Zam Zam Halal Brooklyn Reviews
Great food and I appreciate the extra mile in the customer service and letting me know 💛 Update: they have good deals and the food is super fresh. My favorite halal place. This place is also known as city wings on Uber. Which is the same establishment but only has a chicken menu. With a happy hour on uber eats, they have unbeatable prices.
The food was so delicious. I had a mix over rice and it was great. The customer service was great. The people were here are great. Advise everybody that’s in the area that’s looking for food healthy food to come here.
When I return to this part of town, this spot will be my destination. Nice people plus good cooking creates a winning combo. Team appeared especially kind and proficient. I've never been disappointed by anything I've eaten here. This place exceeds quality standards!
after a long time i get deshi flavour biriyani Alhamdulillah enough rice with a lot of meat the best biriyani i have ever eat in newyork better than expected i wasnt expect that much cause it was new launched item in uber eats so i orderd and the first look? that took my heart the aroma umm thats another food added in my cart that i will order continuesly please keep the quality
This is a nice local spot for halal food. We tried the chicken platter, the mixed special platter, and a lamb gyro. Food tasted great and they give decent portions. It was busy and I saw that many people order ahead. It's not much seating or an open layout so that takes away from the in-store ordering experience. The actual good prices are higher than the posted prices in the restaurant. Overall, I would recommend.
Okay, I have little mixed feelings. This is my third order through Uber delivery, but I am not satisfied. The past order (tikka over rice, as far as I remember) and it was heavenly! Everything was perfect. Another thing was chicken salad, and again it was so delicious. That encouraged me to try their shrimp popcorn salan. I am disappointed. And wondering what's the difference between the shrimp popcorn salad and the shrimp over garden salad. What I literally got is: some lettuce, bad cucumber, little onion and the shrimp on top. The only thing I taste is the hot sauce. Nothing else. Very THIN piece of shrimp in a thick breading. I also ordered a strawberry coconut milk and got a banana coconut milk but that's okay, I like both.
This was our first time trying and honestly it’s was pretty solid. Definitely the best halal food around the Bushwick/Ridgewood área. We had ordered through Uber eats and everything came neatly wrapped and hot! The order was also on point, everything requested we got. The price point is fair and the portions are generous. We are excited to dine in next time and try some other things on the menu. We had the mix platter with rice, delicious and the popcorn shrimp was hot and crispy even though delivery. Lastly the lamb gyro was my favorite super fresh and plenty of flavor.
Recently purchased their chicken over rice ,falafel and spicy chicken sandwich .Their falafel was cooked properly kind of blend, spicy chicken sandwich was okay but their chicken over rice is below average because they use too much sauce and it makes it soggy with water and they don’t use basmati rice .They use some other type of rice which doesn’t go well when cooked in the grill .But service was fast
The combo halal rice had bones in it and the white sauce tasted like ranch dressing. Also the “Impossible burger” was just possible. It cost $12 and it was just ONE flat burger patty not that mountain of burgers as pictured. The chocolate mousse cake was $6.99 and it was just cake with a little mousse. Not worth the price at all.
I ordered two chicken gyros from Zamzam Halal. Unfortunately, the food was not good. The gyro tasted very sour, and the chicken was extremely spicy. After eating it, my sister became sick and had stomach issues. This was a disappointing experience, and I hope the restaurant looks into food quality and seasoning.
I recently ordered a platter from this location and everything went wrong. I didn’t notice the mistakes until I got to my destination. I called them right away it took several calls because nobody was answering. When someone finally picked up, they were rude and unprofessional. I explained that I had just left and that I ordered chicken over rice with lettuce and a soda, plus sauces in containers on the side. Instead, they gave me lamb and no sauce at all. They told me to come back so they could replace it. When I returned, the person at the counter was rude again. Another worker did apologize and fix the order, but the experience overall was terrible. Also, the place does not look clean. You can’t see into the kitchen, but just look around the counter and glass area it looks dusty and poorly maintained. I will never eat here again or support this business. If you go, check your food before you leave.
I came in to get a small order I received with the point system. They gave me one piece of falafel although on the app it showed several pieces (and anywhere else you go you get atleast three pieces) and when i told the guys at the counter one piece was not specified on the menu… they got extremely defensive. They also wanted to charge me for what i wanted to switch it out with. When i asked to speak with someone else to fix the issue on the menu, they started shouting at me and cursing at me. Pretty lame. The vibe at this place has always been cursed and the food is scarce (barely any veggies and the pita is always cold and soggy) but i wanted to support a local business. Not anymore. Go to Munchies or anywhere else where they wont make your ordering experience hell.
I ordered through the app, but they didn't deliver, so I had to wait another 20 minutes. The meat was burnt and edible. My husband had ordered from this place before, and I vomited it up. The workers there are dirty, without gloves, and their clothes are dirty. I don't recommend it, especially for people with stomach issues and those who are looking after their health.
I have been to this place 2 times. I was recommended to try this place because it’s around my work.. so i went to pick up my order today and i was telling the guy at the counter about my last time how they missed the stuff. He goes to me “ if you don’t like it don't order from here. I was shocked. So basically if you order online on any app or on the call you will not get the same portions or same quality of the food… But you will end up paying the same price. “ ABSOLUTELY WRONG “ Do NOT fall for this FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. It’s not even a average taste for this kind of fast food restaurant.. Costumer service is totally off the hook. Disrespectful ! 3 workers and None of the workers has the food certificate or Mental Health Hygiene iD present. They are working without gloves behind those hidden windows. I’m uploading photos as well. One last thing. Which i found so weird and funny. I was standing inside and complaining on the 311. I hear another gentleman having the same concerns and complaining the same thing to people working inside.
Food: Crumbs of unknown meat found in my falafel wrap. When I was ordering, there was a rice delivery so the door to the kitchen was open and you could see how unsanitary the kitchen was. Atmosphere: Harsh white lighting in lobby with giant surveillance monitor. You order through an intercom. Feels like you’re in prison commissary
This is my second time ordering from ZAMZAM HALAL, and I am absolutely very disappointed! My first experience was okay, but this time was a complete letdown. The fries were overcooked to the point of being burned, there wasn't nearly enough sauce on the food, and the chicken was extremely dry. With so much competition from other halal chicken spots, I'm baffled as to why they wouldn't prioritize quality. Based on this experience, I will not be trusting this place for delivery service again. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
