Samurai Sushi Brooklyn Reviews
I love sushi, but this was the most wonderful amazing sushi restaurant I've been to! It's very authentic and the music choice is great! Thank you Danica for the amazing service. Me and my friends will be sure to visit again 😆
First time here even though it's been around for years. And I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised! The staff was great the food was super delicious especially the beef teriyaki. I definitely recommend it! My son absolutely loved his dinosaur sushi rolls. Presentation was Great.. Helps that staff was super sweet to a non sushi person like myself.. 🙏
Love this neighborhood sushi joint. It’s officially my new favorite for sushi in the area, dethroning Chikurin (which I still have a place in my heart for) for reasons below: ⭐️The staff are very attentive, checking in multiple times throughout the meal to fill our tea and ask if we needed anything. ⭐️Seating is cozy, particularly the tables adjacent to the wall with seat cushions. I like the relaxed atmosphere here. Yes the space is on the smaller side (I think 5 tables?) but that’s what I like - you have the full attention of the waitstaff and less distraction, which means you can devote your attention to enjoying the meal. ⭐️Portions are very generous and the cooked food (particularly Udon) is a sleeper hit! I’ve never had high expectations for these 86st sushi restaurants particularly on cooked / non-sushi dishes, but wow the Tempura udon and Nabeyaki udon are both flavorful, have a great variety of ingredients, and well-presented!! Great value for the $14 price tag. Comes with salad. ⭐️Sushi is good for what it is. Ofc, this is 86 st so set expectations accordingly. We’ve tried salmon avocado, eel avocado, spicy tuna, and california rolls and all were solid - on par with Chikurin. Not overly stuffed with rice which is good. Highly recommend stopping by for your next casual neighborhood hangout! You won’t be disappointed.
I came here with my good friend to celebrate her birthday, the sushi here is amazing, the food is very fresh and tasty , reasonable prices , and the service is also great! Thanks for the kind ,friendly, working hard team,We had good experience here. I recommended it to everyone! Definitely I would come back again!
4.75 Overall. Great flavor, not overly salty like most Japanese restaurants. Smaller portions for lower prices which is great so I can try more items. The Asparagus Roll is interesting, never had something like it before. It’s more of like sliced chinese picked cucumber wrap in a roll. Would return if in the area. Great price, value and taste. A comfortable place to relax and dine.
This place blew my mind the moment I stepped inside this place. 5 stars without a doubt, and let me tell you why: 1) The ambiance within the restaurant is INCREDIBLE! If you see the pictures I attached, the seating of this restaurant, the view, and the how amazing the place is, astonished me. This place went above and beyond in regards to looks and prettiness. 2) The miso soup is very unique from the other 99% of sushi places in Brooklyn, NY. If you see the picture I attached, the miso soup looks different, and it was a lot tastier than other sushi places in Brooklyn! It was a lot more savory. 3) The sushi is fresh, hands down. The salmon and yellowtail I ordered were simply delicious. 4) The beef soba was very delicious as well, and it comes with deliciously cooked and seasoned beef, along with noodles and soup. It also came with a cheap salad! 5) THE PRICES ARE EXTREMELY CHEAP! I am serious when I say this, because the prices on the menu are a LOT cheaper than other standard sushi places in Brooklyn. 6) The waitress attending my friends and I was so nice! She constantly refilled our tea and would ask us from time to time if everything was okay. She was the sweetest. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for fresh sushi, or just a savory bowl of noodle soup.
The workers are cool. Quick eats would be here. The guy that makes the sushi rolls, has fast hands lol and good memories. Remember my order once I enter. The workers are respectful. Give them a try.
The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered the hibachi scallops which included fried rice. The scallops were mixed with various vegetables in a brown sauce. The sushi deluxe consisted of ten pieces with a California roll. The eel avocado roll was good. The sushi was fresh and well-prepared. The restaurant has been in business for approximately twenty years. Friendly and helpful staff.
• Our order was packed professionally and secure • 2 Bento box dinners with tax includes cost us $33.50 which I think is a good value. • They happily substituted a fried side dish for a healthier option which was not on the menu. • The Sushi rolls were rolled badly, which would explain that the chef either was reckless or inexperienced, nevertheless it tasted delicious.
Food was terrible no flavor they put all the food in the same tray for delivery. Some people are allergic to seafood. I wouldn’t advise eating food here. Cheap and no effort put into the food go elsewhere if you want value for your money.
I’m really disappointed by their special lunch rolls. California and spicy kani rolls were not look like what they should like they were cooked like 2 days ago!! Please avoid this place before get poisoned! Never ever will order and even not gonna walk by this place!!! Guys please go back to sushi master class to get your cooking education updated!!! Stay refreshed helps you to make fresh sushi again!!
