Rusty Nail Brooklyn Brooklyn Reviews
I just stopped by this fantastic bar today for the first time for food and drinks. My Habanero Mango Margarita and Bloody Mary are probably the best I have had at any bar. They had a special guest pop up for food courtesy of Chef Bryan Lindsay. The food was utterly spectacular. The bartender was so nice and friendly and the bar itself was so cute and clean. Highly recommend and will definitely stop by again!
Great little bar in Ditmas Park. Solid bartender who made quality mixed drinks the day we were there. Cool atmosphere. Did not get a chance to try the food, but will definitely go back!
Food and drink were yummy!!! service excellent. I love this place
Amazing food, great friendly staff and very fun atmosphere!
I like this place. Cool music is playing, I liked the beer that was suggested to me. Nice to waste time here.

Lovely Local Bar! Hubby and I would occasionally stop for their known frozen margaritas. We also tried the food from Downtown Jonnie that’s attached to the Bar, which is amazing. We tried the Jerk chicken Tacos and the shrimp tacos. Lovely spot. Definitely going back. Only wish they had a better selection on music.
So happy to have a local spot in the Foster/Newkirk area. Huge selection of beers, including gluten-free! Food from Memphis Seoul was pretty good too, but would have been nice to be able to bring BBQ sauce back to the table, as the meat was a bit dry. Bartender was super nice, knew a ton about beer, and the vibes got better as people started filling it up around 7pm on a Wednesday! Their signature cocktail was great, too! And strong!!!
Foos was cooked perfectly, and the drinks were quick... fries were hand cut and they have a separate fryer for meat! And as a previous chef, that is rare. Not mention how knowledgeable and ontop the kitchen. Overall one of my best restaurant experiences in NYC
amazing music!! vibes were soooo great and i loved the bartender!!!!
very fun place with a lot of board games to play. the music was on point, the beer was cold and the whole vibe was very nice. we'll definitely come back. the food by Comfort Sisters was a highlight! we tried the quesadillas and the mushroom sandwich and both were delicious.
Fun local watering hole with a fair happy hour beer + well shot.
What a neighborhood gem. Cocktails here are really great. Creative, well balanced. At least during the summer on extended weekends (Thurs -Sun) there is food and kids are allowed which is honestly why it's taken us so many months to visit - we weren't sure! Highly recommend and we will be back.
I've been there several times. It is a charming local spot. In summer they have outside seating. They also have games to play. Drinks are generously poured, and staff is always friendly. Food is provided by a separate kitchen. Always a nice place to have drinks and chat with friends or relaxed date.
Perfect neighborhood bar, not too clean, not too divey, it's juuuuuust right. Drinks are good, people are so nice, the kitchen in the back is amazing.
Great neighborhood bar - maybe even a little bit of a destination bar. Great cocktails - not just the usual standards but some unique creations. A really good menu of burgers, including turkey and beyond. Killer french fries too. Definitely coming back!

I really liked this place. The food and drinks were amazing, I got the beyond meat burger 😍 it was perfect! Very well priced meaning affordable lol. Outside seating was very comfortable. Definitely going back.

This place has been a welcome go-to for years. Recently though a lot more smoking under the outdoor seating shed. Signs all over politely ask people to smoke on the curb. Have had to leave several times lately because of the smoke. They are losing a good bit of my business now.
This is a nice place to have drinks with friends. Great drinks with matching service. I recommend the eponymous Rusty Nail cocktail. Absolutely delicious. The lemon pepper wings left a lot to be desired though.

They make a decent long island ice tea. A very nice outdoor atmosphere.

I usually enjoy coming to this bar and have had great times here in the past. Unfortunately, my most recent visit wasn’t a good experience. The bartender seemed intoxicated or under the influence, kept forgetting our drinks, and even stepped outside for about 20 minutes while customers were waiting. This isn’t the first time she does this, I’ve stopped by during the week and she did it too. I really hope management looks into this because this place is usually one of my favorites.
While we did not get to try the food here the atmosphere for the outdoor seating was amazing. Games to play inside and music was on point. Shame the bartender would be one of the worst bartenders I have ever encounter. Rude, dismissive and aggressive. Asked for a beverage was told if I don’t see it we don’t have it. Simple no we don’t carry would have done just fine. She then proceeded to rush me to order while I was reviewing the options like I was instructed to do. Now I know why everyone was outside.
