Mighty Taco is in no way a spectacular restaurant, but it's awesome in its consistency. Over the years, I have tried almost everything on the menu, and it's all good. Since COVID, they have been able to serve beer and hard seltzers, making it a bit more enticing to go to. And of course, there are plenty of options and extras that can let you customize your order to your taste. I have to admit that I was really drawn to Mighty Taco by their advertising campaigns and placemats of years ago. You can still find some of their radio ads archived here and there on the Internet. These were brilliant, and helped to showcase the local, 'we're just a Buffalo-style Tex-Mex place that you go to for cheap, solid food you can trust' that made you know it wasn't fancy, it was for everyone. So, if you go, don't expect tablecloths or fancy decor, but do expect to be satisfied.

This particular location of Mighty Taco is in my opinion the best ! Five Stars !

They've never had my order wrong. I usually order ahead through the app, and although the app could use work the staff are great at the restaurant. The drive thru sometimes takes a minute or two extra but the food comes out hot and accurate to the order.

The iconic sign where there is a taco with a bite is so beckoning. When you get a hard shell here you will be tempted to bite a corner out of it just so you can give tribute to the beloved sign. The taco's here are very good and very cheap. The service here is good as well. Something stands out at Mighty Taco. It is the distinct flavors and ways they put things together. It is interesting, cheap and tastes real good.

As a local mighty taco has just always been a personal favorite. The BBQ pulled pork burritos are always great in the summer season. Really great food for a even better price. Always take my friends who visit from the city there and the love it too.

Mighty Taco, how do we love thee, let us count the ways. No, I'm not really going to make a list, relax. But if I did, it would start with the cheese. You all know the cheese they use for tacos and burritos adds that creamy something that other joints don't have. Maybe a few do. Look, I haven't been to every taco joint so I guess it's possible. WNY loves Mighty. We often just call it Mighty, that's how close of a relationship we have. Now, inflation has hit hard and these days burritos for my hungry family of just 3 cost around $800. No, maybe it was just 30 bucks. But still, that's a lot of beans. Beans. Get it? Because Mexican food... Fine, they're not all winners. Let's see you write a fun review instead of the baloney I see out there, "food, pretty good, me hungry". Ugh. Be inventive. Anyway, eat Mighty, but maybe check to see if your cable bill went up first.

I stopped in for lunch and by the time I needed to use my card to pay, my lunch was ready and waiting. Super fast service that is greatly appreciated while on a metered lunch hour. The staff was very courteous and quick. I would happily stop for lunch here again!

I have celiac disease and was nervous to try eating here since diagnosed but they checked all the boxes! I believe the girls name was Jayda and she checked to make sure things were gluten free and made sure that gloves got changed before handling my food! There was also an older blonde lady and she was very sweet and double checked to see if a separate order we placed would be gluten free too! Great experience and didn’t get sick due to their care :)

Edit - I ordered the wrong item apparently. I went to this location for the first time today and I can't explain how disappointed I am. I usually go to the one on Walden and I got my normal order - two veggie burritos and one of those fried cheesy rolls. HOLY. There was no beans, no jalapenos or banana peppers, literally just lettuce, tomato, and onion. I pulled over right away because of how light the bag was and knew something was wrong. One and done on this Mighty, I'd rather drive to the Walden one if I was right outside of this place.

Loved this business and location since I was a child, but I just wanted to say that a man who was working the window complimented my eyes tonight when I was clearly upset and had been crying, and I SO appreciate it because it’s exactly what I needed to hear. I was honestly shocked to hear that compliment because I was actually upset ABOUT my appearance, so it was such a sweet surprise and it truly made my night. Whether he was flirting or just being considerate doesn’t even matter, I was just happy to hear something positive about the way I look, and he was very respectful about it. Please keep hiring kind and considerate employees, they really do have the ability to change someone’s mood!

I was introduced to Mighty Taco back in the early 80s while attending college at Buffalo State. Their tacos are unique, delicious, and tasty-hot when you request them that way. I keep going back whenever I get the opportunity. Highly recommend.

A buffalo tradition to eat fast food, they are quick here to serve and cash you out, they recently just built a free-standing new location in the same spot of the Plaza.

Buffalo legend. Bit yuppified & cliched along the lines of a franchise compared to back in the day. Stick with the originals which is sometimes hard to tell with the name changes over the years. Remember Midget Gardens? The menu is very diversified not necessarily for the better, at least universally

If you are from Buffalo there is no question that its Mighty over any bell shaped opponents. When I want a good old taco is to mighty I go. Prices up slightly from covid.

Good for a quick bite; similar to taco bell. The fact that they offer a vegan burrito is nice as lots of places do not have a vegetarian options.

It's a Mighty Taco. It is what it is, which is fast food tacos and burritos and such. Better than Taco Bell, for sure! Drive through staff is always nice at this location and never f up our order. Sometimes the napkins look like an angry cat clawed them into our bag, but that's more funny than anything else.

The is regiinal restaurant that has a similar menu to Taco Bell, but better. The menu is extensive and there were many difference options for each category of food, such as tacos, burritos, etc. We went through the drive-thru. The employee was very polite and knowledgeable. This is a place that can accommodate vegetarians, gluten-free and meat eaters.

Update: Food is prepared quickly, so even if there's a long line, you're not waiting long. Have never had a bad experience with this location. Their soda could use more carbonation. And the drive-thru is very hard to turn into, but it's just the way the parking lot is set up. Otherwise, no complaints!

Everything was nice and hot, but my quesadilla felt a bit light on the fajita chicken.

They were super fast, got a large order wasnt even in there 5 min, it took me way longer to order then for my food to be prepared. The cashier was very polite and patient especially that even tho I was getting a large order and almost every taco or burrito was different the cashier knew how to ring everything out including substitutions. The food tasted good like Mighty Taco always does, and they even wrapped my burrito properly so everything was even, so I never got a bite full of only 1 ingredient.. Over all great experience.

Staff can sometimes be a little aloof. When you come back to the counter (because they missed an item) it can sometimes be a challenge to get someone to notice you / get someone's attention.

The first thing I noticed upon enrty was the cleanliness. Ive been to a lot of fast food restaurants and many are very gross but this place was excellent. The food was overall pretty good, and came out fairly quick even on a very large order, although the lady taking our order was somewhat rude. They were also out of the Mighty Mac & Cheese bowl, and the chicken to pepper ratio on the fajita was subpar. I enjoyed the food and would eat here again.

Food is consistently good. I almost always go in to eat and staff is friendly, dining area and restroom is clean. I dont care for the music they seem to play the last few months, not really a hip hop kind of dining experience but it's not a deal breaker. Just a little loud and annoying. (And no, I'm not old)

Went here for the first time!! Loved that it was all booths and no tables!! Was afraid that they did not have a kiosk but thankfully they did! My food was good. Genuinely forgot how big the sauces were! Rugs were a bit dirty, but that is no problem! Definitely going here again!

It's your usual Mighty Taco. This particular one has a large dining room area as well as a drive through. The rest rooms here are never well kept... they are always disgusting ( I cannot say if this is also true for the woman's restrooms )

A strange thing happened where they said they don't except tax exempt?! That is not legal, whether you have paper copy of number or not. Management needs to fix that But the woman were very nice

Why is this location always so slow? Food is fine and the staff is reasonably friendly. Just always super slow which makes for a line at the drive thru.

Had this for the first time, it would be wrong if I said it was great. I think the whole structure of this resturant is get people cheep food, around the clock. The boritos are huge and I felt like they were worth the money. The food isn't bad it just isn't great either ...

The taste and quality of what Mighty Taco used to be is gone. Now they have low flavor and no quality. Everything the sell all tastes just about the same.

Delaware Ave. North Buffalo a bit lacking on the presentation. There was a lot of different items ordered. NONE of them were marked. You had to pull all tacos, fajitas & burritos apart to see what was in the package. I recommend the MT on Kenmore Ave in North Buffalo. I just think if you order $50 worth of food it shouldn't be wrapped up in a mess and plopped on 2 trays. The pork bowlito was mostly rice. Not recommended.

It's just not the same anymore. The portions are smaller the price has skyrocket and the food quality is so so . It's not a "SUPER" mighty anymore. They should rename it the mediocre mighty.

Not sure what's going on with Mighty Taco's higher ups, but quality is way down. The hard shells on my tacos were stale, the tortilla on my super mighty was stale and the chips I got were also stale. On top of that, the portions are smaller than ever. Used to be a great deal for good food. Now, not sure I want to go back after this being the second time and second location I went through this. Maybe if I'm feeling cheap and had a bit of drink, I'll try again. But hungry and sober, not going to happen. This Buffalo brand has fallen to the dogs, but I wouldn't feed it to my dogs. Only thing they still have going for them at this point is Logan berry and they serve Pepsi products. What's even worse, it was national taco day!! You can do better Mighty Taco, get back what made you special to this community before it's to late.

First visit, and I had a pleasant time there. This super mighty beef taco tasted so good. The size for the prize was decent. Thurd time visit and there's a another guy making me food. He got my order wrong, and the quesadia bread burnt. Mt burito tasted bland, unlike the first time I went there. I will no longer visit mighty taco.

The place matts are not as good as the old ones. The tacos are not the same the meat is musher and tastes more bland. I still love the place but again it's not the old Mighty Taco. I miss the original store on Hertel by main.

It seems as their taco meat has improved recently.... But WTH happened to their portions? I always get a beer and cheese burrito, and all I keep thinking about is the Wendy's commercial... Where's the beef??? It looks like a Ton Brady football... deflated! Fill them up like you used too. Biggest restaurant pet peeve... You can't charge more and give less... People have no problems paying more, but we still expect the same portions that we are a custom too...

It tasted quite good but I don't remember the last time I had worse diarrhea. Oh wait yes I do. Brahm's breakfast stuff with their eggs. Still it was a horrible experience afterwards but alright in the moment. Goes from 3 stars to 2 stars because it costs more than taco bell but hurts your guts more

My Mighty Taco was terrible. I couldn't even eat it. The taco meat apparently wasn't drained properly the wrapper was full off sauce and when I took a bite I had probably a small sauce cup of fluid pour out the back and onto the wrapper. I should have know better I went around 3:00pm so the meat was proably just sitting since lunch time.

Haven't had Mighty in a long time and stopped in to grab something to eat late night. Food quality has been degrading for years and is now some of the worst fast food around. Ground beef is paste-like and super fatty. "Hot" sauce is little more than "mild" any place else(they just make it swim in sauce to make it 'hotter') The nacho cheese sauce has a burnt film on it and quickly coagulates into a gag-inducing mystery solid. The fajita chicken is really the only safe bet anymore.

Was ordering the other day through the drive-thru. Ordered a Chicken Fajita for myself, A BBQ burrito for my friend, and then went to order a BBQ Burrito with coleslaw and specified it was for someone with a dairy allergy, so no cheese. The staff then told us not to get the coleslaw because it had dairy. The person who had the dairy allergy also used to work at mighty taco and ordered this many times, so they were confused by this but greatful that the staff was trying to be diligent. Continuing through and curious, I asked what in the coleslaw was dairy (milk products). We were met with the employee who in a very rude tone said "I'm so glad that you asked that" and held up the box with the ingredients. He proceeded to then yell at us, "AS YOU CAN SEE HERE IT CLEARLY STATES EGGS!" When we tried to clarify what dairy was we were met with combativeness and ignorance. They said they never had to deal with a dairy allergy but they were trying to save our lives. Then justified themselves by saying "eggs and milk have been in the same section of the grocery aisle my whole life!" even though eggs don't come from cows. The server proceeded to insult us to his coworker with the drive-thru window closed. We could hear him because he was yelling for the entire interaction. Extremely frustrating.

I love Mighty Taco, I do, but this particular location can not get an order correct. I think every 5 visits you might get 1 one spot on order...maybe... And it's not even complicated stuff. No tomatoes? No chance. Order a beef super mighty and a chicken taco, well they'll just reverse it. At this point I think if I order random items I have a better chance of getting what I want. Please, whoever runs this location, start caring and being hands on during a shift. This reeks of lax management.

The food was good. The employee's attitude was not! She didn't even bother to greet us when we walked in. Was short and snappy when talking to us. And couldn't muster a simple "thank you" when we placed our order. Sign in the window states "now hiring, $14 an hour". This young lady makes over $2 an hour more than I do and I work in a Drs office!! You would think she would have decent customer service.

We never had to wait more than 10- 15 minutes. Yes there were about 6 cars ahead of us but the wait was over a half hour. 3 cars left from behind us. Customer in front of us sat there for 5 minutes and no one opened the window. They left angry without their order. We waited and waited took forever 1 more minute we would have taken off. Young woman was apologetic when she took our money but gave us no reason for the slow service. Customers who are working have a limited time for lunch expect better.

The Delaware location in Buffalo is usually pretty lackluster but my most recent order was worse. This past time, the tortillas for our tacos were stale and rock hard. The chips for my nachos were stale. Everything was assembled poorly. Idk what the disconnect is with this location but it's been bad for years. Delaware in Tonawanda is a night and day difference to this location. How many managers before they get it right?

Drive thru is a train wreck after 11pm. Wrong order, 10 minute wait. No reply from corporate on order that had multiple items and ALL were prepared wrong. Oh well. It's only drunk food and I need to stop drinking so they did me a favor.

Specifically asked for two chicken tacos. Charged me for two chicken fajitas. Said again that I wanted chicken tacos and the lady at the drive thru said they were chicken tacos. Should have checked my order because when I got home, guess what? Chicken fajitas. :(

Their rice bowls are undercooked and crunchy. They also down sized many of their options and maintained the same price. This place us just getting worse and worse every time I visit.

Done! The owner must love having to throw money away on the amount of food they waste by messing up orders. No joke, they have messed up my orders at least 3x's more than they get it right. Never going to this location again.

Ordered through ubereats and when got my food it was wrong. Got charged extra just to go back and get the right food which wasn't even good or right. Worst experience at mighty ever!!! I go to might all the time and never had this problem before! Super disappointed.

Really bummed because I have had good experiences at mighty taco until today. I got a nacho buffito which is what I normally get. Slightly bummed when I got it with extra toppings and was so excited but it tasted nothing like it normally does. I came into the store because I don't think they gave me the correct item and the manager approached me she tried to get it solved and told me it was correct but there was no nachos in the burrito unless she gave me crumbs. I like mighty taco but I probably won't come back to this mighty taco. I ended up just throwing away the taco if only I could show a picture.

Not exactly sure why people like this. As a new resident of Buffalo, I've been told its a quick, easy, get-rid-of-your-hunger option. Seeing as I could only stomach one bite of Mighty Taco's Mighty Taco, my hunger wasn't really satiated. Gross sauce on clearly canned meat, a slice of tomato, and a SLICE of cheese? Its like a college dorm budget taco. It was disgusting.

Food was fine, decent value too. Giving me a hard time about a refill on my drink, not fine. Forgive me for visiting Mighty Taco for the first time and being unaware of your policy. Don't worry though, I won't be back.

Completely, Completely, Completely screwed my order up. I went over it with the girl three times and it still was Completely wrong. How is that even possible; unless someone is doing on purpose just to make sure you never come back!!!

I went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 hard shell tacos, medium with sour cream and their new diced onions. The bill was $4.98. Both shells were broken, the sour cream was only on half of each taco because it was mostly all over the inside of each bag, copious amounts of lettuce, which was due to the fact that there was hardly any meat in each taco. Then, to boot, they forgot their gloriously advertised diced onions! MT gets the big suck from me! 👎👎 Two thumbs down!!

Went there after a show was starving me and my girlfriend wanted something to eat I love the tacos so we went through the drive-through the girl who took care of us was absolutely horrible I have never ever been talked to that way let alone having someone just toss a bag at me..... never ever will I go back this happen August 4th midnight shift very sad that I won't be going back since I love your Taco's and burritos..

All of the tomato slices were comically in the same end if the taco. No one here cares about their job, or knows how to work even a little hard. And I see they offer a decent buck hourly too. Also havent been able to sleep all night because the food is ravaging my intestines. I don't know if the food is just to low quality or if its unsanitary, but something is very wrong.

Just waited in the drive thru line for 30 minutes only for my order to be messed up. Thought maybe there would be like 1 person in there doing everything themselves but there was literally 6 people inside and it still took that long. Just go to the store and get taco supplies, youll have food faster than i got mine

Are you kidding me. I actually went there to eat. With our group of 5 and 3 behind us, the cook seemed overwhelmed with one burrito thrown the length of the kitchen against a wall. A spatula hit the floor to meet a similar fate of being kicked across the kitchen. And that’s before we ate. Tacos with lettuce and tomato and nothing else. Burrito tastes awful.

Ummm I realize it's a "special" sale day BUT my order was taken at 6:02 and I am STILL WAITING FOR MY FOOD! It is 7:14! This is ridiculous! If you're going to have a special then staff up and prepare for the business!

Absolute joke of a “restaurant.” I had to repeat myself 5 times in the speaker and he didn’t even get my order right, not even my drink. I came back in because it was wrong, he asked to see my receipt but didn’t even repeat my order back. Was a manager for 4 years, even after that I still know protocol and it’s sad to see how below mediocre this company has become. Don’t waste your time here.

WARNING: Make sure your cup lids are tightened!! Worker in the drive-thru spilled Loganberry all over my car and clothes while handing me a drink. No apology, no offer to refill the spilled drink... didn't even give napkins. I understand mistakes happen but, at least, be responsive and take responsibility.

Ordered a Balito and got chicken and then I was told the ground beef is chicken which ground beef not chicken just cause you don’t want to do your job correctly. After more than two years, this place still can't hold staff or manage to get an order right. Order a burrito with jalapeños, they come in a bloody cup. My partner likes this place, but we never get our order properly filled.

Their google maps order links are mixed up between locations. I ordered through the google maps link and the order was sent to a different location. When I called in to ask about this and cancel the previous order, the person on the phone said "just put in another order again and call corporate for a refund". After doing just that, and informing corporate of a severe problem they should fix with their system, they refused to issue the refund the order that was sent to the wrong location due to their broken system and I never picked up. The staff was friendly but the ones at corporate are killing their own business by being awful. If I was running a business with multiple locations and my url links were mismatched on the order form, I would want to know about it to fix it, and not double charge customers who took the time to inform me.

Really bad food ordered 16.00 worth of food ,got it home just a few blocks away everything was cold , called and told the Mgr Paulette Suto , she said they would send me gift certificates and they did for 15 dollars , well i drove there and back and they couldn't even send me the 16 dollars ,it's not about the dollar ,why not send me 20 dollars for my time, Mgr.'s are supposed to be able to keep customers coming back , A Big no here , if this is how the customers are treated . i wonder about there employees

None of my food was made right, asked for no sour cream and triple checked that I told her, still had sour cream on it. Asked for mild got spicy no extra cheese or tomato on it (opened it and looked) so spicy my mom couldn’t even eat it and got to the window and had to pay again for my 3rd drink because it wasn’t even added to my order. I’m already 15 minutes into my hour and a half drive home and I’m towing a trailer. Really disappointed, should’ve went somewhere else, saved myself the $35 dollars.

Monica needs some customer service skills.shes the asst manager. Her employees put sour cream on my burrito and wouldn’t credit me unless I came back to location.i was on my lunch break and wanted me to come after I worked my long shift. She checked the camera and she verified they did make it wrong. Thank goodness I don’t have a dairy allergy. Do not go to this location, it’s awful. I ordered doordash today at around 11pm. I ordered two beef burritos and a steak quesadilla. They completely screwed up my quesadilla (gave ground beef and peppers instead of steak and no peppers) and gave me super mighty chicken with some orange spicy Mayo sauce instead of a plain beef burritos. This location is garbage.

Everyone told me not to go here and I should have listened. My husband ordered me a chicken and cheese burrito with no salsa, chips and nacho cheese, and a side of sour cream. The woman at the speaker box yelled at my husband when he didn’t hear her and asked her what she had said. I’m pregnant and beef makes me sick so I made sure to get a chicken burrito. We get home and they gave him a burrito with beef in it only! Nothing else! I understand everyone has an off night but don’t yell at us for not hearing you correctly and don’t spite us by giving us the wrong food. I went to mighty Taco tonight I ordered three mighty ground chicken tacos with extra cheddar shredded cheese on there. Two chicken fajitas. So I get my tacos I look in the bag The taco shell is basically empty I asked the representative in the drive-thru can I have more lettuce she said there's an extra charge for more lettuce I said there is only three pieces of lettuce on this taco and she had an attitude so she said well all right if you want it I'll give it to you. She sends someone else over with the lettuce They gave me extra letters for one taco not three. I didn't know they were rationing out lettuce. I will never do business with them again so petty.
