The Sampler Bushwick Brooklyn Reviews
Went here this past Sunday and was very impressed with the beer selection. The brunch menu seems small but it does pack a punch. There were 4 of us and we each tried something different. We were not disappointed. The vibe is super chill and laid back. We played a trivia game while we ate. I tried a sour beer Gimme Gimme if you like what you drink there you can buy them to go!!! That alone sold it for me
Amazing drinks & fun atmosphere! The music & energy makes this a go to
Food was actually really good. The tea combinations are what they are about. They have a music jam Wednesday nights, as our of there entertainment options, and there's like other stores embedded in this one, it's like a mini market. It's an experience depending on the time of day or night you go. It's more like $5 -$15, I did there Cafe drinks and desserts / pasteries
Sampler is my favorite Puerto Rican spot to go to late night. The DJ’s are always great. They play a wide variety of music that’ll keep you dancing all night. People typically start coming in after 10pm. The crowd tends to be mixed ages. The drinks are reasonably priced and strong. The service is quick and you won’t be waiting at the bar too long even with a crowd.
Visited this spot for the first time the other night and was pleasantly surprised by their excellent selection of beers on tap as well as for purchase to-go. If you decide to purchase a canned or bottled beer and would like to drink it there they only charge a $2 corking fee which isn't bad at all. They had playing cards at the tables and my friends and me all enjoyed some great beers and played a few games of gin rummy. Overall a great experience and will definitely be one of my regular spots in the neighborhood.
Visited on a Thursday evening. This place had a very relaxed atmosphere. The volume was at a very reasonable level. The bartender seemed like a nice and knowledgeable person and the on tap craft beer selection was satisfactory. There is a large fridge section which holds considerable variety beyond what is on tap. Definitely worth coming here if you are in the Bushwick area and looking to have a nice drink.
The music was wonderful but def a small spot where u feel jam-packed like u on a train. People were nice.. but bar was flooded so no room to walk.
spot is super small but the DJs are fire, drinks are fairly cheap. Bartender tried to charge me twice because he was too drunk to remember he charged me already so idk about that
Crowded place ! Random weird people offering you drugs for sale ! This bartender charged me $83 for 3 don julio drinks I asked for the receipt she gave me an ugly look with her mole on her face ! Told me that’s the price and if I couldn’t pay it I shouldn’t be here ! She didn’t even use a jigger to measure She free poured My drink was all juice!! $83 to waste If you go buy a beer not a drink ! Go to Santa salsa they friendly always Dive bar even sea wolf Unprofessional and nasty ! Mind you I was dive bar spending all night Somebody gotta tell her fix her attitude
What began as an enjoyable night took a turn for the worse. It took over 45 minutes to get a drink, and when I stepped outside for a moment due to the crowd, I tried to re-enter but was denied entry. My whole group was inside, and the bouncers treated me disrespectfully. They allowed others to enter right in front of me, making me feel unfairly singled out. One of the bouncers even attempted to provoke a confrontation, which was completely unwarranted. This place is truly disappointing.
It’s so disgusting what i seen happen to a young indigenous wm here. There was a guy in front of this establishment who pepper sprayed her and the establishment did nothing. They had their group of men in this establish protecting this derranged man. He should be locked up and this place should definitley be investigated for their intent to incite violence and discrimination. He ran up to her and pepper sprayed her.
They refuse to service random people who have never been. They should be realistic about who they cater to. What demographic do they cater to?
This place blast music with bass consistently during workdays even AFTER 3am. Local residents file complain to the city as they didn't follow NYC noise code for bars. We love our neighborhood, but PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL TO LOCAL COMMUNITY
