At San Remo Pizzeria, we've been serving up neighborhood favorites for over 30 years. We're a casual eatery where specialty pies meet pasta and salads, all in the heart of Brooklyn's vibrant Cortelyou Road. Our customers rave about our perfectly cooked crusts and generous toppings. The cozy atmosphere is reminiscent of a classic Italian trattoria, with warm lighting and rustic decor that makes you feel like you're in for a treat. San Remo Pizzeria Brooklyn Reviews
Classic NYC style pizza. Old school brick oven. Tons of variations of PIZZA. Of course, the mama Sicilian square is crispy on the bottom with a nice delightful top. You won’t be disappointed.
Got the vegan chicken parm delivered and it was tasty. The vodka sauce pasta is also good
I got a slice of zucchini, mushroom, & cherry tomatoes, and it tasted delicious. The crust was perfect. Crunchy, but chewy and thin. Definitely going back for their pizza and will try their spinach rolls.
Amazing place for well fresh and hot pizza! Been going here for years now and it was never low quality. The people are very nice and here and welcoming! Definitely recommend!
Love San Remo Pizza! Lived in the neighborhood almost 30 years now and love this place. The food is delicious everyone is friendly and attentive. If you’re looking to have a good meal and even better pizza San Remo is the spot. I always buy extra because someone always wants some :D
I've been walking by here for weeks making a mental note to come in. I'm finally here and the first thing I feel is the family atmosphere. Talked about wrestling for a second with Al and David 👍👍. I felt genuinely welcomed. Checked out the menu and got me a baked zitti. Another custom also expressed her approval of the food and people who work here. I DEFINITELY plan on being a consistent customer. I highly recommend to any and all who are looking for a small but friendly place to eat and enjoy yourself. I can't wait to get that lasagna pizza!!!! 👍👍🍕🍕😋
Have you eaten at San Remo Pizzeria Restaurant established in 1976 in Brooklyn, New York? It was a busy little place! My first pitstop after arriving in New York. Classic New York style… And I enjoyed watching the Bizzy pizzeria do their thing. Went from Maryland to New York, about 181 mile to pick up my wife. I stayed at an Airbnb in Brooklyn. So after unpacking I walked around a bit and my first meal I had was at a local pizza joint, SAN REMO Pizzeria & Restaurant. I just looked around, watched people coming in and ordering! It was NY! It had that Atmosphere, attitude, the pizza joint hustle. Pizzas looked great! They had a good selection. And they were 21 inch pies! They were whipping out pizzas, the guy at the register was singing and humming a tune. No music playing. But everyone had there roll. I got a few different slices. I was hoping to come back again, time flew by. Was it worth it? Yesss! Definitely! I went to a few other pizza joints around but they didn’t have the spunk, attitude, atmosphere, and quality this joint had! #newyorkpizza #brooklynnewyork #pizzeria #nystylepizza
My childhood pizzeria. I’ve been going here since I was a little kid in the 90s. Coincidentally enough, San Remo has the best tasting pizza that I’ve had in all of NYC (I’m not being biased just because this place is sentimental to me). Their pizza is so yummy and saucy and cheesy 🤤 the staff is so kind and welcoming. I moved to Jersey but always come here when I’m in the area. I love this place so much! P.S., the pizza in the picture is with extra cheeeese
It's not the nicest looking restaurant along Cortelyou – the room at the back is a bit dark, and the tables make it feel really casual, more like a diner – but my goodness the food is good. We had a mini pizza to share (perfect size as an appetizer) and two of the pasta dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious tasting. The prices are good, the waitress was really lovely, and they're family friendly.
What pizzeria say NO to making pizza!?!?!? So these guys are very very lazy. I am calling early in the day. To have them make me a chicken broccoli slice. They said they dont do that. But i gotten it twice before. Im tired of their laziness. Horrible service
We ordered a pie for delivery. The website states $12 when I called was told it’s not correct the pie is $20. I ordered. In less than 10 minutes the bell rang. It was the delivery. I paid and tipped $6 when I opened the box we were immediately aware the pie was not made fresh! It was cold! I called and informed the pie was not fresh I was informed it was fresh and just pulled out the oven before packaging and delivery. I said it was pulled out the oven 4 hours ago.. that’s it. Won’t order again. Integrity + professionalism = trust and returning customer..
Ordered $40 delivery and the food came with not one utensil or napkin. I called to see if I can have some delivered and he said “it is what it is” and that I had to request utensils.. I didn’t request for it to be packed and bagged but it was done, why? Because it’s obvious standard procedure! And I even told the guy on the first phone call I was in my tuck so why do I need to say more ?? Horrible service
I’d give zero. The workers are so rude that I actually asked for the owner. I live around the corner and I have seldom ordered from them for this reason. I asked to speak to the owner, but the workers seem to think they are the owners. Rockys on Coney Island ave got my business, and that’s about 5k per year. This place just has a good spot, not good food or staff.
Terrible experience. The owner had an attitude. It’s very small & dingy in the establishment. I bought 1 pepperoni slice for $4.68 which was ridiculous. Especially when it tasted like it’d been out for hours and just put it in the oven. It’s not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend.
