promptly. However, our experience was marred by our waitress, Katherine, who was quite rude. She abruptly snatched my plate while I was still eating and seemed highly irritated when we asked questions about the drink options. To top it off, we were overcharged on some items. Regrettably, this experience has led us to seek out a new local spot for happy hour. It’s truly disappointing.
Sat for 10 mins at the bar and was never approached so I walked out. Wasn’t busy, just no attentiveness from whoever was bartending; if anyone. 9.18.25 @2:25 PM. Pathetic.
I never write google reviews, but my experience here was bad enough I feel compelled to write one. I dined here and sat at the bar. I was excited to try the food and drinks as I had heard good things. The female bartender who serving me had a terrible attitude and made me and my friend feel uncomfortable. I will not mention her by name, which i was able to figure out- but she has curly brown hair and was short/squat in stature. She basically threw the drinks we ordered at us (which are not cheap) same with menus. She rolled her eyes as we ordered and never checked in on us. Asking for some extra napkins seemed like a huge chore for her. She was talking about us to her coworker and in general just had a miserable attitude. I could understand a short demeanor if the bar was busy or if we were needy, but there were only a few people in the place- I can now see why. I understand people have bad days and serving industry can be difficult, I worked as an NYC bartender for over 30 years and am still at it! I just don’t like being belittled and demeaned by staff so unnecessarily when I am an easy and paying customer! Needless to say I will not be dining here again.
it was my first time here i’m from minnesota my friend brought me here for brunch , our server (half black and white hair)had no idea what she was doing and checked on us one time after putting in our food order and that was to tell us she was leaving and that we would get a new server , we never got a new server and was always looking around for someone to see when we would get a new server and no one came , the only helpful person was the african american man in the striped shirt he was always there to help us and get us what we needed and it seemed like he was the manager , food was great but otherwise it was a annoying experience
I came here for my cousin's wedding reception and I was highly disappointed with the service, drinks and food. The bartender was rude slow and made terrible drinks. the service was so terrible people had to go upstairs to the restaurant to order drinks. The Buffalo wings were slimy and just wack. Overall it is a great place to take pictures but that's it I will not be back
