Rocco's Brooklyn Reviews
treated us like family (: Chicken, bacon, ranch pizza was good!
Great pizza and thanks to Izzie for taking us there!
Good Pizza and better service! Had a plain slice, and a slice of Sicilian with Pepp. Both very good. My mom had the “small” chicken parm entree. Her small plate was very generous. The guys at Rocco’s did a great job. I would definitely go back.
I ordered Sicilian Square pizza and it was good. I also had the argula salad with grilled chicken and the salad was super good. A top notch salad. I strongly recommend this place.
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine. I ordered the small plain pizza. It was average in taste and the pie has 8 slices. The 8 slices are cut into 8 small slices. The side order of meatballs includes a portion of 3 nice sized ones. They are firm in consistency. The eggplant parmigiana hero has a good size and tastes good. The lasagna was well-prepared. Friendly and helpful staff.
Located in the heart of Bay Ridge Brooklyn, this pizza shop has OK pizza. Nothing bad, but nothing over the top good. It's a nice stop if walking around the area. I tried the Sicilian and Grandma slice. I felt both had the same tasting sauce, which was on the salty side. I think the regular sacilian thicker crust helped balance it better, and foe a $1 less was the better value.
I recently visited Rocco’s Pizzeria, and unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to expectations. The pizza lacked the flavor and crispness I was hoping for, and I was disappointed with the overall taste. The crust didn’t have the right texture, and the toppings didn’t feel as fresh as I would have liked. The service was fine, but the pizza itself didn’t match the quality I was hoping for. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it for those looking for a memorable pizza experience.
Big difference from few years ago when I last went to Rocco's. Renovated dining room nicely but food was meh at best. Ordered calamari, was salty and clearly was frozen, then chicken parmigiana, asked for rigatoni w vodka on side, which came overcooked and ultimately charged 2 bucks extra for vodka sauce that I wasn't told about when I asked. Finally a sad iceberg lettuce salad with 3 slices of cucumber and 4 cherry tomatoes on top completed this unfortunate experience.
Purchased a calzone and dough was raw! Will never order from here again 👎🏾
Rocco’s fell off hard in recent years. I’m not sure if it changed owners, but it feels like a completely different place. I ordered a couple of plain slices, chicken rolls, and mozzarella sticks today. To be blunt, the food was disgusting and I threw it all out after a couple of bites. This place is another example of NYC pizzerias living off of the name of being a NYC pizzeria. Sad but true, a frozen pizza is better than this place.
Pizza looked good but the server is racist! When is was my turn to order he took to order from the person behind me that has the same color skin as he do. Never ever going there again!
