Flying Bison Taproom Buffalo Reviews
What a Great Group of People!!! And, their beer is Yummy!!! We spent this afternoon enjoying the Best Selection of Beer! They were contributing today's proceeds to Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue and welcomed our furry children with open arms! Lots of Love in Flying Bison Brewing Company, and we are feeling it, too! They offer a large, bright tasting area, affordable samples and reasonable full sized servings of your favorite choices with complementary salties to cleanse our pallet between samples. And their ladies room is spotless! We will be back!
Excellent beer and very cool vibe!!!
Really good beers here. My favorite in the Nitro version of their Aviator Red. So creamy! We had a work retirement party here and they let us bring in pizza. It was such a good space for the event. Everyone had a blast!
This is my new favorite spot. The staff is super friendly and take the time to help explain the different brews which made for a great selection on my flight. Try the buffaloaloha before its gone it was to die for. Can't wait to go back
First time here. We came to see THE GIRLS FROM GROSH. This place is absolutely beautiful and everything about the brewery is clean, including the floors and the bathrooms. I was the designated driver so I didn't drink. But my boyfriend tried a few different types of specialty beers and enjoyed all of them. The crowd is a mellow one tonight which is expected for the type of music that the band GROSH plays. This was an amazing event as well as a beautiful evening.
Absolutely a fantastic brewery. They have beer that everyone can enjoy on their menu, and options available change frequently enough to keep you coming back. If you’re interested in discussing beer, learning how it’s made, and watching the process, this is the place for you. Customers are able to sit and look through windows at all equipment. Employees are very knowledgeable, and the owner is a great person who takes the time to talk to even the newest of beer fanatics. This is a must see in Buffalo.
Incredibly knowledgable and pleasant staff. Atmosphere was lovely and comfortable. Tried every beer on tap with their awesome flights and was genuinely surprised when I enjoyed almost all of them. Even the ones that weren't my favourite you could tell the time and effort that went into them. Will definitely be going back soon!
Had a group of American Legion tour the brewery. Staff was great. Beers were flowing in 14 flavors. Each beer had great flavor and tasted great. Food and snacks were well prepared and high quality. Soft pretzels were to die for. Fresh cut fries and burgers. very clean and board games to keep you there. I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD VISIT THIS FINE BREWERY LOCATED IN BUFFALO.
cafeteria vibe for a brewery, casual guests of mixed ages. does not seem to be a locals spot but a tourist or large holiday party spot. pro: easy to find parking, a large side patio with games. con: on a regular weekend the place feels blank and empty
The gentleman behind the bar was very friendly and explained the history of the brewery a bit, and tried hard to give us a diverse mix of beers in our flights. Sadly, the beer here was far under our expectations. The live music was nice but way too loud. There was hardly anyone in the brewery, and the band had acoustic guitars, so why not play acoustically instead of blasting amps? We could not even talk to each other, so we left.
Went for an event advertised as pilsners and pierogi and was charged 22.00 entry. Not one pierogi vendor. They had a seafood truck. I understand charging a cover charge for the band but 22.00 a person? Event was noon to five and an hour in the band still didn’t start. Money grab. Beer was sub par.
Flying Bison used to be a regular spot for my family. Recent staffing changes has driven out all the regulars we have gotten to know for almost 10 years. Disappointing since their beer is still fantastic, but like all the former regulars we have moved down to Buffalo Brewing where the atmosphere is more welcoming.
