Lively dinner spot. MNF was on or maybe it's just popular but the place was packed and I got lucky with the last seat at the bar. I ordered the pretzel (the curry mustard was interesting, the beer cheese just so-so) and the smash burger. Enjoyable meal.

We live just a stone’s throw from this fantastic spot. We had been here when it first opened and came back again today—compliments to the team, they just keep getting better. The food is excellent, beautifully presented, and delicious. Great drinks too, with an impressive selection of wines and draft beers (including some excellent Italian wines). We ordered several beers and Old Fashioneds—everything was fantastic and well-executed. The food came out quickly with no long waits. The smash burger was delicious, and the skirt steak could rival any steakhouse. Even the vegetarian Smau burger was tasty. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Monday karaoke night adds a super fun vibe. Highly recommended!

Excellent pub with an elevated menu but very reasonable prices. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner, super friendly and the food was superb. Try the Bahn Mi and the smash burger for sure. I can already tell this spot is going to be in our regular rotation.

Great atmosphere! Nice staff, very attentive! Menu had so much did hard to choose, beef tallow fries was so yummy, drinks were delicious! And it was trivia night! Fun times!

My parents talk about this restaurant frequently. They live close by and like to go pretty often. This was my first time going, but I had a really great time. They are a small, pub-like restaurant, serving burgers and fries. The feel is overall pleasant, the staff is very nice, with the owner there himself, who also checked in on us to make sure everything was well. They have events going on during the week such as trivia and karaoke, but we went on an off night this time. I had their traditional smash burger, and added a little bit of their spice rub to it, to give it a kick. The burger was juicy and not overcooked, with a little bit of pink, which I enjoyed. Overall it was a pleasant experience! I can see it becoming lively on nights when a game or event is going on, but even on off nights there is still a good crowd.

First time here. Didn't know what to expect. Walking in, you enter a modern, comfortable restaurant and bar. Once seated you are greeted and given menus. You order at the bar. We started with a couple of beers and then got a Brussels Sprouts Salad and a double smash burger. The salad was excellent and the burger was "oh my gawd" delicious! Probably the best burger I've had in years! The staff was really cool, accommodating and helpful. This is definitely a great spot for drinks, food and hanging out!

Fun new place Burger is awesome, and the drinks have a $2 discount during happy hours. Usually, it starts to get busy around 6:30 - 7 pm. Stop by on Friday night and the atmosphere was great. We had a great time.

It's very cozy inside. Tables, booths and bar so a verify if seating. The cocktails were delicious. The food was great. Our group shared several dishes. My favorite were the beef tallow waffle fries, and the Mac and cheese. However I can say that salad, smash burger, salt and vinegar and buffalo rings are all to die for. I will definitely be going back.

What a great place! A group of friends and I had so much fun! Food was delicious. Drinks were fantastic! I had a few Oxford Commas-as a gin drinker Im always looking for something besides a gin and tonic or French 75 to try. So glad I did. This was so good!!

Went with friends for trivia night on Tuesday which made it really fun. The guys running the games kept the competition light and friendly. The women running things in front of and behind the bar were great, very helpful and fair about accommodating customers who wanted a table in order of arrival.

We tried 3 times to find a table at Inkwell and finally on our 3rd visit we were thrilled to find an open booth! Food was great, drinks were amazing (our bartender Erick is a rockstar!), and even LA KINGS game on the screen. We loved every minute of it. The ONLY issue was parking, but there's so much street parking around that it wasn't too bad. Also, just a suggestion: you should definitely have someone come to each table and take orders Vs. the patrons going up to the bar to order food. That was a bit weird. Regardless, we will definitely be back. Cheers!

Hosted a private event at the Inkwell — Aaron, Victoria, and team were fantastic and incredibly helpful leading up to the event. Drinks were delicious, party platters were perfect for our group, and the ambiance was top notch. In fact, I think there is a secondary event space opening in the new year — exciting. Will definitely be back for another event. Thanks Inkwell!

We had a semi-last minute get together to celebrate a friend. We were able to reserve a section of the bar, got some great platters of food, great drinks...and incredible attentive staff. Will be going again and again.

A vintage tavern with modern updates. The food is very tasty and the decor and finishes transport you to another place. Moderately priced. Good for a fun night to get away.

The Inkwell Tavern is a medium sized bar with a spacious floor plan. The bar was long and along one side with comfortable booths on the other side. The drinks were high quality and the prices were reasonable. In addition they offer a $2 off for happy hour drinks. The service was quick and the staff was professional. The only drawback is there is no parking.

We ordered the beef tallow fries, which were good, if maybe a tad too saucey on the garlic aioli, and the fries were a tad TOO crispy. We also had the truffle infused burrata salad, which had more greens and cantaloupe than burrata. It was just HALF a burrata and we definitely did NOT taste any essence of truffle in it. Somewhat disappointing for $17 a plate. The winning dish was the baked mac n cheese with garlic shrimp -- the shrimp was perfectly cooked and the mac was cheesy and tasty. Had a Oaxacan Old Fashioned and a couple of drinks from the menu, all of which were solid. Fun place to come hang with friends or on a date.

We stopped in because we heard about Whiskey Wednesday. You get 3 - 1/2 ounce pours of your choice for $20. They had a nice selection to choose from. We tried a charcuterie board and wings to start. Both are very solid. I was very surprised by the salt and vinegar wings. I almost didn't try them, but I'm very glad I did. The Bahn MI sandwich was excellent. Small space with an intimate yet lively vibe. I would highly recommend a reservation if you can make one.

Very impressed. The staff was warm and the cocktails were fantastic. The food we had was top notch and we even got to try some new things. The atmosphere is well matched to the name and very comfortable and clean. All of that and the Dodgers game on TV! We had a great time and will be back. Well done Inkwell Tavern.
