Wehrle Restaurant Buffalo Reviews
Excellent, homestyle feeling. Taste of Fish Fry was superb. Waitresses were friendly and attentive.
This place has been a favorite of mine for years. The staff is always friendly, service is fast even when they're packed, and the food is of consistent quality. The bloody Mary's and mimosas are a nice addition.
Very nice place for great food at decent prices. Service is efficient yet friendly. You can't beat their Wehrle Special breakfast in price and taste anywhere in the Snyder, Amherst area.
This is my family's new favorite place! I've been here twice and we have had good experiences with both food and service. This is the perfect No Frills diner we've been looking for.
Greek themed diner that's been my go to spot since I was a child. The Friday fish fry is overlooked by the papers but it's the best in town in my opinion. Huge filet and unbeatable flavor, and on top of that it's affordable.
I have been going for years. Ever since the change in management the food has improved and the servers are extremely nice. It is a clean and nice atmosphere. I would reccomend going there.
My go to item here is the patty melt. Always delicious and served with fries. Service is quick & excellent and the dining area is always kept clean & comfortable.
the food is so good there ? Will be going back, and the staff was excited too .
I was in with my family this Sunday morning and they were jam packed. Even though they were busy we got our food pretty quick and it tasted fantastic 10/10. They always have weekend specials that are great. The price was reasonable
Excellent service this time around! I hadn't been there for quite a while due poor food and service. I decided to give them another try since I heard they changed. My omelette was great and my son's pancakes were huge and tasty. My home fries could have benefitted with a little less salt, but it wasn't terribly salty.
This is our go to brunch. So many places are going down hill but this place is a great little spot. The family who runs it is so nice. They cook a good and quick breakfast. If your looking for a quiet low key diner this place is for you
Food was fantastic!! Our server wasn't very friendly. But majority of the people who work here are very friendly people. I'd recommend this restaurant. My daughter loved her food as well.
This is a hidden gem of a resturant! Family owned, wonderful staff! So many delicious food choices you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Great prices, quick service! If you have ever considered stopping in Do It!! You won't regret it!
Good food at a cheap price! I like to support the privately owned businesses. I come here at least once a week or once every other week depending on my schedule. Go for the buffalo chicken melt with hot sauce on the chicken fingers.
Just what you would expect in an old time diner.
A very nice, small, family owned diner. The food is good, the prices aren't too bad and they have a large parking lot. I always go for the lemon chicken soup and it's amazing!
Their meat lovers omelette did not disappoint. Home fries were not your typical shredded or cubes. They were sliced potatoes. Menu prices were reasonable. Will have to stop in for lunch or dinner someday.
I cannot remember a bad meal here. Either eat in or get it to go. Clean, Great Staff and Food. Americana / Greek menu. One of my favorites is Friday fish dinner. Much to choose from. Since new management about 2 years or so, it has changed 180 degrees. Now I invite friends there. Big portions of really good food.
Great family dinner. Extremely pleasant and genuinely happy staff. We just moved to area, and couldn't be more pleased that Wehrle is right around the corner.. err um circle? My daughter gives it 2 forks up.
This place is the best place if you want a quiet or quick bite to eat. It's never too noisy or overcrowded. And I do like the diner food they offer.
Great food. Comfortable atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. Personable staff.
I came in here just looking for something quick to take out, I was greeted right away, and served. I was told the open chicken slovacki was great. I was not steered wrong! Fresh greens, and veggies, perfectly cooked chicken, great portion size. I will return to dine in! Very highly reccomend for a classic salad.
Warm welcoming mom and pops Restaurant been coming to this place for 3 generations the two previous owners and the new one. Some recipes differ but are good ol homemade Greek cuisine none the less. Very much worth the trip!
Fantastic staff, very friendly and down to earth. They were very responsive to top off beverages and answered any questions our party had regarding the menu. Truly great people.
Very nice quaint place good food decent prices
Went in there for Dinner for the first time and I must say I am very impressed! The chicken rice bowl and stuffed Salmon was amazing! The Resteraunt was super clean and the staff was friendly. The vibe is great if your looking for a family style diner then definitely check it out. Will be visiting again!
Great prices, fantastic food and really attentive, fast service. Wonderful place, consistently good all around
Food and service was excellent. Everything was fresh and served hot. We came in for breakfast and it was great. The prices are the best around town. Every weekend there are amazing specials. Their fire roasted apple cinnamon french toast was absolutely delectable. Definitely recommended!
I love a Greek diner and so maybe my review is a bit biased. The server was nice and patient allowing our table to stay for 2 hours even though we were done eating after the first one. Food came really quickly and everything tasted great.
A lovely diner to stop in. The food was excellent. Had a special chicken parm sub and a cheesy chicken soup. The cooks know what they are doing. The staff and the atmosphere made it a pleasant place to grab lunch.
this restaurant is very reasonably priced and usually very busy. the food is wonderful and they have a great variety to choose from.
We looked all over for a diner serving burgers and milkshakes. You think that would be easy, but it wasn't. Nice, spacious interior with tables, booths AND diner/counter seating. The food? Simply delicious! The burgers were cooked perfectly order, toppings fresh and crisp and flavorful. Milkshakes? Thick, creamy made with real ice cream. Mmmmchocolate! Ok, besides the food we were looking for...the menu is extensive, bfast lunch dinner, Greek and reg salad options and a lot of dessert options. Looking for homemade rice pudding? Ok, it's niche, but it's yummy and homemade here. Super friendly and attentive service, very clean throughout! Ample parking.
Excellent beer batter fish fry to go.
My husband and I go to this restaurant almost every week for breakfast. All the staff are so sweet and attentive. The food is excellent every time. I love going here because the atmosphere is great too.
Genuine delicious potato pancakes. And yes you can get them served with your fish fry Wisconsin style!
Generous portions, reasonable prices, staff was cool.
We usually order takeout, but on two occasions we dined in and the experience was excellent: great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and quality service.
Food and service are very good every time I visit for breakfast.
Really good food on our first visit. My wife and I both had burgers and she had soup and I had fries as a side. All very good. The coffee was better than average. The only minor complaint is the small size of the four person tables. Understood as this place is popular and they need the space. Get a booth if you can.
It's an icon. A landmark. Living history. If you're interested in the true diner experience. Diners as I imagine them back in the day on route 66. Or diners people frequented back when honeymoons were spent at Niagara falls. That's what you'll get. Food is excellent, made to order. Wait staff is delightful, prices are very reasonable. I look forward to my next visit. Great breakfast sandwich
Another great restaurant! I came here for breakfast with my parents, we couldn't decide on what to get because everything looked so good! We definitely have to come back here again. The food was very delicious. We got our food pretty fast too. I think that's because it wasn't busy at all, it should be busier! A huge menu to look at, something to try for everyone. I had their French Toast, I've been on a little journey to find the best French Toast, and this is the best I've ever tasted! Definitely try it if you go here. The special for the day was potato pancakes, my dad had that and I took a little bite. Another really delicious food! If that's the special for the day, get it! The staff was very nice too.
Very nice place to sit and get your breakfast. The owner asked us if everything was okay I told him terrific. We became friends instantly as we have the same heart for food
Only thing that stops 5 stars for great small diner is that prices have soared. Great service, good solid fare, but coffee and dessert add-ons after everyone getting an entree put this into the pricey lunch range.
Classic diner, with the usual Buffalo area Greek cuisine additions. Really good burgers, fries are fine. Waitress was great, knows exactly what she's doing.
I've only been to Wehrle twice. The first time was a while back, I don't remember what I ordered, and I couldn't tell you how it tasted. But it must have been somewhat decent for me to randomly think of this place one morning, and think, "wow I haven't been there in a while, let's go!". I recently came here on a Sunday morning. Online I read they open at 8am, but when I was reading the signs coming in, and the front of their menu, it read 7am. Waiting in my car a few extra minutes I guess wasn't too bad. You could tell walking in they had their regular guys - who sit up at the counter and have coffee. We were told by Christina, who was our waitress, we could sit wherever, and we picked a booth along the windows. Even though it was seven in the morning, I ended up ordering the open chicken souvlaki which ended up being a very good size. The chicken was tender, light on the feta cheese, ended up asking for an extra side. You only receive two small pieces of pita bread, it's more like half of a full pita and then cut in half again. I also ordered another side of pita bread as well. I opted for tzatziki sauce instead of their dill sauce, which is apparently different from one another. The tzatziki was flavorless, I ended up adding salt and pepper to it. It tasted like flavorless thick Greek yogurt with chopped up cucumbers, and it looked bland too. Maybe I'll try the dill sauce next time? I also asked for a side of Gyro, which was good. I ate mine with mustard. I believe I received either three or four pieces. My first complaint is the Greek dressing situation. It's shared. They put it in those ugly, greasy, dressing bottles, where the cap doesn't fit all the way on, and your left there wondering how you're supposed to mix the dressing together when all the seasoning is on the bottom, and the oil is floating on top. Was that considered a run on sentence? Is it too hard to give someone a side of it, like maybe in a plastic cup? I ended up holding the cap tight and shaking lightly, hoping it mixed thoroughly. It's honestly a pet peeve of mine, that I won't shake. My last thought is how long does it sit in that bottle before they clean it out, wash the bottle, then put fresh in? OK rant about ugly dressing bottles, over. Our waitress was attentive, she wasn't busy, had a few tables as well as ours. I wasn't made to feel like family, as I expected to feel from a somewhat small diner. I guess there was a customer service interaction lacking. I'm very needy as some would put it, I ask too many questions, I seem to always need something, if I say thank you, I don't expect an "your welcome" back everytime, but at least once would have been nice. I like to feel acknowledged, and I kind of felt that, that was lacking. I don't know if they expected to be massively busy that Sunday, but when I was cashing out, there were about four waitresses who had just got on the clock when two were already on. It felt somewhat too many for such a small establishment, but who knows, maybe they get those kinds of crowds.
Great tasting food, reasonable prices, and fast service. The only problem was that the lemon chicken rice soup was too thick and lemony for my taste. Otherwise, a filling and inexpensive meal was provided.
This place is just so consistent. I hadn't been to The Wherle for well over a decade. The eggs and bacon were delicious, as was the coffee. Nice servers, great hospitality, and consistently good food.
We had very nice breakfast, a new item (French toast roll) was unique with a slight crunchy texture on the outside (with strawberries or blueberry and cream cheese inside) was a great choice if you are a French toast person. Great service with a warm and friendly staff. Only complaint (which we chose to ignore) was the table was a little wobbly which caused our coffee and tea to spill if someone put their elbow on it.
We have a monthly breakfast club and always have great service and no problem with separate checks. I good menu for breakfast and reasonable prices. The breakfast sandwich is a favorite of mine. Update Sep2022 5 friends stopped in for an early lunch. service was friendly and prompt, as to be expected. I can recomend the Crispy Chicken sandwich as ith mushrooms. Will get it again.
New owner is very personable and dedicated to improving the dining experience, food and atmosphere. He sat down and talked with us candidly and was very responsive to our requests and suggestions. Give it a try if you haven't been back in years. Solid diner fare at a reasonable price. Very good chicken finger sub and souvlaki.
Dinner was great. Service was wonderful. A little disappointed with baklava. Ordered two takeout options as well and they were just as good second day as when ordered. Parking is a bit tight but overall a great experience
A nifty little diner in a lovely part of town. If you want regular diner fare with decent service at a good price, this will do the trick. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and the seating is comfortable.
Good food, reasonable prices. My husband and I found this while running errands and we'll definitely be going back
I ordered an omelette. It was prepared well, and portion sizes were generous. My coffee was never cold, old or empty. The serving staff was attentive and well trained. The one waitress kept breaking out into song which I found highly entertaining. The food was good. The atmosphere was pleasent and the prices were reasonable.
The potatoes were cook to hard and dry but the rest of the food was good. Restaurant need a face lift. But good service and friendly.
Service was absolutely great. I ordered the Steak Strip with Mashed Potatoes w/ their homemade Gravy, vegetables and rice lemon soup. Everything was awesome. Nice and quiet and so comfortable. Food was ready in minuets. I'll definitely be coming here again...
Nice little stop for lunch. Chicken Souvlaki is tasty as are all its offerings. Clean, tidy, the wait staff is friendly.
Food was delicious and came out pretty quick when were were finally about to order. Service was alittle slow. Felt that our server forgot about us a few times.
I remember when there were three restaurants on this corner. Jimmy's, Four Seasons, and the Wehrle. Today, only the Wehrle remains. The restaurant has gone through numerous owners over the years and frankly I had not been there in quite a while, so I thought I'd give it a try. The food and the service here are excellent! The waitresses are wonderful. The service is fast but not rushed, and the whole staff is very friendly.
Went here to eat with a friend for breakfast was more than satisfied with the service and the food. Has that old school diner feel which makes it even better. I will be back with the family and the prices are very reasonable! The only issue we had was that we paid $1 extra for fresh strawberries and they were clearly frozen then thawed. Other than that it’s been a great experience every time we visit
Warm comfort food for an eat it and beat it Greek backed diner. Friendly staff but realistically it is a little pricey by a couple of bucks . Large portions make up for it and solid consistent food and service. I'm an open giro type with extra tazeki. Go ahead and try it...locally owned and that's good for the community.
Even though soulvaki is one of my favorites I haven't tried it since going back a couple of times for lunch. This used to be a popular spot 10-15, maybe 20 years ago, but I think the business has changed hands since that time and the food isn't quite the same. To be fair I'll update my review after having the soulvaki and some breakfast, which are Greek restaurant staples. My first visit back I tried the broiled fish sandwich, being that it was my week off from fried fish. It was ok, but most places broiled fish are just ok. The portion was kind of small so that was a bit disappointing. All said and done the food was just ok. If you're watching what you're eating this would be a good option for you. My second visit was better because I ordered the club sandwich. I had every intention of ordering some soulvaki but I didn't. The classic turkey club was on point so I'm glad I ordered it. My lunch mate ordered a Greek salad which looked nice and fresh, but we were surprised that it didn't come with a piece of pita bread. It cost extra so oh well! The atmosphere is cool with a mix of patrons from various backgrounds and ages. I noticed a few torn booths so a refresh would be nice. Like I previously said I'll update my review once I have breakfast and some soulvaki. If you live or work in the neighborhood I recommend it, but if you don't I have to hold off on a recommendation.
This place came highly recommended. The servers weren't very welcoming, and their service for us was fair. I had an omlete with hash browns, and it immediately made my stomach sour.
I’m pretty disappointed I normally love coming here! Today I ordered an open chicken souvlaki with extra pita. When I opened it up, I had four tiny pieces of chicken , Pete us are hard doesn’t even feel like they’ve been cooked at all and on top of that it looks like they gave me a handful of lettuce! then to top it off I was charged $25 for it. Left a five dollar tip even though I was doing takeout just to open it and find this.
This is a typical old fashioned diner with a nice atmosphere. The service was nice and the dining room was clean. The food is exactly what I would expect from a local diner. The prices are reasonable, if slightly higher than competitors in the surrounding area. I would like to give 3.5 stars, but can't quite justify 4.
I initally tried this restaurant awhile back when the new owners took over and it was disappointing. I decided to give it another go , but was equally let down. The chicken in the soulvaki was extremely bland and almost seemed boiled with no grill marks or searing of the meat. My daughter ordered pancakes and she said they tasted "sour". The coffee and toast were good. I will say the service was phenomenal and our waitress treated us with kindness and was very attentive.
I decided to stop here after working three night shifts in a row at a local hospital. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict and a cup of coffee. The gentleman at the counter served me coffee right as I walked in and the service was exceptional. However, the service is the only reason why I would come back as I did not really enjoy the food I was served. The potatoes were undercooked and bland and the eggs Benedict itself did not wow me. The gentleman who I assumed was the host would sit in a booth behind the counter in-front of the tv and wait while the two ladies serving were cashing people out, busing, etc. He sat there drinking a cup of coffee and even used the container of sugar I was using and pretty much grabbed from where I was eating, which isn’t exactly inappropriate but I found odd and a little off putting that a staff member was using the same sugar I was (maybe I’m over reacting) then possibly saw my face as I was surprised and offered me more coffee. The restaurant itself needed a facelift and the counter where I was sitting started to break down in the one corner. Overall, the service by the two waitresses this morning were the highlight of my experience as they both seemed to have a good rapport with their regulars.
The pictures in the menu are different then the food they serve, meaning the "Homefrys" were sliced potatoes unseasoned with semi-raw potatoes on top. The eggs were cooked perfect and the corned beef has was cold. The waitress never filled our drinks and the owner was vacuuming the carpets when were eating our meal plus training. They were rushing us to leave so we couldn't add anything extra to our order because she said she closed the kitchen. it was 7:45 pm. (The menus say there open until 9pm.
my tzatziki sauce tasted like plain sour cream and my fries were old. They were hot so I felt they were old and reheated. But had old fry texture and chewiness... burger (wherle burger) that was ordered was flavorless, boring.
Cute diner environment. Gave this two stars just for that. Ate here twice. First time I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It was so bland and dry. Second time I ordered the lamb souvlaki over caesar salad. Souvlaki was just okay.
Since the most recent review in here was about a year old, I thought it was time for an update. There was no AC so it was hot and stuffy in there! The waitress was nice, but never came back during our meal to refresh drinks! I am told that the recent decline in this restaurant has to do with the death of the owner (who apparently prepared much of the food). All I can say is that the food is all pre-prepared and you can tell. The apps came out in about a minute, meaning they were all frozen and just thrown in a fryer! The calamari was dry and rubbery, the steak was overcooked, dry, tough and under-seasoned, the marinara was barely room temp and thin and watery, the greek potatoes were so salty I couldn't eat them, the gyro meat was very obviously from a can, and the pieces of cake we got for dessert were dry on the edges like they had been sitting out for quite some time! I also heard two other tables (out of the 3 other tables that were filled while we were there....it was DEAD!) complain about the quality of the food! I can't say that I know why the food quality is so poor, but I will be surprised if they can stay open much longer with food like that!
Service was slow. Coffee took forever. It's a breakfast place. Coffee is always ready. The meatloaf was awful. The Caesar salad was tasteless.
First time, and sadly our last. Driven by many times and looked looked to trying. Finally had time. Nice though inaccurate menu. Tasteless clam less clam chowder, undercooked fish, and no one would address these issues. Server was nice. Manager has the customer service attitude of righteousness. Keep driving by. :(
This was our first time eating here. I had the spinach pie with home fries. The pie was dried out and both the pie and home fries were so salty I could hardly eat them. We weren't asked if we wanted drink refills. Service terrible. Wouldn't accept my coupon. Won't be back.
Food was mediocre. Waitress was just ok. Food was bland, homefries had no color, my pancakes were flat and gummy and my boyfriend had a gnat fall in his food.
I want there about 11:30 or so to have breakfast I had stuffed French toast with strawberries and bacon the person who is with me had chocolate chip pancakes eggs and sausage it took a long time for us to get our order and of course by the time it came it was cold the waitress was very nice she wants to have them heated up but it really wasn't that hot I told her it was okay cuz I didn't want to send it back again the food was okay I don't think I'd go back I have to say it was very clean
Waitress was sweet. Food was bad. Waffle was wet , from strawberry preserve which I thought were gonna be fresh. Well it made my waffle disgustingly soggy. I ordered a side chicken fingers for a “chicken and waffle” type of meal. The chicken took forever to come out , literally the last thing out of everyone’s meal. Just for it to be exactly ONE unseasoned chicken cutlet? Lol idk. Tasted my friends home fries, very bland. Definitely the price (get wat u pay for tho)& the mimosas is the best thing!
I have been a fairly regular diner at the Wehrle Family Restaurant for 22 years. Tonight I went with my family. We placed our order, waited and waited. Eventually my husband went up to the counter and told them that the three groups that came in after us had their food already while we were waiting. The older waitress said the food we ordered took longer to prepare. Maybe but not that much longer. From there on out, rather than apologize and try to improve the situation the staff stayed away like we had the plague. When the food did arrive the waitress plopped it down and ran. It's not the wait staff's fault if the cook didn't prepare the food in a timely manner but it was their fault that they dealt with it poorly. I doubt I will go there again any time soon there are just too many other better options.
For a slice of cheesecake in a slice of chocolate pie 18 .00 that's insane. The last time the girl messed up my burger and burned it it was disgusting. I'm done going here .
This was the worst food I've ever tasted. They have new owners. He just took over the place 3 days ago and it is God awful. Waited 45 minutes for a chicken dinner that was burned frozen chicken patties and disgusting mashed potatoes. This place should be burned down to the ground. Awful. Please stay away!
We didn't enjoy a single part of this dining experience- the service was slow and forgetful (she was pleasant but I'd rather have good service than a cheerful waitress), food was cooked poorly and when I told the waitress it wasn't prepared as ordered she just threw it out and said she would inform the cook, no offer to have it remade or taken off the bill though I only had one bite, we waited 40 minutes to get the beverages we ordered with our meal order, she never checked on us once we had our food, until she was ready to give us the bill though we continued to ask where our server was. Overall just awful. We ordered Fresh strawberries and cream but received thawed, syrupy strawberries and reddi whip. The 11 monmth old at the table got them. For the baby we ordered the one egg and one pancake kids meal with apple juice. The apple juice seemed to be iced tea judging by taste. My friend ordered a tuna melt with tomato and fries. The tomato had to come as a side since it was forgotten and the fries were old, dried out and seemed overdone. She also had a Monsoon salad and took it home to her husband because it tasted off to her. She ordered coffee, water and a chocolate milkshake. The milkshake took 40 minutes. I ordered breakfast souvlaki with beef. When asked how I would like it cooked I said medium-rare and eggs over medium. I also substituted fries for Greek potatos. The cuts of beef were cooked extremely well done, the one bite I had was tough and tasted burnt. Also, no seasoning as is traditional on souvlaki. Fries were old, dried out and seemed overdone. I also ordered water and a vanilla shake. I never received a refill on my water and the shake arrived 40 minutes after placing my order. We were shocked that our server didn't offer to remove the item from the bill or have it remade. Additionally, waited 10 minutes for server to return to collect the bill and she never came back. Manager at counter seemed confused as to why we were there. Now we know why since that is the single worst dining experience I've had since moving to Buffalo. Please never go there.
Two of us spent $50 to have three bites of food because we literally could not eat more. The bacon was horrible, home fries were a mix of hard and soggy, the eggs had shells and water in the bowl with them. Even the pancakes were barely edible. The only tolerable thing was coffee there.
Staff is friendly but being friendly doesnt make a good waitress. I had to ask to get a refill on my drink. Food was not the best, but it was hot. Ill give them that. I ordered a chicken wrap, the chicken was pretty dry (which is why i needed a refill on my drink) prices are up there. Wont be returning
Food should be hot and properly served when eating in this dump. They need to hire a real cook who knows how to make real home fries. Food is really mediocre and I guess all these 5 star reviews are mediocre diners.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!$40 for 2 breakfasts!Whoppee
This was the first time I ordered fish fry from here. It eill definitely be my last time ! First dinners were burnt. I returned those 2nd dinners fish was done properly but one of the smallest piece of fish I have gotten on.a dinner . 3 slices of Greek potatoes ,approx 4 spoons of coleslaw. Never ever again should be ashamed to give someone not even a whole potatoe.
The service is wonderful. Friendly servers who know what they are doing. The food, though. It's hit or miss, and when it misses, it misses hard. I went there in March for breakfast and it was pretty good. I had eggs, bacon, toast, and home fries. No complaints. I went back there today and had the grilled chicken club wrap. Something that was fried (the bacon?) tasted strongly of fish. The French fries also tasted fishy, like they were cooked in fryer oil that hadn't been changed in a while. The chicken was overcooked and flavorless. My friend ordered a gyro platter and mentioned that he was pretty sure the dressing on it was actually mayonnaise. Whether it was or not, we don't know. But that is exactly how it tasted. The reason why I'm bothering to write a bad review is prior to this year, I haven't been to this restaurant in about three years, even though it's in my neighborhood. The reason why is because I always thought the food was terrible. But enough time passed where I thought I'd give it another chance. Two hours later, my stomach is still churning from my unfinished lunch. Anyway, I hope someone at the restaurant reads this and finds a way to do better. Meanwhile I'll be somewhere else.
Worst diner food I've ever had... waitress was nice tho
My daughter and I went to eat and we were very disappointed. I ordered the chicken souvlaki breakfast and I got the chicken souvlaki wrap, which I really didn’t want but I decided to eat it anyways. The waitress was nice, but she seemed very overwhelmed. She said the hostess called in sick today. She took the wrong food off the bill for me. I appreciated that. What made me decide I would never go back was the state of the bathroom. When I took my 8 year old child in there, blood smeared on the walls. My daughter was grossed out and scared. That was a major problem!!! YOU CAN CATCH HEPATITIS. I told two waitresses discretely but they must have been too busy to care. Wow that was disgusting.
It’s was terrible. First I find what looked like white pet hair in my food, which the server told me was from a food baster brush, which is explainable. Then I get another plate and I find black hair in my food which was human hair this time. So I complained and she seemed nice about it. We go to pay for the food and the cashier has a rude attitude and has the audacity to ask “what’s your problem” I just laughed and didn’t leava a tip, which I usually do. I could report you to the health department, you know? Inspect your food before you send it out.
Great service - I want to make that very known first off. The food however, not good. All fries extremely overcooked, and not even slightly salted. Ordered a medium rare burger, came out medium well, if not well. It tasted more like each individual ingredient than all ingredients together forming the burger's flavor. Found a piece of hair in the burger as well. The vegetables (peas, carrots, green beans, lima beans), are very visibly from a grocery store frozen bagged mix. Understanding further, this restaurant is about the size of your standard 7-11 convenience store, most of that being the seating. The other waitress on staff decided to begin cleaning for closing at about 6:50 this particular night - while customers were actively eating dinner 15 feet away. Cook did not have a hair or beard net, in an open kitchen. All in all, our waitress (didn't get her name) was phenomenal, more than happy to make things right, etc., but I sadly have to tell you Google readers to steer clear. May be back, but it'll be quite a long time.
I found a black hair in my food. I informed the staff. All they said was "oh." They didn't get a manager, they didn't offer a discount, they didn't even say, "we apologize for that." Just "oh" and the full bill.
