Thank goodness for bars with good beer that let you bring your own food. Both because you can take advantage of the delicious array of local eating options, and also because you don’t feel like a douche for not ordering what the bar considers to be its excellent cuisine. Here, it’s local, which means everyone from everywhere, clean and totally unpretentious. The temperature is thankfully not frigid when the A/C is on.

I went here on a weeknight to get drinks and catch up with a friend. There was plenty of space to sit, and it wasn't too loud to hear each other. They had roasted pistachios available for snacking, which I loved. I had the special hot cider with bourbon, and it was excellent. I would definitely come here before or after a show at Barclays since it is so close by. There are lots of other cool bars in the area as well.

Best air conditioning in Brooklyn. Has MLB and NFL packages. This place is open on all holidays. Dive bar located just on the skirt of the Barclays Center. Good place for drinks before an event. No food. Awesome service. Good vibes.

Uncle Barry’s in Brooklyn is a solid spot for a casual date. I’ve been a few times, the bartenders are always friendly, drinks are made well, and the vibe shifts in a fun way. It can sometimes be tough to grab a seat, but it’s still a great place to hang.

Nice place with a pretty decent selection of beers on tap. Bartender was attentive and helpful but it didn't really feel like I was in Brooklyn. Felt like a basic Manhattan bar. Not that it's a bad thing just lacked a bit of character. At least it was more diverse than most Manhattan bars. Worth a visit if you're in the area, though.

Went there for trivia night on Wednesday while waiting for laundry next door. Good crowd and interesting although difficult trivia. Saw a lot of drafts that I hadn't seen before. Bartenders were attentive and best part is the star wars on restroom doors. Still trying to figure out whether r2d2 is for men or women.

Stopped by for some Tuesday Trivia and had a great time but boy was it packed. Who knew Trivia was such a draw! Very neat and clean with a great selection of bears. The bear menu is on a chalk board and changes often, and your tasty bear that you just tried can be crossed off at anytime when sold out. The Trivia was run very nicely and you can win some money for your bar tab.

One of our favorite post Nets game bars. The beer list is extensive & they have delicious Pork Rinds to snack on if we're hungry. Be sure to check out the small outdoor garden on a nice summer night.

Stopped by for a couple of beers with a few lovely friends. The selection of beers is enough that I can try something new on the occasions I'm here and the bartenders are friendly. It was not crowded, despite being Friday night. I will definitely be coming back!
