Saketumi Asian Bistro Brooklyn Reviews
Excellent food in modest location. This place is a gem. High quality sushi and reliable service plus reasonable prices and an unpretentious atmosphere. I get both takeout and dine in.
We love coming to Saketumi. The food is excellent and the sashimi is always perfect but our very favourite thing is the waitstaff! They are so kind and make a huge effort to entertain our toddler and make sure that he has a great time. Highly recommend getting the Bento box dinner as well as the sake jelly shots.
I'm telling all my friends they need to try this place. The employees pair their friendly attitudes with good looks. You can taste the care in fresh preparation. This place fulfilled my dining wishes. To be direct: Saketumi Asian Bistro is wonderful.
Stopped by for a solo quick bite before an event in the neighborhood. The waitstaff were super warm and attentive. Since it was the day before LNY, they wished me a happy new year! I had the dinner bento w. beef negimaki and tofu teriyaki. The portion size is large. On a separate note, they really care for their customers. They even went out of their way to call a cab for a regular who had a little too much to drink.
LOVE THIS SPOT! The food is amazing, the service is quick and the space is perfect for a date. This is the best pad Thai I’ve had and I’m not a huge pad Thai fan but this one was delicious. We also had their sushi maki rolls and basil fried rice and the chef did not miss a beat! If you are in the area treat yourself to dinner! The prices are super affordable.
This place is absolutely amazing. The staff is incredibly nice and courteous; the food is also equally amazing. The prices are decent and the plate presentation is actually very nice. The only thing I would suggest is making the portions bigger. Overall it was an awesome dinning experience
We were happy to receive such a great amount of food for a fantastic price range. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable, and although we did come at a quiet mid day hour, wait staff was attentive and extremely kind! The tempura udon had perfect flavors and a mild, tasty broth. Really warmed me up on this cold Autumn day. I'll definitely come again here for some comfort and food relaxation.
Probably one of the most disappointing dinners I had here. Looking at the menu the rack of lamb was recommended as the restaurant specialty. Prepared with red wine sauce. I had great expectations. “Grilled Lamb Rack With Red Wine Sauce Dinner Specialty. $23.95” What I got was a far cry from that description. A cold, over cooked, dry and hard pieces of lamb ribs over some greens. Claiming it to be the “House Specialty” made that disappointment worse. (Unfortunately I took the pictures after I dosed the poor dead lamb with the sauce in an attempt to revive it)
I came in during lunch time and I was ordering from the lunch menu. When I was confirming whether the order I was making was a lunch special the guy at the counter got very snappy and told me I need to tell him in advance its a lunch special. I look at my credit card statement today and I was charged $40 compared to $13 of what I was supposed to be charged.
