Fuumi Japanese Cusine Burlingame Reviews
My husband and I went to Fuumi last night and it was delightful. We had sushi so I cannot comment on their other dishes. This restaurant was able to accommodate my gluten free allergy (which is hard for me to find). I appreciate their efforts and the food was awesome. We had the Omakase and they do not skim you on fish, big pieces and very fresh. We also had some rolls and the standout one was the cherry blossom roll! If you are looking for great sushi in Burlingame, stop looking and go to Fuumi.
I’ve been to many sushi restaurants around Burlingame and I’ve found my favorite. I love the California deluxe sushi roll, really tasty and always fresh. My favorite part is that it’s a good sushi size, the roll is not too big, just the perfect bite. The staff is also great and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Had a great quick lunch here! Everything was so good and the fish tasted super fresh. Would definitely come back.
This place is my favorite! The selection is amazing and the food is so good. My personal favorite roll is the Cherry Blossom. I tried the duck breast today and it was phenomenal!
We come in as a group of 4 for lunch. And we are early or the first customer of the day. You scan the QR Code in the table for Menu. We ordered California Roll, Fried Oyster, Seafood Ramen, Takoyaki, Tempura, Salmon Salad, Shitake Mushrooms, Lamp Rack I am happy to say the food are all very good. Definitely coming back again for dining
I’ve been to this restaurant many times and tried a variety of their offerings. All were well-composed, well-plated, and very delicious. My faves are the Fuumi Combo, Kimchi Ramen, Chirashi Don, Salmon Teriyaki Bento, and the Agedashi Tofu. The sashimi quality is great. And the menu is extensive, with something for everyone.
I got a Chirashi bowl here and it was one of the best ones I've had in terms of content. I did not expect fancy stuff like ikura and scallop in there, which was a pleasant surprise. The seaweed salad was also nice addition.
Love this place they have outside seating and can bring our dog with us. She loves their tempura shrimp. 🍤 my wife love the gonzilla roll.
One of the best japanese curries in the US. So much flavor!! Udon is great as well. Good-sized portions and a well rounded menu make this a standout in the crowded local Japanese scene.
Great local sushi and ramen spot with friendly staff. They recently reopened the restaurant under new name, management, and team. The food was great and we will return to try more stuff soon. Broadway needs more variety of restaurants and I'm always glad to see new ones.
The most wonderful and friendliest restaurants in all the San Francisco area. The staff was excellent and so welcoming. The vegetable ramen was absolutely the best. I wish I could have eaten more. Looking forward to visiting again next month!!
This exceeded my expectations! I have visited this small town for several days, and what a hidden gem! The food was fresh, delicious, and I loved the presentation. I had the Dragon roll, normally I do not like eel, but this was so fresh it tasted amazing! I highly recommend this place. Great staff, great service, I hope to visit again soon.

Food and service was incredible. The sushi and ramen was delicious. We went for a birthday party and brought a cake. Without us asking, the waitress offered to store the cake in their own fridge and even gave us new clean plates to eat the cake with after we ate our food. Now I have 2 reasons to go back. The food and the service.

Our fish liver appetizer was surprisingly fresh and tasty. The Ikura and Maguro Nigiri were very good and generous size too. The chicken teriyaki had good grilled smoked flavor but wish the sauce was a little more flavorful. Overall our meals was very good.
Nice Japanese restaurant in Burlingame. I came here for late lunch on a weekday. Still quite busy for the time of the day. The shush looked really good but I only came here for some chicken Karaage and Ceshu ramen. Both portions were very generous. The batter of the chicken was crispy but not too thick, only the dip could be improved. Maybe a nice wasabi mayo? The ramen came with plenty of noodles and lots of garnish but the broth could have been a little bit stronger. Still a very nice and most important in house made meal.
Calamari was too oily but the taste was good. Seafood ramen was not that great. Waiter was pleasant and nice. The place gets a good crowd and they have a free parking area.

Decided to try out this place because of the high reviews, but it turned out average. The sashimi was fresh and decent, hence the 3 stars for food. Their udon soup had a weird taste which shouldn’t be udon at all. The takoyaki was only average. The service was okay. Food was served quick. The restaurant was quite spacious inside in contrast to their outer look.
We walked around Broadway and decided to give this a try. It is a japanese restaurant and serves various japanese dishes. It is a nice interior. The restaurant has table service and sushi bar. The menu is via QR code. They have a bento box but not on the weekend. There are many items on the menu. We decided to try fuumi roll and charsiu ramen. It took a while for our order to arrive, especially the ramen. The fummi roll includes tuna and salmon, and also fried baby octopus with souce on top of it. It is unique and yummy. The baby octopus is crunchy. The charsiu ramen is so so. It is interesting ramen serve with deep fry brussell sprouts and ear mushroom. For me, the soup is not hot enough. It is tasty but not as good as ramen shop. Overall, they are ok.
Not bad, not bad. The sushi didn't blow my mind, but it was good. The wife enjoyed the curry don. They serve water room temperature, which... is a choice. Service was very good, restaurant was very clean, including restroom. I really liked their decor, particularly the display at the entrance with bamboo "growing" in front of brickwork and their neon signage outside.

Dropped in for lunch after flying into SFO. Quick service; ordering via a QR code for the menu. Very disappointed in the karaage and futomaki; tastes were not traditional. Chicken and shishito yakitori were good.
