It was delight on my visit and would go back again if in NYC . It was also nice to have to lovers rock reggae playing in the background giving the nostalgic vibes and overall experience of being back in The Caribbean

When I went to MandP carribean restaurant and ordered a large curry goat meal with rice and peas and cabbage absolutely amazing the goat was tender and seasoned to perfection. 10/10 service and amazing atmosphere if you are looking for authentic jamaican food I definitely recommend
Yummy and quick. I was hungry and in a rush. Stopped in and grabbed veggie patties, jerk chicken, and salt fish for me and my boo. 🤍 my belly and taste buds loved the veggie.

Incredibly cheap food for 2025. Sometimes not the freshest later in the day but still good and it's SO cheap compared to literally everything around
The owner she is so nice, always got a smile and she’s very cheerful, she even blessed it with an oxtail patty right when came last minute. Oxtail and jerk chicken pasties are insane

Brand new patty spot on Flatbush, it was a great shame when Jamaican pride closed recently but this should be a very nice replacement. Nice bake on the patties and I'm looking forward to trying each kind. So far I had the curry chicken, beef, and vegetable.
Popped in randomly and was immediately greeted with good vibes. Customers and servers were lovely, great first impressions. They have a good variety of food, and at 4pm a lot was still available. The fresh sorrel and ginger juice (proper JA style) was delicious and stayed cold for ages, the ackee patty hit the spot and even the cornmeal porridge that late was good. This is clearly a loved local spot, the prices are very good and food is fresh. I'll be back for a soursop juice later :)

I appreciate them trying to fill the void but because it's called The Patty Shop I expected these patties to be phenomenal. I got akee and jerk and I was disappointed by both. They reflect patties I would make at home they lacked that crispy outerlayer. The taste and body was light. Ackee patty was flimsy, missing density. The flavor was lacking -especially in a carribean dense neighborhood. I will try them again, just in case i caught a bad batch.

No veg patty ever, nice staff but not much for vegans or vegetarian.
Oxtails didn’t look the best, they appeared dry and weren’t sitting in enough gravy. They were nice enough to give me a sample which was appreciated. Though the flavor was there, it was too spicy imo. I went elsewhere for oxtails.

Love the idea of the variety of patties. I tried the oxtail and Ackee patties and unfortunately both were incredibly dry. They didn't go to waste as my dog ate them without haste. The owner seems nice enough as he served me bricks. Not sure if I'll be back to try anything else.

A friend of mind wanted to eat some beef patties for lunch and we came across this place on Flatbush. I saw some stew chicken patties on the menu and was intrigued. I also got the jerk patty, and the oxtail patty. I guess it depends on the time of day you get them but the oxtail patty wasn’t that great but it was okay. Most of the patties had a texture like they’ve been sitting there all day, the jerk patty was good tho. But oh my god… I don’t even know if this is Stew Chicken. I bit into this “Stew Chicken” chicken patty and came across a taste similar to old fish and spoiled fruit. Now my home smells bad because I heated this thing up in my microwave. I don’t know if this was some sort of error or maybe they gave me the wrong stuff but I don’t even think there’s chicken in this thing. It smells absolutely foul. And I don't know how anyone could serve something like this. I’m never eating here again and I’d advise people to just get patties from the other spots on Flatbush.

If you’re making money, invest in your shop. Hand written pieces of paper isn’t cute. Parties are mid and the coco bread is inedible. Will not return. Even golden krust hit better than this. I try not the judge a book by its cover but it’s a run down place with horrible food. Just keeping it 100
Never had a bad Pattie until today. Messed up the order twice, had to go back in and still got the wrong items. Patties were cold and dry. Couldn’t even eat the Salmon patties it was so cold and fishy. Chicken was brown stew chicken in patties crust. Ackee I just tossed after the disappointment from the rest. Can do better.
I hate to leave reviews that are not ideal on smaller businesses but for the love of God please find good chefs. I’m really trying to not be mean but this is quite literally the worse food I’ve ever had. I tried the food twice a whole year a part before I made my review. Honestly idk if this is Jamaican food but I’m sure it’s Caribbean inspired. These foods are no where close to Carib food. Like i couldn’t even eat it. This restaurant belongs in this community and I want them to remain here. Please listen to your reviews and improve the food. I will be trying the food again in a year.
I feel like they are selling old meat. This my second time buying and the meat stretch weird both times and don’t taste right. The chicken and the fish. Y’all be safe out here
Yesterday the chicken. Pattie gave me and my child diarrhea. The chicken was old. Buyer beware. Their patties aren't fresh like jamaican pride and Never got food poisoning Smh
