Shawarma King Burbank Reviews
I came here for the first time with my friend and so glad we found this place. The food was amazing, the prices were very reasonable, the restaurant was super clean, and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend! I live in Las Vegas but will be back next month to Burbank, and will for sure come by again for another awesome dinner. Thanks so much!

This restaurant has some of the BEST Philly cheese steak sandwiches I've ever had. The Falafel is delicious and everything is made when ordered. The Owner is super friendly and catered to my wife's dietary needs. It's a MUST if you're in Burbank.
Unassuming strip‑mall joint serving falafel and shawarma. I tried chicken shawarma wrap—wrapped tight with fresh lettuce, pickle, garlic sauce. Just right spice. Humble vibe but quality shines. Excellent hummus and pita served warm
Wow that was delicious and the shawarma wrap is huge! Yum! Open late? All week?! I live in Santa Monica, I’d drive to eat here anytime. 10/10/10
great food, definitely worth it. I tried it the first time a few days ago and came back for more.
I don’t know what these other people are saying, but the owners, and workers here have never been anything but nice & courteous with me. I’ve been coming here for over 2 years and have never had a bad experience. Some of you are just super entitled and forget there’s a language barrier so foreigners have to be more direct. Stop getting all your panties in a bunch! They’ll be speaking a different language and translate what was said so I can laugh too, aside from that the food is ALWAYS GOOD. Beef lule & shawarma are my go to.
This is by far one of my favorite Armenian BBQ restaurants. I tried combo #26 when beef Lule kebob, pork chop and chicken. Everything was very juicy and extremely well seasoned. It also comes with salad, rice and charred tomatoes and Anaheim peppers. I'm so glad to have found this place. I look forward to my next visit.
Love this place. Food are really delicious, they give you a big portion and priced right. Tried the chicken and beef lule, really tasty and their lahmajun is so good, too. I highly recommend this place to Mediterranean food lovers, like me. And they're open until 3am...perfect for late night cravings.

Came in late night craving a chicken shawarma but ended up getting the beef shawarma and it was delicious definitely a thumbs up a Little kick of flavor in each bite will be back again..... For the price and taste and quality of food and able to get in and out this place is what's up and it's exactly what I was looking for.
Not sure really what to say or exactly how to start this but all I can say, you won't be mad if you end up here, whether it be on purpose or by accident much like I did. Much like the semi-sad and drab interior of the restaurant, my interaction with the staff matched the same description but direct and to the point is fine by me. Got the chicken shawarma wrap and man it was good especially the Dijon sauce thing it had. Decently priced and filling. Pin the tail on the donkey and wander in for a try.
TLDR: Came for a good gyro. Left heartbroken. They tack on an extra 5-8% for using “debit or credit cards due to “taxes at the end of the year.” Also, good luck on receiving an itemized list of whatever you purchase here. Just gotta “take his word for it.” I really tried to like this place. However, I just couldn’t shake the lack of transparency with pricing. Nor did I appreciate the runaround when I brought up his prices and how they were so high AND they didn’t even match up. Ok, I get it. It’s expensive to run a business. But dude, $6 for bachlava? $2.50 for a canned Diet Coke? Mind you, he’s adding this as I go grab the drink myself, I seen this and thought: “holy shit. He really just puts any number he wants in the register!” The plate itself was about $17.xx. (I put “XX” since I received no itemized receipt!) After taxes, I ended up paying $29.xx. As I was paying, I couldn’t help but notice there was a second payment processing system down below(his side can view only) and from upside down, I read $31.XX. If I’m not mistaken, that’s an increase of 5-8% just for using a card?? How do you justify that? Not only that, but it’s designed for you not to see. And when I mentioned that, he went on a wild tangent about how “he has to pay a lot of taxes at the end of the year.” And how this and that, blah blah blah. I think once I mentioned I traveled a lot and prefer New York style lamb gyro, he must have assumed I was made of money. He acted thrilled that I knew about bachlava. Again, a pivot away from his strange pricing system. Just a flat out conman vibe I got from this guy. In the end, the lamb was exquisitely delicious, there’s no need to lie there. Just a shame they take advantage of their customers, with markups like they do. In the end, I won’t be going back to this place. But see for yourself. And if they read this, please, do better! None of that “price as high as I feel I can get away with” nonsense. People like Itemized receipts! Thank you.

It is our first time to come here and their foods are good. We try the piroshki,it is a bread with meat inside or potato. So far we like piroshki with meat but if they combined meat and potato inside it is better for our taste.
Eating here was cool. I haven't had Mediterranean food in a while and they were not busy which means, they got my order right, plus the bathroom was super clean and the food was tasty

First time trying this place. The food was a mix of good and okay. Item 1: #1. Shawarma Wrap (Beef) This item was drenched in their King Sauce. Every bite tasted like sauce and I couldn't even really taste the beef. This was the worst item, and I'm sure if they went light on the sauce it would have been much better. Item 2: Buffalo Style Hot Wings (Hot Sauce) Believe it or not, this was the actual winner for this order. The chicken wings were large, comes in 12 pieces, and the sauce was on point. The wings were cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly and the sauce was just perfect with a good amount of heat. I would come back here for the chicken wings alone if they always taste like they did. Overall, this place was okay for a first experience.

Fried chicken burger was slightly burnt (bitter), not much meat, covered with lots of batter to make it look big. Fries were pretty good tho

I was there with a friend, we thought it was a great place... It's just rock bottom. Everything is tasteless, the portions are small and cold... I had a stomach ache and diarrhea that night.
The food is tasteless, cold, the portions are small... I'm shocked. The workers prepared the food without gloves. We ordered shawarma, but it wasn't shawarma, just pieces of cold, cut meat. I don't recommend it to anyone.
The chicken shawarma is really bad has nothing to do with real shawarma. They keep the machine off and they fry the cold chicken on the grill with butter making it gross and the sauce has too much lemon on it. If you’re looking for a place to eat shawarma look elsewhere.
Disgusting place, I don't recommend it to anyone.
By far the worst shawarma I have ever eaten! The bread was burned, the chicken was dry burned and had it’s cartilage in it, and just felt like the inside of a lawnmower in my mouth. And they charge $10 for this WOW I wouldn’t ever pay $3 for it. Never buy shawarma from here! I should’ve listened to the reviews before going. Don’t make the same mistake I did!! Save your money people it’s not worth it at all.
Stopped by yesterday evening and got my cousin a chicken shawarma. He said it was great so we planned on heading back after watching a comedy show. The shawarmas we ordered the second time around weren't that great. We both noticed that with every bite the chicken was overcooked and very very hard to chew through. I decided to order another one to eat later and when the proprietors asked me how our meal was, I mentioned that it was okay, just that the chicken was too tough, and asked that the one they were making to go to not be overcooked. When I got home that night and eventually but in to the final chicken shawarma they had prepared, it wasn't any better. They must have not liked the feedback I had given them or just didn't care to do a better job. Hope they do a better job in the future, but I'll be sure to dine somewhere else when in need of some shawarma. Why make something if you're not going to do a good job?

I called in to ask some questions due to dietary restrictions… and the man who answered talked in a very dismissive way, and gave attitude when I asked if different knives are used for the non pork meats.
