This was our 2nd visit with out of town guests in a week. A delightful evening was had by all. We had the clams, pesto pizza, crispy shrimp, beyond burger and more. Tonight was our first time dining at Neat. We had a gift card to use. Our server was Olivia. From the moment we sat down, she took care of us. She was friendly, upbeat, and helpful. The atmosphere was awesome. Relaxed yet trendy. I liked the darker ambiance/lighting. I had seen on Facebook that they had festive holiday drinks. So I was excited to try one. I ordered the Snow Miser. It's blue! It was really good. We ordered the crispy shrimp as an appetizer. Amazing! Spicy slaw was great. We ordered wood- fired pepperoni pizza with bacon and green olives. Outstanding! We also got garlic parmesan wings. Delicious. Olivia stayed on top of filling our water and asking us what we needed. She made the experience memorable. We will definitely be back. It's my new fave place!

I highly recommend this place! It was my second time here tonight. My friend and I were told it was an hour and a half wait and we could sit at the bar and eat. The service was incredible and so fast! Everything we got was delicious.

Picture NEAT, as the adult version of Fridays (restaurant). Just like Dave and Busters, is the adult version of Chucky Cheese. The decor is very mature and comfortable, with the right amount of dimness from the lights. The bar area is amazing, and seating is plentiful. There is a upstairs dining area, but I prefer sitting in the booth area located on the first floor. The drink menu is extensive, and every drink looks amazing. As for the food, the portion sizes do not disappoint. Charcuterie board- Delicious and quite filling Steak sandwich- (comes with side of fries) Was huge and quite tasty. I would’ve like mayo, lettuce, and sliced tomato as an option for this. But the aioli that they used, as a spread was ok. Three chord old fashioned- OMG… when I find a better word to say, I’ll update this review.

Came in on a Friday evening. Place was packed - inside and outside but everything was so organized. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts appetizer and the woodfire steak entree with truffle fries. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our server, Jenna S, was very attentive and friendly. The manager, Brian, also came over and checked up on us as well. Overall excellent experience.

Our server was attentive and enthusiastic. The drinks were great , perfectly peach was light and refreshing . Hot pepper dip, Angela salad, burger all great . The weather was nice so the doors were open for a nice lite breeze . They also gave a happy hour at the bar, apps, pizza , drinks.

I'm writing this review inside the restaurant because it's THAT GOOD. My mother and I went as a little treat for ourselves and each of us had the Woodfired French Onion and shared a Ricotta Pesto Woodfired pizza w/ added Proscuitto. The soup was absolutely wonderful. It was hot, fresh, and the cheese was incredibly well melted and slightly crispy - exactly what I would want for a french onion! The Ricotta Pesto pizza was incredibly refreshing and a fabulous way to break away from the traditional style of pizza we're used to. The tomatoes on top were juicy, the pesto was absolutely lovely, and the pizza itself was just wonderful in every way. My mother and I also shared their Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee. It was our first time having this type of dessert and it was topped with fresh raspberries and whipped cream. We were in LOVE with this dessert. For drinks, we shared a Strawberry Sangria Splash and a Lime in the Cocounut Mojito. Both drinks were crafted with incredible care and were filled with flavor. We were both captivated by the mojito and agree that it's our favorite. I'm ashamed to say I only have a couple photos of my drink and dessert because we were incredibly excited to eat our soups and pizza and just wanted to dig in.. but trust me, it was beautifully plated. Overall, we're absolutely in love with this place. Both interior and exterior seating are stunning. The staff were attentive, kind and caring in their services and we're incredibly grateful to have had such a wonderful first experience at Neat! HUGE thank you to our kind waitress Ariel and the kitchen staff for their craft! We both hope to be back again soon!

Wanted to give a special shoutout to Will! He made my mom and I’s night with free dessert when he found out we were passing through on our way to my next travel nurse assignment. His kindness did not go unnoticed! The food and drinks were all delicious. Will definitely be back if we find ourselves back in the area!

Got the Creole Salmon Benedict! It was very good. Onlynate half and I'm full already. The sauce was very good. I did think it would have more sausage in it. The cooks told my bartender the Salmon and sausage is basically like a crab cake. Perfect description.

Josh and Lindsey were awesome when I came on Sunday. I got brunch and the bottomless mimosas, it was all very good. I recommend this place.

Mckyla (Ky) (so sorry if I’m spelling that wrong) was the absolute best! So attentive and on top of the game! We came in for my moms birthday and she went out of her way to find us a candle and sing happy birthday when they don’t offer it. We would be honored to have her as our waitress every time we came in! She also made my dad and boyfriends first experience at Neat the best!

We loved the meatballs and the new braised short rib soup. Fun atmosphere and great service. Mackenzie was our server, and was very friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly and exactly as ordered.

We decided to come check this place out on a whim because the food looked really good online and when we arrived I realised the place looked VERY familiar. No wonder it looked so good. Its owned by the same people that own and run Vice in downtown buffalo which is one of my favorite places. I took 3 of my kids and one of our friends out for a little much needed fun and relaxing night out. We got SO much food. We really tried a little of everything. We ordered mostly a bunch of appetizers for everyone to share. Some seared tuna, chicken wings, grilled cheese and fries, huge meatballs in a marinara/red spaghetti sauce, Brussels sprouts in balsamic vinegar glaze, a hamburger, asparagus in a balsamic vinegar glaze, a flatbread margarita pizza, and 2 bowls of a really good short rib stew/soup that is served with some delicious bread/naan and served in these cast iron cauldron type bowls. The food was phenomenal. The service was amazing. The ambiance is really nice. There are some really spacious booth tables for bigger parties, as well as smaller tables, and outdoor patio dining that overlooks a cute man made pond with a fountain and some koi fish. Definitely come check this place out. You won't be disappointed! The only complaint that one of the kiddos had (my 7 year old) was that the grilled cheese was a little bit too crispy/charred for their liking but she spoke up about it when the owner (or manager?) came over and they brought her a new one out plus comped the item. I found the place to be pretty affordable for what we got. We ordered a lot of food and had plenty leftovers to take home to dad and our youngest kid who didnt come with us. We spent a little over 100 bucks before the tip but of course we didn't get alcoholic drinks which would have made the bill a lot more expensive. This place also rents out liquor lockers like the downtown sister-restaurant Vice.

Nice indoor/outdoor seating set up with good cover for questionable rain days. Great for lunch or dinner and covers a lot of bases from an after golf lunch stop to a night out. Great birthday dinner tonight for my friends! With NEAT as my first choice for my friends dinner gathering, I was very happy that the staff working allowed us to be the only diners to sit on the mezzanine level over-looking this amazing restaurant atmosphere! It was a great way to celebrate their birthdays & friendships over amazing dinner & desserts! Julie took great care of all our dining needs and it was was great to meet the manager, Ashley, with her great personality, positive vibes & good conversation! The Bartender John was very personable. The brussel sprouts are a must order appetizer. I also recommend the Balsamic Chicken W/ Arugula and the chopped Buffalo chicken salad. All great dishes. The atmosphere at this place was very laid back and relaxing they had all the doors open to the patio and it was an awesome night.

My wife and i stopped in for lunch. We were seated right away. Everything looked good on menu, it was hard to decide on what to eat. The french onion soup was fantastic as well as the hot pepper dip. The steak pizza was perfect. Cant wait til we're in the area again!

Such a nice time coming here to catch up with my girlfriend! The food was delish, i upgraded brussels sprout, omg 10/10! perfectly crisp, and seasoned. Marena was our server and she is such a sweet girl! Her energy was so positive and made the experience that much more enjoyable!

My dinner tonight was a great experience! My server Katie was an absolute gem. Super welcoming, attentive and sweet. She gave great recommendations on both food and drinks. If I needed anything she was right there being ready to help. The girl that got us seated was so nice and got us sat super quick for our reservation time. I loved trying a couple of the new summer cocktails and whoever made these knows what they are doing! This will have to be my new dinner spot for sure.

I absolutely love this place. They have a variety of food options that are Gluten Free, including a build your own pizza! Their whiskey selection is quite large for this area, with knowledgeable staff. I’m also very happy with their Sunday hours! This is literally my new favorite place to eat in all of Buffalo. I’ve been here +20 times so far, and never had a bad experience.

We ordered drinks and dinner. The drinks were very good and to our surprise the price was great! I had the Neat burger and a Caesar salad that I shared with my husband. Both were delicious. Our waiter was Will. He was super friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be back!

We had our holiday party at Neat on 12/12/24. Mia put together a nice menu that everyone enjoyed. My favorite was the arancini. The food was so good and plentiful. The bartender and waitress were so efficient. They took care of our group so well. And they couldn’t have been nicer! It makes a difference when people enjoy their work. I would definitely consider returning next year. Our group felt that the price we paid was very reasonable for what we received.

Neat is, well, pretty neat. I did not have the chance to have any food because I was just there for drinks. If you would like to know yes, they will not let you have a table if you are not there for food. Which makes total sense because they could have those tables for customers were there to eat and possibly spend more money. However it would have been nice to have had seats for 11 people who are there for drinks with over $150 bar tab. All that being said we had a great time hanging out of the bar and I really appreciate the availability of a dark beer that is on tap. Not sure if I've ever had KBs on tap but it's always a favorite to get bottled when it is available. I am really interested I'm coming in for a dinner date next time.

Had datenight here on a weekday. It was one of the first nice spring days so we sat outside. Its first come first serve for outside dinning. I had the steak sandwich w/ Dijon mashed potatoes and a blueberry mojito. I definitely recommend the mojito! Steak sandwich was nothing special. BUT the Dijon mashed potatoes are BOMB!!! My bf got the bourbon burger and he loved it. This is a nice date night spot if you're not in the mood for your normal go to. We will be putting it in the rotation. Look forward to coming back for more specialty drinks and Dijon mashed!

I eat gluten free and dairy free and it’s often hard to find something besides a salad when dining out. But today I had some yummy choices. I didn’t expect the squash soup to be dairy free but it was and it was delicious!! That’s all I really would have needed but I ordered it at the last minute. The asparagus is usually cooked in butter but the cook used oil for mine. The veggie cauliflower rice was very interesting. I think it had pickled onions in it and something that gave it a sweet taste. Thank you for offering and marking your menu with GF options and thank you to our server for double checking that the foods were safe for me to eat.

The atmosphere is fun, food is delicious and service was amazing. We are from Canada visiting family in Buffalo and saw this restaurant. We went there on a Saturday night without a reservation (our fault) , we waited approximately 1 hour but man was it worth it! I will definitely make the trip back to this place.

Beautiful restaurant in a nice area. Customer service was great my burger was good but the broccolini was hard as a rock. The mashed potatoes were cold on my plate as well as a friends plate the pizza was good. The shrimp with the sauce was the highlight of night. Drinks were good. The ice cream tower with the cookie was good as well.

Neat has amazing wood-fired pizza, we had the steak one and can definitely recommend. Great sauce on it too. The pizzas at this restaurant are NOT authentic Italian, but rather American style.

We ordered a few craft beers from their menu, which had a good variety of options, and they paired nicely with the appetizers we chose. The arancini were perfectly crispy on the outside with a creamy, flavorful filling, while the crispy shrimp were light, crunchy, and seasoned just right. The truffle fries were also a highlight, rich, aromatic, and served in a generous portion. What really stood out were the marinara and pesto dips, which tasted incredibly fresh and balanced, complementing every bite. I also noticed they serve firewood pizza, and it looked amazing coming out of the oven, definitely something I’d want to try on my next visit. Overall, the food and vibes were great, and even though the prices were on the higher side, the quality made it worth it. I’d definitely consider coming back again.

Foods fantastic. Haven't ate anything I didnt like yet. Servers are slow and if you order to go, you'll likely be ignored when picking it up. I waited 30 minutes at the bar with no one acknowledging me. Got my food finally after waiting and it was cold. Free fries doesn't make it right, or worth it. Won't make that mistake again. Dine in on a slower night for a better experience.

Enjoyed a birthday with multiple generations. We started with a bowl the short rib soup for all to share: it was excellent. 2 cocktails were ordered and a whisky of the month neat. The mule was well balanced and the whisky was good but the old fashioned was a little too sweet being prepared with an infused simple syrup rather than sugar. Entrees took a little longer than we hoped. Burgers were prepared well done when asked for medium and medium-rare but well put constructed. Salads came out without dressing (remedied) and compared to the portion of fries on a burger plate (half the plate and a very generous heaping) the vegetable substitution was no more than 10 stalks. Think a small pack of markers. The Shaved beef on the tacos and sandwich was hamburger, good hamburger but it wasn't shaved beef. Lastly they will only split checks by monetary amount. Any modern system should be able to move items onto new checks, it seems like they are overcomplicating group meals. Especially when they did not ask before dropping the check. The building is well decorated, there is a set of bottle lockers, a huge bar and a giant patio (for much better weather ❄️) that is open to the front and back lots as well as the main building via giant glass garage doors. This meant that we were cold! For a place that thought ahead and door are either far from tables or double with a heated vestibule, most of our party kept their coat on. Might enjoy it more on a warmer day.

Good service, we had 3 different appetizers and soup. The brussel sprouts, the arancini, the pepper cheese dip with rustic bread, and the braised short rib soup. The arancini was really good, strong garlic flavor. The brussel sprouts were also great, charred, very flavorful, yet very salty, I'm a person that loves salt, so for me to say they were salty, they were really salty. The Hungarian pepper cheese dip with rustic bread was mediocre. Not very flavorful. The short rib soup was our least favorite, very little short rib in the soup, it was really tender meat, although the soup was more like a bowl full of gravy. Neither one of us ate it after a couple bites. we considered getting dessert, they had a lemon cake on the menu, we asked the waitress the size of the cake and she said probably a little smaller than a Wegmans cake slice, and they wanted $9 for it! Those four things we ordered plus a bottle of water was $65, extremely overpriced. Don't get me wrong it was good food but for that price you should be tempted to lick the plate.

I got the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos and my boyfriend got the Steakhouse Burger. Overall an okay experience. In all honesty, I would expect this kind of food from Dave and Busters. It wasn’t bad, and we weren’t upset at the meal- but just severely disappointed. Bill came to $58 with tip and in my opinion, we seriously overpaid for the quality of our food. Service was okay, and the server was nice.

This place tries to be upscale but is low quality with high prices. We were appalled when we watched as a waiter cleaned the table by wiping everything onto the floor. The table was also soaking wet when the customers were seated. The chips with the spinach artichoke dip were soggy and hard to chew, like they were fried the day before and microwaved. The drinks were good.

We have we both had salad with salmon and the salmon had a very strong fish salty taste and almost as if it was deep fried or fried in a lot of oil it was not good. I asked the waitress if this was supposed to be grilled salmon she said it is grilled on a flat top , obviously with a lot of oil and more like frying.

This place appears New since it’s so clean and no sign of worn/broken items. We visited twice!! A lot of very attractive female staff. 1st Visit, I had the Chicken Parm and it was very nice. Cesar salad was very nice. So good we wanted to come back to try the pizza! Our waiter was expedient with providing service and they were crowded. 2nd Visit, I pushed my luck. Had the Balsamic pizza with Arugula. It had too much of the arugula and not enough balsamic. Kinda dry and the crust not so appealing. Not as crowded as the first night and our waitress was slow providing service. I saw her waiting on our area, the opposite end of restaurant and even outside. The 2nd visit was a letdown and not worthy of a tip!

We didn't have the greatest experience here. My husband who is a bit of a Scotch connoisseur, asked for a double shot of a barrel strength type of bourbon and specifically asked for no ice, and he received his drink with ice. Our server who was sweet (but extremely busy tending to other patrons) returned the drink to the bar and came back a few minutes later with what appeared to be a new drink in a different cup, but clearly due to the residue film at the top of the drink, you can tell that the ice 🧊 was simply removed from the previous drink and that the bourbon was poured into a new glass. We both put our finger in the drink and it was ice cold which bourbon shouldn't be. It should be room temperature to enjoy the original flavor. We also shared appetizers which were good (burata & crispy Brussel sprouts) and another server brought both plates out and I asked for smaller plates so that my husband and I could share and she said sure and never came back with plates. The table of 4 across from us that hadn't received any food yet, she brought out 4 small plates for them. Granted she wasn't our original server, but the least she could have done was informed our server of our request. After those 2 incidents we both were just turned off and decided not to order an entree, paid our bill (which took another 20 mins to get because of how busy are server was with far too many tables to handle) and we left. We are from Toronto, Canada and come to Buffalo often and have always wanted to check out N|eat but were disappointed in especially the service 😞. Customer is usually always right. If we are paying $15 for 2 ounces of alcohol, get the order right the first time and if not, correct it by making a new order altogether and not by altering the wrong order to remove the ice. Not impressed. 🙄

Haven’t been to Neat in a while, decided to stop by for a bite after a long day. We got stuffed peppers, and the stuffed avacado for an app. The peppers were green and quite seeded inside, the avocado was brown. I was not served my cocktail until after our dinner came, despite several “cocktail is coming” comments. But was able to see it sitting on the bar for the better part of 25 minutes. The Caesar was bland. We waited for a really long time for our check after having our plates cleared and asking twice. The restaurant was not packed by any means, it was a more quiet evening than any others I’ve had there.

I didn't think the food was that good or anything special. The one meatball I got looked and tasted like it got lost in a crockpot for days. Overall the restaurant was clean and the staff was attentive.

This place is exactly like that 2 dudes with a crazy idea meme. You’re just paying $50 for mediocre burgers and mediocre drinks. I’d only go here if you want to feel like you’re looking for an airport restaurant vibe paying for overpriced food you can get for cheaper and better elsewhere (NYBP). I got the Brussels Sprouts which were bland and broken apart. I got the steak burger which tasted like any other mediocre burger sourced from US Foods or Sysco. The only thing decent about this place were the fries which if they offered that as a standalone dish I’d pay $13 for that unlike the Brussel Sprouts.

I come here quite often, and have always enjoyed the bar staff as well as the food. I came in tonight, anticipating having dinner. Unfortunately, it was absolutely freezing to the point that I could no longer stay. Instead of staying until about 9 PM, I ended up leaving just after six. I was at the bar tonight and got a piece of glass in my mouth from a draft beer.. I let the bartender know, she acts like it was no big deal and said “ok I’ll get you another one”. She was not shocked at all. I asked for a bottle this time and eat with my sandwich.. I get the bill and she charges me for the beer. No apologies, no nothing. Edit. Thank you owner for responding. I would recommend to just let your staff know to maybe be more concerned when a customer gets a piece of glass in a drink. A comp drink was the least of my concern. It was more the brushing off like it was common practice for that place. I’m not dr. But I imagine it’s very dangerous to swallow pieces of glass.

Absolutely awful experience - bartenders did not take orders and did not serve as expected. Seems like a good place, with good vibes - but terrible staff. I’m sorry to leave such a bad review, but this was unacceptable.

Made reservations for a booth earlier in the week. We checked on 1 hour early. When it came time to get our table, they did not have one available. Explanation was well we got busier than we thought we would. No remorse they’re giving a booth that seats eight to a couple that tied up the table for an hour and a half. Don’t expect us to return not to mention it’s freezing cold in this place no heat! Manager should have planned in advance to save a table for our party of six knowing we had a reservation and not roll the dice and whether people would be done

Update to original review: I wish Neat would take better care of their regular customers. I've spent thousands of dollars at their establishments over the past few years. Today we walked in and the hostess said she had to get a manager to see if she could seat us in the last available booth. He came over and said they are waiting for a reservation to come in about 20 minutes (while all the years I've been coming they say they dont take reservations for booths it was clear they were hoping to get more than 2 people sitting there) I even asked about upstairs seating and he said he had a 20 top coming in. No other suggestions or approximate wait time given not even a single effort to act as if he cared at all.
