Love a trip to Bob Evans when we're in the States. Good food at a decent price and always good service. Shout out to our waitress Aubrey who was fantastic even though I think she struggled with our Scottish accents 😂 Time Bob Evans ventured across the Atlantic?

We are from Canada and we were visiting in the area when we found this place. Staff were very friendly and patient and we had a delicious meal. We ordered the honey butter chicken biscuit meal to share between two people with Mac and cheese and carrots on the side and it was more than enough. Over all great value and a fun experience.

Before our trip to Buffalo, we only knew Bob Evans for the store bought mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and apples. Then we noticed this Bob Evans restaurant right next to where we are staying. Me and my Fiancé ended up having quite possibly the best food and service we've ever had at a restaurant! Our server Jeany was absolutely amazing, a true sweetheart and over has Greta customer service! The food was decadent!!! The Biscuits and bread, the Blue Ribbon Bacon, Chicken Noodle Soup, Honey Butter Chicken and Apple Pie was hands down the best food we've had in a long time that wasn't homemade. The icing on the cake was the total. We only paid $25.94 for everything including drinks as well! Due to our waitress' outstanding service, we gave her a $40 dollar tip. Highly recommend this restaurant, will most definitely eat again

Went here for Thanksgiving dinner tonight. They were super busy but still got sat in 30 minutes. Our servers name was Cherise and she was amazing. Best server I've probably ever had! Even though she was running around like crazy. She was so friendly and accommodating. The dinner was so good. And the apple pie was delicious. Will absolutely be back!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! First off round of applause to our server! She was an absolute gem, who also helped me discover early grey tea with French vanilla creamer tastes like fruit loops. The food was delicious! I'm not a huge fan of French toast but they changed my mind! I wanna sleep on a bed made of Bob Evans French toast!!!! Eggs were great, sausage was delish, the bacon knew what crispy meant! I don't know why there's a Denny or Ihop where this spot exists. Wish we had one in Canada… in the mean time I'll stop by here for breakfast when I'm in the states.

Breakfast at Bob Evans was pretty good. The coffee is strong and biscuits are soft and crunchy. The chicken sausage was cooked well and eggs were don't just perfectly.

Being from Ohio, it's always a treat for me to have a meal "Down on the Farm" at Bob Evans. The quality of the food was great, the service was very good an there was no wait to be seated. Had the Western Omlet, Hashbrowns, some links and some Sausage Gravy for everything.

Always so pleasant to dine here. Close to home and the food is fresh and so good. Wait time is short and servers are always friendly. One of our favorites.

Our waitress was great, food needs improvement. Do not serve a hamburger dripping wet from the grease. So gross. The amount of red skin potatoes is very chinzy. When someone asks for crispy bacon not burned, I wish they knew how to cook it that way. I do notkke burned bacon not do I like bacon undercooked

We had a breakfast the day after the wedding just us and the waitress was wonderful. The room was quiet which we appreciated. It's the first time we've had Bob Evans in 15 years

I ordered a breakfast against my better judgement lol because I kind of want to try something else now and im not local. The pancakes were delicious light and fluffy. Usually you go into a restaurant and the meal looks completely different from the picture. At Bob evans the meal looked the same. I would try again when im in the area. This is a nice little homey family restaurant.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! Why didn’tI think of this sooner? Spoiling myself with eggs cooked just right just when I was really hungry! The eggs were perfect, the sausage that same great taste from my childhood! The sourdough toast was perfectly toasted and the fruit cup (instead of potatoes) was crisp - the blueberries and banana not a taste I’ve ever appreciated before! Even the perfect iced tea that nowadays Tim Horton couldn’t give me anymore was meant to slow me down to enjoy each drop. Like finding home in a strange place, this unexpected meal was a real gift I gave myself. How did Bob Evans fall off my radar? Loved that they didn’t bug me to finish yet were available any time I looked around in need! Also, plate and food still hot after I’m completely full! Young lady that waited on me was friendly and understanding about my deadness.just a really great experience.

Very affordable breakfast and very delicious too! I got The Whole Hog breakfast which came with bacon, sausage patties, sausage links, ham, eggs, home fries, and one hotcake and one slice of French toast. It was a very hearty breakfast and I definitely left filled up. Service was also quick, especially considering it was mid morning.

We haven't been to Bob Evans in quite a spell so we decided to have breakfast on a Sunday morning (motivation was actually the online 20% off coupon emailed to us). Our selections (Southwest Avocado Omelet with hash browns, banana bread and a side order of bacon/Bacon-sausage-cheddar cheese omelet with a side order of biscuits and gravy) were savory and filling and as always the coffee was great.A shout out to Cassandra (our waitress) who was attentive and pleasant. I took my young son here for breakfast on a Saturday morning (approximately 9:30 am). Unfortunately, there was about a 25+ minute wait. The waiting area, at one point, became very congested, and a lot of people and kids stood around waiting to be seated. It did become uncomfortable. Once we were seated, we ordered immediately, and the food came out so fast! Everything was perfectly cooked and hot. It was wonderful. The service was very good, and everyone was friendly. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars was because my son slipped and fell in the waiting area because the floor was not clean (there was something oily on the floor), and because once we were seated, we noticed there was a back area with tables and chairs that were not being used ( lights off). I would think that with it being as crowded as it was that morning, they could've opened that area up. Anyway, I would still recommend for a casual meal out with family or friends.

Visited here from out of town. Business was slow. Ordered three meals of eggs and hash browns to go. Had to repeat myself five times to the server, who had to ask the on-duty manager how to order eggs over medium on the computer. Same order three times and had to repeat each order three. And then had to order biscuits and toast. I think the young man was new, but he was trying. I still gave him a 15% tip. He was courteous and respectful. Food was good, above average. Restaurant was clean. Bathrooms needed a little attention.

Clean, good service even though busy. Very tasty salad, biscuits were warm and fresh. Very pleased that waitress took special note of food allergy issues. Potato soup was on the thick side, almost like potatoes is their Mac and cheese sauce, but the salad was perfect, chicken grilled to perfection. Great summer meal.

My husband grew up in NY so Bob Evans was a restaurant that they used to eat at. Now that we are all here for a family trip, it's a must have dinner at Bob Evans. We came in at 8. There was only one other table eating. We did double check if it was ok of we could stay for dinner since they close at 9. They said no problem and sat the 7 of us. Melinda took care of us tonight. She got our drinks started while we looked over the menu. I got the peach iced tea. Mannnnnnn was it good! It was perfectly sweet! And you can taste the tea and the peach. A total must have! We just came from Georgia and this tea was comparable to the sweet tea we had there. So yummy! Before dinner, Melinda dropped off a huge plate of rolls, biscuits and banana bread. We have been flying all day so we were happy that a whole bowl of bread was dropped off in front of us! I had a slice of the banana bread and it was so good! It was moist and flavorful. I added some butter on top, delicious! It took a lot out of me to only have 1 slice. I wanted to save room for dinner. I got the steak tips for dinner tonight. For my sides I got fresh fruit and buttered broccoli. As everyone's plates were coming out, I noticed how tasty they all looked. My husband's country fried steak looked good! My daughter's cheese was all nice and melty on top of her sunshine skillet. And then mine came out. I totally thought it was a joke. It looked like a hot mess. It looked like it was just thrown on the plate. I love my food charred but my food was completely burnt. Like my steak, onions and mushrooms were left on the grill, completely forgot about and then cooked when everyone's food was done being prepared. The steak and mushrooms were so burnt that you couldn't tell what you were eating. I know the chef had second thoughts on serving me that plate cause they were working on new steak tips without me saying anything. My second plate of steak tips was a lot better. The mushrooms and onions were sautéed nicely. And this time around the steak was edible. I appreciate that they remade my steak. But honestly, I wouldn't have served the first plate. My side of brocolli was decent. You don't get a lot of it. I did have a bite of my husband's mac and cheese, it's way better than the stuff they sell at the grocery store. I don't know if we will come back anytime during this visit but if we do I'm getting the mac and cheese. Overall, it was a decent dinner. It brought back fond memories for my family. Melinda did a great job taking care of us tonight. I appreciate that they right a wrong. My family left full and happy. It was a good visit to Bob Evans tonight.

Not to shabby. 4 stars because the portions seem to have gotten smaller. I love the way they Substitute items here and the waitress was so very kind. I enjoyed the free WiFi and food was properly seasoned. If you are getting the pot roast I would ask for Gravy on the side. Trust me. I would still say bob evans beats out dennys and ihop etc… they may need to innovate.

Visited this place the day before Thanksgiving which wasn't the best time. Lots of people had ordered Thanksgiving meals foe take.out. Those meals looked great. But it meant a longer wait to be seated and to check out Extea staff would have been helpful. Once we were seated the service was alright. I could have used s refill on my drink but none was offered. We both ordered a lunch special. I had soup ans sandwich my friend soup.and salad. The soup was excellent. Very tasty and rich. A bacon potato soup. My friends chicken salad was huge. A real bargain for $8.99 Air temp was on the cool side but seats were comfortable. Good good. Good value.

Really enjoyed our visit to Bob Evans. We arrived at 12:15 on Sunday and were seated within 20 minutes. They accommodated us with a large table without asking. We were a party of two plus our toddler. This gave us space to keep him in his stroller without being in anyone's way. We paid $55 CAD for two breakfasts and drinks with tip. The home fries were good, bacon was superb, and the eggs just right. While the value for price could be slightly better, the food quality makes it worth the visit on occasion.

This was our first time here. The atmosphere was nice. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was tasty. The only negative marks i give were the prices. $12 for a burger and fries was a bit higher. The food was good, but the portions were only medium compared to the prices charged. The only exception was the pancakes, which were a good size portion. Overall, a good experience, but you can get better portion sizes for the money at other restaurants.

My wife and I have traveled the country and in 50 years or so have never stopped at a Bob Evan’s. We moved back to our roots in Buffalo, NY, two years ago and there is a Bob Evan’s within 3 miles of our house. We have been partial to the IHop chain. We thought we would give this Bob Evan’s a go. Service was slow, and the food was …. Well… OK. But the coffee????? Weak. No … very weak. It was lukewarm and, weak and really so weak it was like brown water. ( I use cream) Our waitress took it back and bought a “fresh” cup from a new pot. It was every bit as bad, undrinkable. And I mentioned it and was told that “only one in a thousand doesn’t like our coffee”. So I guess it was my turn. I could not drink warm weak brown water. … so I didn’t. It was like dishwater. The waitress seeing that I did not drink either cup of coffee left it on the bill. I never drank it. I talked to the “manager” and he took it off the bill. Mostly it was the dismissiveness that irked me. The attitude of the manager when iI told him they need to at least use more than one coffee bean or what ever. He said, “it’s a formula.” As he took it off the bill. In other words, from his attitude, he will not be improving it. I have choices, and it will probably be another 50 years before I go into another Bob Evan’s restaurant. At the very least McDonalds has coffee that has a coffee taste. I have never in my 84 years had coffee that weak. I love coffee, and know when it ain’t good. In fact not acceptable.

first of all i’ve been going to Bob Rvans for many years around the country. I’ve never had a bad experience with there help in fact the peach st store in Erie the women who waited on us has been there almost 40 yrs . She was great and the food was good. Yesterday we ate at the store on Niagara falls blvd in Amherst the wait staff was great but the food was horrible. Everything we ordered was burnt but the thing that really surprised me how dirty the store is. Location needs some big upgrades

Sunday morning, quite busy for only 1 waitress. Not sure if it was the manager helping deliver food. Also may only have been one cook. I ordered breakfast scrambled eggs, biscuits, and sausage patties. Took a bit of time to come out. But it was all over the place, the scrambled eggs were cold and tasted raw even with the cheese mixed in, the sausage was dry and burnt, the hash browns were well over done. The biscuits were good but that's as far as it goes. Unfortunately, I will not be returning as the experience has left a poor taste in my my. I felt sorry for the waitress she was really working hard and doing a great job but the food left much to be desired.

It was our very first experience for our family today at Bob Evans. The employees were very kind. Food was below average - had some burnt parts in the fried chicken, although menu looks great. The chef had forgotten couple of items - the waitress and I both had to point out what was missing on the plate. The place needs renovation. Concept is great, especially for the price and the kids menu is amazing too. There is high potential with renovated place and better execution of the food.

Just came from Bob Evans maybe an hour ago. I never heard anything bad about them, maybe it was this location. I don't remember seeing any kind of thing on the door saying they were limiting capacity but we had to wait about 25mins to be seated for our reservation even tho the place was virtually empty. When we finally got seated the table the still dirty and then the lady who seated us placed the menus down on the dirty table before "cleaning" it. But "cleaning isn't what I would call it. It was done with basically a soaked rag, and it left nasty streaks on the table that we had to clean up.(We aren't the only people who c=got a dirty table table, some people refused to sit or straight up left.) So we order our food, they both got country fried steak, one with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes and the other with mac and cheese. Seems i forgot to take a picture of my own plate but I got the double meat farmer plate with French toast instead of hot cakes. We had hot cakes on the side and biscuits with added sausage gravy. Lets start with the family plates. Both Country fried steaks were different, one tasted pretty good and the other had a very weird flavor. One broccoli was good and the other was actually really dry. The mac and cheese was ok and the potatoes were good but they were cold. The biscuits were ok but better with the sausage gravy. Now for what I had. My potatoes were really hot for some reason like they just nuked my plate in Chef Mike and only the potatoes got hot. Onn the opposite end my bacon was barely luke warm. My sausage links were perfect and my sunny side eggs were warm at least and not bad tasting. When it comes to my "French toast", it was very lack luster. It just didn't taste like French toast and was full of sugar. The hot cakes... they were just bad and actually the worst part is under cooked.. Hence the first picture showing the uncooked batter. The only really good thing was the price. everything came to about 42 bucks for 3 people. I think that was due to some deal with them getting the same meal. Are service was alright, I guess. Can't really say to much, barely saw our server honestly but she was polite and quick. Took her a bit to get some side stuff but from what it sounded like the kitchen was in disarray. overall I would give 2 1/2 stars but it doesn't deserve a 3 so I'm giving a 2. Hopefully, a different time and location will renew some faith in Bob Evans. But, for now its not there at all.

Food was ok. Service was horrible. Was left waiting a bit before we were served.Had a waitress ask us for the honey at our table and I asked if she can get our server so we can order. (We haven’t even ordered drinks at this point.). She stated she would then said I will just go ahead and get your order. We ordered our drinks and our food. Got them and never seen our waitress again. Didn’t even receive a bill had to go up and let them know what we were paying for.

I used to have dinner here with my friends when I was a UB student, but one of the male staff members was extremely rude and unprofessional, which made us feel unwelcome.

Horrible service. Came in to go ahead and get some breakfast, sat around for an hour waiting to be sat, saw multiple groups of people that came in after us get sat until our patience finally waned and we left. Never coming back.

I was waiting more than 30minutes and two more tables already have their breakfast. Manager comes and said omelet will start soon. Even they did not say sorry. What a rude attitude !!!!

It’s a chain place so you can’t expect much, but this one is exceptionally bad. The staff are just lazy. Everything on my plate was way over cooked. Asked for over easy eggs and they were cooked well done. The yolks just solid. This place is just plain terrible. I will not be back to this location. What’s on these eggs?

Paid $12 for a burnt BLT. Bacon is fried to death, tomatoes mushy, the lettuce was wilted and brown under the tomatoes and the bread was ripped and burnt. Ordered mac and cheese and fruit and got 2 orders of corn. My 2yr Olds scrambled eggs were slimy and wet, like they were dipped in water and his sausage link looked like a mummies shriveled finger.

very poor unfortunately. i’d leave a good review if i liked anything but poor customer service. food too expensive. sent orders out wrong 10 meals sitting up cold toast on floor up there they put it back on the plate before serving ice cold food to a customer. a serious health hazard. eggs were smaller than a penny. ingredients missing. wrong order not as described or shown overcharged no help long wait unhappy customers obviously hire people right off the road or maids from next door waitress with an attitude dropping the trays embarrassing. no refills just extremely rude and poor customer service unfair pricing of course understaffed weekends no extra pay or appreciation stay home or go elsewhere.

Got seated with people completely surrounding our table with a brisk smell of urine. Very appetizing start 20min wait for steak tip meal for 7 bits of steak rubbery mushrooms and not Caramelized onions and all of it dusted with a nice ounce of char from the skillet so I'm sure my toilet is going to be happy with me as well. If you wanna pay for food that's bar is low go here. Oh and a 5$ upgrade for 3 shrimp what a joke

Absolutely terrible staff. Waited 15 minutes and no server to the table. Finally just left. No one cared they lost customers. Will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone. Do not come to this restaurant!

Edited on Nov 3, 2024 to add pictures and complain. The service was lousy. There might have been some massively overt racism in the waiting area as staff seemed to have trouble seating a black man that had been waiting 25 minutes to give his name. If you have a camera, the man was named Kenny or Keith and he was dressed in a red and white dress shirt and dark colored slacks. This would been at about 9 am. He had been waiting very long time, I know because my wife and I waited outside for 20-30 minutes for our son to arrive. This man was there first, he should have been seated first. My wife and I, with our son waited over an hour after being seated to be brought one correct meal and two completely wrong meals. My wife argued with the waitress, who told my wife she ordered wrong. My wife hates avocados, so she didn't order "wrong". The waitress scooped off the offending avocado off the top of my wife's omelet to fix it. She used one of my plates to remove the avocado and touched it to my plate, leaving a turd like smear of avocado on it (in the pictures). She came back to remove the two incorrect meals from the check. I didn't leave a tip then, but I will leave one now. 1. Don't engage in racism. 2. If you are too understaffed to open, don't.

Food was decent. Service was horrible. Only had one waitress on a Saturday night at 7pm. Waited 40 mins to just get drinks. Bathrooms were disgusting.

What a horrible experience!!! Upon arriving I was told it was a 20 minute wait. Which confused me considering the parking lot was pretty empty. Ended up being a 40 minute wait! Sat down and it took 10 minutes for someone to come over and at that time I ordered my drinks and food. Took about 10 minutes for my drinks to come and about 30 minutes to be served. Meanwhile there’s dirty tables all around uncleared and a bunch more just empty. The waitress brings the food and asked if we needed anything else? We said yes!! Some utensils would be nice! Just went sand did something else!! My wife got us some utensils!! Food was pretty good, but ALL ELSE SUCKED!!! P.s. tables been sitting dirty for at least 30 minutes!

Restaurant was dead when we got there, maybe four tables, we waited 10 minutes for anyone to come over, then waited an hour and 10 minutes for 2 kids meals, a breakfast meal and a salad, at that point we decided to leave. No one ever came over after taking the order. Would not recommend!

The server was very rude. If you cant handle 4 tables total then you probably should not be a waiter. He was very high strung and over whelmed and we were the only 4 customers in the entire restaurant. It was a very slow Tuesday night. He was not welcoming and made us afraid to ask for his service. So whoever served/waited tables Tuesday 10/21/2025 should absolutely be fired or switched to another type of position. That guy does not like people. Unfortunately.

I always love to stop at Bob Evans anytime I can find one. I was really disappointed with the food. My coffee was lukewarm, I like it hot. My grits were horrible and my pancakes were doughy. I only ate my egg whites and sausage. I left the rest on the table. The server was great, but I won’t visit this location.

Service was great. Everything is water down on the sauce side, the hot sauce bottle is old and crusty and has been filled with water clearly. Sausage gravy was dark as hell 😩 Very disappointing l, been to Bob Evan probaly 20 times and won't be returning.

I was very excited to go to bob Evan’s for the first time. I ordered a hamburger with fries and Mac & cheese. The food was good but it came out way too fast (under 5 minutes) tasted like it was already made and sitting for a while. The waitress was very unhelpful. She never came to ask how the food was and never came back to ask if refills were needed. I had to start sharing my brothers drink. The waitress only started to act nice towards us when the meal came to the end of the meal. I was very unpleased with the service and I don’t plan to return.
