Tete A Tete Brooklyn Reviews
Great service and such a cozy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, and everything feels very welcoming. Best service. The steak omelette is absolutely delicious, and the syrniki are simply outstanding. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to which is what I am doing
Incredible experience with our server Vova, he made sure that we were well taken care of and the service was absolutely exquisite. Excellent food, drinks, and atmosphere for any night out
Honestly, this is one of the best spots out in Sheepshead Bay. The coffee is excellent and the desserts are always a hit, but it’s really the service that keeps us coming back. Huge shout-out to Vasiliy (the guy with the curly hair). He’s a great guy who actually cares about the customers and makes a phenomenal latte. If you’re in the area, you definitely need to stop by.
Tete-a-tete is my favorite place! I go there quite often, and I honestly love everything about it — from the amazing coffee to the excellent service provided by the staff. On weekends, it’s the only spot I choose to go clubbing. Thank you for such a high level of service and care for your guests! 💫❤️
This cozy café, managed by Konstantin, offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with a great variety of food and drinks. The menu includes hearty entrées, fresh salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and indulgent desserts beautifully displayed in the glass case. Their drink selection is extensive, from classic coffees to iced lattes and fresh juices. Seating is limited but intimate, making it a nice spot to relax. Overall, it’s a charming place with tasty offerings and friendly vibes.
Wow, my exhibition has come to an end. And I want to separately thank everyone who supported me, inspired me, performed. In this post, I want to once again thank to Oleg Novikov and his team, headed by the Chef Maxim Tvorogov! This is the best catering in New York. When I opened the tray and each small dish was decorated with such love and flowers (even echoed my works) I was very touched and pleasantly surprised! The team of chefs worked all night to create the atmosphere and mood for the guests of the art space Brooklyn Art Cave. It worked out more than a hundred percent! I am infinitely grateful to you. Come back with a return visit and my best recommendations for Cafe/Lounge Tete-A-Tete
Amazing place with a Russian twist. The food was amazingly delicious and fresh. I came specifically from Staten Island to this place. DJ Daniel is awesome. The Borsch and Pelmeni were out of this world fresh and delicious. The drinks were made to perfection. Bartender Andrey is amazing. The lychee martini is awesome. Moscow mule is a classic. Bloody Russian Andrey made is rocking. Kalinka Malinka drink is amazing. Loved every minute in this place. Also the Hookah with mint is awesome. This place is great.
This is the only store where I visited twice prior to posting a review because I wanted to provide close to a full picture of this hidden gem. Visit 1: 10AM Saturday Brunch We did not have a reservation but were able to get a seat pretty quickly. Store is two levels, first floor is a take out cafe with desserts, second floor is the restaurant with a bar. As you can see from the pictures, dining area is beautifully set up and the environment is just lovely for brunch. I ordered an Americano and my friend ordered a “freshly squeezed green apple juice”. It’s in quotes because I made fun of her for ordering it. But it turned out to be so pretty in this emerald color. The table next to us asked what we ordered and ended up getting one as well. I really recommend the chicken fingers, it’s not the school lunch kind of chicken fingers you imagine when you think of this dish. It was crispy and delightful, served with a sauce that tasted like honey mustard. My friend ordered an omelette and I ordered the French toast with berries. Both turned out amazing. The potatoes that came with the omelette were was perfectly flavored and crispy. Visit 2: Friday night dinner around 5PM Walked in again without a reservation, was seated quickly and told that we only have the table for 2 hours which was enough for us. Different from brunch, at night the place turns into a hookah lounge w. dinner service. If you do not like the smell of smoke or hookah, I wouldn’t recommend going at night. If you don’t mind it, this might just be your next favorite go to spot! We ordered two drinks, a Russian Viagra and a Passion Fruit Martini. When the bar tender brought the drinks to us it was filled all the way to the rims and she said “I was being too generous”. We both thought she meant the amount but after we took a sip we understood she meant the amount of alcohol lol. Simply delicious. We got a beef tartar appetizer and it’s very different than your average beef tartar where the meat is raw and bright red. Here, they seasoned the raw meat before hand in a sweet marinade and added finely chopped onions into the tartar. Dish is served with toasts (wasn’t enough and we had to ask for more which the waiter gave for no problem). For us it tasted much better than the generic beef tartar, definitely would order again. Lastly, we ordered a brisket with mashed potatoes. It wasn’t very good and tasted like frozen diner food. Would not recommend. Give it a try the next time you are itching brunch or just some chill time with hookah and friends!
Very cozy local cafe with great food and service, even dance music in PM time some weekends. One huge minus: the smoke from hookahs in the dining area will give you headache if you are not into this. I would leave the hookahs for downstairs only to have access to fresh air faster and have a ventilation needed. Upstairs it seems to be stuck with you even though the smoke area is divided. It's a huge turn off for many as I have heard. Otherwise -One of my favorite places in the area!
A gem in Brooklyn!! Hookah lounge, restaurant, and bar on the top floor. Cafe/bakery on the bottom floor. Went on a Thursday night for dinner and everything we got was amazingly delicious. And because it was Thursday night it wasn’t too busy and everything came out at a very reasonable speed as well!! Definitely need to come back, and would definitely recommend!
I enjoyed cozy atmosphere, good service and great food presentation. Definitely cool vibes! Their drinks and coffees are amazing, and food is good but not great for me personally. My smoked salmon omelet was on the dry side, and the salad that it was served with didn’t have any dressing on it.
People was telling me they have best shakahushka.. first of all I waited 40 min for order.. and shakshushka made of tomato paste instead or real tomatoes.. definitely not eating that again
I was in the area on a Saturday morning and decided to get coffee and a quick breakfast here. There was only one person ahead of me when I arrived. I ordered an omlette and it somehow took over 40 minutes to make for something I could've made better at home. Did they have to get the chickens to lay their eggs or something? My caramel latte had so much syrup in it that I couldn't taste any coffee. Extremely disappointed.
