This is the best el pollo loco in orange county they are always cleaning and the staff is so nice here at this one I drive 10 miles just to go here when I have 3 that are close to me

Been so long that I haven't had their food but always new good stuff! Tried the California burrito this time and it was good! What I like about el pollo loco is that they toast their burritos so the extra crunch makes it great! There's more on the menu to try next visit. After a couple of years I found that their menu has changed a little and I am sure I will like the new stuff! For a quick snack, I always choose taco el carbón or Mac n cheese 👌

I visited this El pollo Loco location on Tues Oct 23. Let just say the experience was 10. Let's break it down. I went through the drive through from the beginning to end it must of took no less then 3 or 4 mins it was fast... Then even thought there was drama at the window ... some guy walks up to the drive through window and starts complaining about something. The cashier was on point with her El Pollo Squawd taking care of business.When it was my turn the Girl at the window was friendly fast and had a smile on her face. Ived worked customer service maybe not in fast food but still working hands on with customers and I can tell when people really want to help you and want to make your experience better so great job guys . To wrap this up I ordered The Ell Pollo Loco classic tostada salad.. Let's just say consistency the food was great and I only paid like 9 bucks... overall 10 out of 10.

So I go to a lot of restaurants and fast food places but this place has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in general the cashier named MARTIN was extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations, was very polite and kind he’s the type of person I would expect to be a manager at high end restaurants and Rosa the supervisor was very help and asking if I needed anything, this is definitely a location I would recommend to any friend or family member to dine in at.

Late night food run. Great because they are open until 11pm in Buena Park. Plus we would have leftovers for lunch. Double family meal and two 8pc chicken only deals.Easy decision and a Win-Win!

The food is amazing service is good but its not free. Though $8 for a burrito isn't bad it isn't super cheap but I'd definitely say its an amazing seudo fast food restaurant. My favorite thing here is the Chipotle chicken avocado burritto while it's fun to say its also absolutely delicious and will fill you up pretty good as well.

Chicken was tender and juicy. Beans & rice had good flavor. Drive-thru was quick--only 5 minutes. AND, NO mistakes in my $45 order.

BEST POLLO LOCO IVE BEEN TO IN A LONG TIME!!! Delicious, Hot, Chicken Was Very Well Marinated Here With A Great Impacting Flavor At This Location!!! They make some if the BEST Pollo Loco Chicken that i have ever tasted in a long time. This Pollo Loco was very busy but had plenty of new fresh and hot chicken ready and served in less than 5 minutes!!! So many happy customers here being served and the take out order window was popping out the food pretty fast too, unlike other locations. They had plenty of employees working the back to handle all of the orders in such a short time!!! Ive been to a couple of other locations and it seems like they do not marinate the chicken very well, so when they serve it, the chicken sometimes tastes like it has the flavor of a plain raw chicken with dried blood flavor. That really ruins the chicken when other locations do this. I stopped going to the other Pollo Loco's that do this! The managers really need to be trained to make sure their "Grill Masters" marinate their chicken long enough and then Char Broil and cook their chicken to perfection to draw more customers back for more!!! I guess that explains the low turn out of customers to those locations.

I've been to several Pollo Loco's restaurants and this location has been by far the BEST customer service I've experienced. Food, service and courtesy was fantastic. I wish all Pollo Loco restaurants would provide the same quality service as this location.

They forgot an item from my order during a recent visit, but upon letting the restaurant manager Saul know, he was apologetic and offered me a complimentary meal, I really appreciated that, thank you so much!

every time i come to this location it never fails !! the last time i came here i got great service and great food! The manager actually was the one who handed me my food and was very friendly i believe her name was sandra . it was a very busy and the restaurant was very clean. The food was delicious, the young man that took my order provided great service.... However the manager SANDRA should be more professional when there are customers around. The look she gave the young cashier that took my order was horrible. He was doing an amazing job at the register. There seemed to have been a problem with printer that prints the receipt on a register so the cashier moved to next register to take orders with a working printer and seemed like SANDRA didn't like that so she pretty much scolded him while taking orders. VERY PROFESSIONAL.

Fresh ingredients but they do let the chicken dry out on the grill, therefore you have to ask for “juicy” if you don’t like it dry. Good selection of under 500 calorie meals and always really fresh condiments.

Food is great. But drive thru is often excruciatingly slow. They need a system like McDonald so cars can be put in a special waiting area if they have a huge order that will take longer. Kind of a no brainer, right?

Food was good, BUT curbside pickup proved difficult. They literally have ONE curbside pickup spot. You're better off ordering it and walking in to get it because you're not always guaranteed you'll get a spot close to where they will find you.

My mother and I came in for lunch. She had the 2-pc breast and wing, rice and broccoli. It's good to see other options on the menu as it has been years since I last ate at an El Pollo Loco. I ordered their keto burrito. It was pretty good with the avo salsa.

I've been ordering take-out at El Pollo Loco for years, and the food has always been quick and enjoyable. The menu offers a diverse range of options, from family-style meals to chicken salads, burritos, and more. For dining in, there are both indoor and patio seating options. I've been using the mobile app to order, redeem discounts, and earn rewards. Recently, some of the new and seasonal items have been a welcome change. There isn't much interaction with the staff when placing mobile or online orders, but they are usually kind, and orders are ready when expected. For a quick and local business, the food here is satisfying.

Ordered online and it was ready when I walked in. The prices were fair considering how much everything has gone up. This was for takeout, but I discovered they recently renovated this store, and it looks a lot nicer inside and out.

They sneakily increased the prices by a dollar. 2 piece was 9.47 and I came in last week and it's now 10.44. It's almost not worth it anymore. I will start cooking more at home to get value. Also the added cost for an extra side is extremely high. I'd love to get a 2 piece with 3 sides but that would increase the cost by 40% adding one side. RIDICULOUS. As I'm writing this, I think you just lost a customer. I love Dan the man though. Great guy. Give him more shifts.

Food is always good but this time I'm glad I checked my order. I was told the order was complete but they where missing a burrito that I ordered.

I like El Pollo chicken, the sides are ok. I ordered the double chicken avocado salad. Posters and menu shows everything in an edible salad bowl. Mine was in a clear plastic bowl. I asked for Pico and dressing on the side. Pico was on the salad, dressing was on the side. I ordered a drink and never got the cup. The two small slices of avacado had alot of brown in them. Sometimes you don't get what you pay for.

Very busy location. The cashier was working there and he was in a rush or something. He doesn't let me think about what I should order? Besides everything else was good. The food was good and fresh. Lots of parking. Overall a good experience.

Went there this evening for dinner, and someone jacked up the heater to im guessing, 80 degrees!! People were complaining, and NOTHING was being done about it. I had to finish my meal outside, because i was ready to vomit.

This particular location is a bit pricier compared to the one near my home & you can't use the receipts for rewards. Its also in a congested lot with In n Out & Starbucks. I only visit here when I have to.

I've been going to this El Pollo Loco for years, as of lately the evening service has went down hill at the drive thru. The evening drive thru operator never puts everything in my bag and this has been happening consistently for two weeks plus. He offers salsa and other condiments but never puts them in the bag all most as if it's intentionally done. I let it slide but now he missing side orders. This is a big problem. Please fix this if you want to keep my business!

The food was alright. But the order process was difficult. The order taker in the drive through was talking way too quietly. She gave me my change in the smallest denomination possible (all pennies), and she still got part of the order wrong.

They got my wife's order wrong, she told them twice. The chicken was average. We were disappointed. $25 for a simple lunch is too much. Our first and last time at that location

I’ve ordered their churros plenty of times but the last couple times I’ve ordered any , they’ve slacked tremendously on putting any cinnamon on top of it even preparing it slacks the NEED to want to service you. STOP BEING LAZY & put some effort into your preparation.

First off this location is more expensive than others. Don’t expect any kind of service from the evening crew. Our mobile order was just sitting on the counter and when we gave them our names the guy says they don’t have it. He didn’t even turn around to check. Then he asks when we ordered and if we where at the right location, still without checking the two orders sitting behind him. We give him the names again and then he says they do have them! Still didn’t just check the receipt to see what we ordered and proceeded to ask us what we needed. It was frustrating. Maybe just come in and order so they don’t have to read or think for themselves.

So, this place is a poster child for abolishing minimum wage. Case in point: order food at 7:59PM, online for pickup. Take my time getting there, in drive through, I tell them I have a pickup, and they ask for my name. I give them my name, first then last, and they say it's not ready yet, to pull up front and park. I get to the window, and they say they can't see the order yet, so I hand them my phone, to which they reply "Oh, Phillip... You said Allison". I told them I said both names and they abruptly interrupted and told me to pull up front. 12 minutes later they come out with a bag, all my food has been just haphazardly thrown in the bag... When I get home, I realize they had put enough hot sauce on my burrito to kill a small horse. Jokes on them, I like hot food. If a manager cares to reach out, don't bother. I'll take my business to one of the other 8 locations, where they may understand the concept of first name, last name.

I could never understand what I say when I go through the drive-thru. When I get to the window, I tell them what I need, and I always have to go back inside and park because my order is always wrong or not fulfilled as requested.

Rude service. Just went through the drive thru 05/24/18 at 6:30 the woman at the register seemed bothered when asked for sugar and a drink carrier. As she was handing my order to me she quickly said "Thank you, have a good night" and she closed the window before I could request the sugar for my drink. She first said they didn't have sugar which struck me as odd at first so I asked about it.."so there aren't any sugar packets for the tea?" And then she gave me what she had. So weird. I dont expect the best customer service for a $5 combo but come on...if you dont want to be bothered stay home and someone else who needs and wants the job and who is willing to do it right or even possibly who knows how to handle their feelings and does not misplace their frustration on their customers.

REMOVE THAT HAZARDOUS RED POLE IN FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT. YOU have more than five people (cases) of hitting that pole placed in the wrong area! Which I learned the city does not approve of nor permit. I’m very disappointed with how the company handled themselves and did NOT take any responsibility for their action. Long story short there is a red pole that many people have crashed into because it is positioned too close to the road stopper. Whoever owns this restaurant needs to wake up and take action. Reckless decisions affect the unsuspecting.

I ordered 2 tamales and black beans. I'd seen the ad on TV for the tamales and they looked delicious. What I got was two flat as a pancake tamales with mostly masa and hardly any chicken filling. Also they were both dry and hard on one side, like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. They were inedible. The black beans were very tasty though. My lunch that day was a small cup of beans only, as I tossed the inedible tamales. Will never go back to El Polo Loco again.

Ordered and paid for a double chicken tostada and I got no salad dressing. Also, I paid and ordered a side guacamole and it didnt come in my food bag; Also, there were women hairs in my chicken tostada. Bad service. I had gone here before and I was good. Not anymore.

The worst service ever the drive through doesn't close tell 11 its about 10:30pm I sat there for 10 minutes to order my food and not one person took my order.So I drive up to the window and the employee are just cleaning up when they aren't closed yet. Why have hours if you don't follow them.

Lost three customers for good. Leo and staff did not speak English. Teach employees masks don't work and are not the law. How ridiculous is it to wear a mask in the order line but not 6 feet over while eating? Order taker offered us masks using her dirty gloves after touching money and who knows what else.

I've always ordered from here but it seems like these last few years it's gone down in customer service and quality of food we order tonight and as I'm about to serve my daughter her Mac n cheese there was a small bug and a leg of a bigger big inside the container we will not eat from here anymore make sure to check your food before taking a bite you may be chewing on a roach leg our dinner went in the trash do to this issue

Awful food awful customer service. My mother and I took some food to my brother who's in an assisted living close by. My brother and I started to eat the avocado chicken salad and realized how terrible it tasted. I took the three salads back and the manager Luis B would not give me a refund. Bad Company bad policy will never eat there again. Obviously we were ripped off.

Food are terrific BUT the drive through attendants can get orders straight, 2 out of 3 visits are mistakes.. Years after my previous review, I still love the food BUT this time with the online apps problem. Not once, twice but third time as at 27th Mar no one could help me straighten up my order. I understand the order had been paid and can no longer apply my redemption but there must be a way to override if they really want to help. Not okay! Definitely not safe to serve moldy broccoli and to tell me (with attitude, eye rolling), "That's just how it looks like." I could literally see the black spots through the lid. The lady at the drive-thru RUDELY offered another batch, but I just don't trust this place anymore so I left without the replacement. Came directly home and placed the broccoli in a single layer to see that the majority of it contained mold. I decided to come home with the moldy broccoli to alert other Yelp reviewers/customers to avoid it as I am not the only reviewer to mention this. An ongoing issue that urgently needs to be fixed. DISGUSTING! The workers also need to fix their attitude as this is another complaint by many others.

Food was good, but the past two times we have gone they go the orders wrong, it told us that they didn't have something on there menu, when it was in there online one. I have also gotten a bone in my shredded chicken nachos. Lady did pay attention to what we ordered and skimmed over it. But if you get the correct order the food is great.

Usually I wouldn't leave a review. However I bought a chicken classic Combo and this is like my second time finding bones in it. Very dangerous especially if a parent decides to buy this for there child. You would think that they would put chicken breast. It makes me wonder if they are trying to save on there meat. Please use Chicken breast it's cheaper than a law suit. OVER ALL a great place to eat.

NEVER NEVER hang the dirty rugs to the hand rails if the dining room still open! That is disgusting and not safe. Also PLEASE pay attention to your costumer’s ordered items instead of rushing to go home! My salad dressing & salsa roja are missing!

I don’t have a problem with the food it is delicious, but the drive through workers are rude/disrespectful. This is the second time that the drive through window workers are rude. They don’t do a very good job either. The side orders are not filled up properly. They didn’t give me my order correctly. I had to remind the lady to give me the drink I ordered because she gave me my food and said thank you without the drink. I was given a drink that had soda spilled all over the cup that it dripped on me and in my car. Workers need to be more respectful/nice. Workers need to make sure they’re giving orders correctly and that sides are filled to the top. Thank you.
