La Marina Brugnato Reviews
This trattoria is more than suitable for a family lunch. The cuisine is home-cooked and offers generous, carefully prepared dishes. The service is attentive. Given the busy weekends, it's best to book.
We went for lunch a few days ago. Excellent restaurant with a focus on tradition. I recommend the appetizer, with an excellent selection of cured meats served with sgabei (a kind of pasta), and a uniquely flavorful vegetable tart. The homemade ravioli are excellent, and to finish, the desserts are mouth-watering! Excellent hospitality, fast service... it feels like family, we'll be back!
A village trattoria. Delicious food. Tasty and high-quality. Excellent mushroom polenta. Also, the boiled meat with exceptional sauces. My husband had the stuffed cabbage and calamarata. Everything was good. Generous portions and fast service. Very friendly. Places like this should be cloned. I wanted to order the desserts, which looked fantastic. But I was too full to manage. Next time. I'll definitely be back. If you're in the area, stop by for a bite. It's also close to the highway exit, but in town.
A typical trattoria with excellent traditional dishes. We had a plate of mixed boiled meats with sauces and homemade cabbage salad (delicious) and a stuffed cabbage roll (fantastic). The apple pie was also delicious. Good value, and the ladies were courteous, explaining the menu to us and serving us promptly. We'll definitely be back.
Review of "La Marina" – Brugnato (La Spezia), very close to the famous Brugnato outlet. If you're looking for an authentic, welcoming restaurant that will make you feel instantly at home, La Marina is a must-see. It's a family-run establishment in a very convenient location, with parking just steps away and truly perfect accessibility, even for those with disabilities: a rare and precious touch. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great warmth, and the family atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. But the real star was the food: exceptional dishes, rich in flavor, tradition, and generous portions, all at more than fair prices. We started with amazing polenta, served in several variations: with roe deer, venison, mushrooms, and even goulash. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, the kind you want to remember forever. Next, a mixed antipasto platter with local cured meats, panzanella, and delicious vegetable tarts: a triumph of simple and authentic flavors, literally finger-licking good. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and extremely courteous. Special mention goes to Elisa and Antonietta, whose kindness and professionalism made everything even more enjoyable. Last but not least, we concluded the meal with two unforgettable desserts: a fragrant and moist homemade apple pie and a homemade panna cotta, enhanced with a delicious blackberry jam, also homemade. A perfect finale, in keeping with the care and love that characterizes the entire cuisine at this restaurant. In conclusion, La Marina is a restaurant we wholeheartedly recommend: for its quality, its atmosphere, and the passion with which it is run. It's a place we'll definitely return to, and one we recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine in a warm and authentic setting.
A truly super cozy little place ☺️ highly recommended!! When we went, due to an unexpected situation, they found themselves with one less person serving, so we waited a few minutes longer to order, but the kindness and promptness of the service were truly superb and made any wait worthwhile! We had a great time; the portions are generous and the prices more than fair. The dishes are truly delicious, and the homemade desserts are truly special. My group of friends and I are happy to have found a genuine place like this on our way 💕
Perfect!
Have the homemade ravioli- to die for. Local fresh mozzarella with the salads. Worth getting off the Autostrada.
We were able to choose from a handwritten (Italian) menu, which the staff carefully translated for us. We opted for cold cuts and cheeses as a starter and were accompanied by a type of fried bread with red onion marmalade. A spinach tart was also served on the house. Our main course was ravioli filled with spinach and ground meat served with a red sauce and Parmesan. A wonderfully enjoyable and delicious experience of typical Italian cuisine.
Fantastish and great 👍 👌 👏 , lively place with great food and wine.
We had a great lunch at this restaurant. Fresh food and great service. I reccomend paccheri al pesto and acciughe ripiene. We didn't have an antipasto but antipasto mare looked delicious. Pasta is 13euro, acciughe ripiene was 16euro.
Hidden gem. Excellent local food. The Ravioli were especially tasty. Very friendly staff.
Great restaurant owned by a super nice family, food was fantastic and the owners were very helpful translating the menu since they spoke very little English overall great place definitely try 👍

Fantastic service. Great food.
A dish consisting of a small chicken thigh cacciatore style, a side of baked potatoes, and two ladles of polenta, plus a small bottle of still water (half a liter, 10 cents at the supermarket): €15! I think this is the last time you'll see me. It's a shame, because in my teaspheres in eastern Liguria, you were a good place to stop for lunch...
