Best vegan pizza! Crust is perfect and slices are huge.

I am very pleased that a place such as Sauce and Soda exists. We were out having drinks on a Friday night, and Sauce and Soda presented itself as a lifesaver to us. Being Angelenos, it's VERY hard to find ANYTHING that is open IN-STORE after 10 or 11pm...even on the weekend!! We were so happy to find this establishment while walking between bars and starting to feel very hungry! Also, it doesn't hurt that the pizza here is also EXCELLENT! Having visited L'Industrie earlier in the week, which I absolutely LOVED, I was very pleasantly surprised to find the pizza slices here to be quite comparable in taste, quality, and size. It's also a very bright, open, warm, and welcoming space within. Service was prompt and efficient, if not a tad bit curt...although I give them grace...considering the fact we were visiting late at night around 2am. Anyways...if it was THAT good when we went in the middle of the night...I feel I can confidently recommend this spot as great for grabbing pizza slices. It's definitely worth a visit, in my book!

Ziad made the most perfect off the menu specialty pizza. He truly provided a top notch service. We experienced the sauce AND the soda. 10/10. Ask for the Ziad special next time you go!

I recently had an amazing experience at sauce and soda! They got the sauce and the soda. The pizza was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of toppings and a crispy crust. What really stood out, though, was the fantastic customer service. Bryan went above and beyond to make sure that my beautiful Salvadorena wife and I had everything we needed and made us feel welcomed. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for the best pizza in NYC and exceptional service! Five stars all the way!

Near the subway station Jefferson off the L line. It was convenient for me, I didn’t want to walk to the pizzeria I usually frequent. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I was very skeptical about how good the pizza will be just based on how it looked. Surprisingly the pizza was amazing. Very crunchy and the tomato sauce was very robust and flavorful. Don’t mind the garlic powder, I was accidentally a little heavy handed. Indoor seating is available, but I took it to go. The crust was also thin and crunchy which I loved, I only eat it when it’s done this way. At just under 5 bucks, the price could be better but I’d say it’s comparable to the prices in area. They do accept card.

some cool pizza guys right here! first time coming here. it was a hard decision to choose between the vegan pepperoni & veggie slice but in the end the sicilian slice looked too good i couldn’t pass up. the garlic knots are so yummmy & fluffy

can only speak for the plain cheese pizza slices aka “The Rita” — that said, pizza in Bushwick is in safe hands at Sauce and Soda. the slices are on the larger side bc the pies are 20” so the slices are a bit more substantial. the crust is on the crispier side so it has a bit of crunch and flakiness but still a firm airy charred crust that holds up a flavorful tomato sauce and a thin layer of melted mozzarella. the balance of thinness of the slices while still remaining relatively solid and not flopping is a great balance for a delivery of sauce, cheese, and crust. there are a variety of slices here on top of of non-pizza items but i say order the plain ‘zza and enjoy the beauty of simplicity. the interior is very very clean. there is seating by the window and small tables that line one side of the pizzeria. the pizza shop is brightly lit and welcoming while still having a modern vibe / look. the service has been quick & friendly and they make sure your slices come out hot not lukewarm.

Big slices and variety of options. I think the slice was about $5 something. Very crispy crust, which I loved. Bit oily for my taste but the veggie toppings were good.

Had a large regular slice and a vegan slice with mushrooms. Both were delicious. Seating is limited so I only recommend sitting for groups of 2. They offer takeout and had so many people picking up orders.

I really enjoyed the garlic knots here and the selection of bottled soda. Beer is here too, a broad menu and lots of pizzas to choose from. Staff is friendly and nice. Clean inside seating area!

Stopped by to get a slice of vegan pizza. The portion was large with just a few slices of peppers and onions. Would have wished it was loaded with veggies as the other regular pizzas. The vegan cheese was very similar to violife cheese. Paid $6.50 for mine, my sister paid $3.50 for a plain regular cheese pizza.

Only been once and got this roni slice. Some reviews have complained of it being burnt, but I really think pizza is better on the medium to well done side. The slices are huge and a good value. Also it’s quite tasty and has the smaller cupping pepperonis. Structurally the slice is so big and the crust so thin that I couldn’t just hold the slice to eat, had to fold the plate and eat it off the edge. I will definitely try the other slices.

Yeah this pizza isn't worth 550 for a pepperoni slice, the sauce is disgusting and the dough taste like its from Domino's, I've walked by many times and it's pretty packed usually. I finally decided to give it a try and im very disappointed. I would say this was a $2 slice from in the city if I was blindfolded and told it wasn't from Domino's. I do not recommend.

I’ve stopped in for slices here and they’re always good, so we thought we would try takeout. The pizza hadnt finished cooking, cheese wasn’t melted and the bottom was soggy. Had to throw it back in the oven. A bit ridiculous for a city that boasts the best pizza.

I gave Sauce and Soda 3stars cause you can't give 2 and a half stars. I usually try a place two times before I give a review, but I don't know if I'm going to with Sauce and Soda. The sauce was too salty and acidic, and the crust had a burnt taste, so i didn't eat it. They got really good reviews, I was looking forward to it, but the taste just wasn't for me. MAYBE I'll try them again, but not any time soon.

First off, Sauce and Soda is our go-to because the pizza is normally AMAZING. However, tonight's experience was not good. I placed my order through the Slice app. We ordered a large pie and a chicken parmesan hero. I promptly received a call to tell me they didn't have bread for the hero, and that they were unable to refund me. I requested they just use the remaining ingredients to make me a small chicken parm pizza, and they did. Pretty simple request to ask of any pizzeria. However, they burned the pizza so badly that I couldn't eat it. I did try to down one slice but it tasted like charcoal. We had to wait an hour to receive this mess, too. I called Sauce and Soda in hopes of them making it right, but the person who answered the call couldn't speak English well enough to communicate with me.

The grandma slice was cold. I was going to ask them to reheat it, but my daughter said it was fine for her since she didn’t want it too hot. Still, it was a bit disappointing that they served cold pizza. A guy who was already eating there had the same issue and had to get a refund. The pizza isn’t very good either.

This place is quite disappointing. I got a slice of pepperoni pizza on a Friday evening and it just tasted bad. The dough was overcooked and every bite had a charred flavor. Given the number of pizza joints in Bushwick, I'd definitely go somewhere else.

I recently ordered a Nutella pizza and was curious to see how it was made, so I watched the process from the kitchen. After the dough was cooked, a staff member took it to the back to continue preparing my pizza. However, I noticed that the person didn’t wash their hands or put on gloves before handling the food. I even saw them licking their fingers and scratching their head during the process. This raised some concerns for me, as it seemed like basic hygiene practices weren’t being followed. I decided not to accept the order because of what I had witnessed. The staff didn’t seem to acknowledge the issue, which left me a bit uneasy about the overall hygiene in the kitchen. Food safety is really important to me, and I hope the restaurant can take this feedback into account to ensure a better experience for future customers

I don’t want to be mean, but after 6 years in NYC that was by a long mile, the worst slice I’ve ever had. Cardboard has more flavor. It was quick though.

I came in about 1 am for a two regular cheese slices. This was the worst slice of pizza I’ve ever had in New York. Both slices were burnt. Not to mention i also got food poisoning. I opted out of going to a street vendor for tacos next time I’ll know better.

The service in this place is the worse! I walked into this establishment well dressed with a friend. We asked for 3 slices with Italian sausage. The female behind the counter tried to convince us to order a pie. After telling her 3 times we only wanted those three slices, she spoke to her male coworker in spanish asking him do we make slices like that. He replied back in spanish, "Of course we do". I am fluent in spanish so I said to both of them in spanish that I had ordered this sane order here before a few times with no problems. The male worker once again said of course. I thought speaking to them in spanish would erase any language barriers....but it didn't help. Three clients later, that client asked for 4 slices with sausage and peperoni. They immediately began working on that clients order by making a sausage and peperoni pie. Everyone else that came after us got their order and left. When the sausage and peperoni pie was complete, they handed that client his 4 slices of sausage and peperoni then handed me and my friend 3 of the remaining slices of the pie. By this time, we had been there for about 30 minutes and looked at the two workers there confused and disgusted. I told them I never said anything about peperoni. In my opinion they just made what was easiest for them. They never apologized or tried to fix the mistake. Ironically I had to order a whole regular pie in addition to this and as soon as I stood up they ran to get the pie and get me out of there as fast as possible. Horrible service, horrible treatment. Dont waste your time going here.

if i could describe this shop in one word it would be… Wow! i can honestly say this is some of the worst pizza ive ever had. there’s more cornmeal than flour in the dough. the overall flavor is extremely one note - overly sweet cheap sauce. pies are old and stale. you’re better off ordering Dominos the place itself was unkept with trash and plates strewn about. tables were dirty and the service was unfriendly.
