Philz Coffee Burlingame Reviews
I was in from out of town and always search for a local coffee spot. Philz was amazing! Being my first time and not know what to order, the cashier was patient and took the time to explain the options and to let me in on her favorites. I settled on the tiramisu iced latte. It is close to the top of one of the best coffees that I've ever had. ❤️
Great coffee as always. A bit of a wait but I have to. Say it is 💯 better tasting than other coffee shops. Good place to sit and chill as well. Service is great.
Whenever we’re in town we ALWAYS find the nearest Philz. We can count on the coffee to be delicious, the staff to be friendly and efficient, and the almond croissants never disappoint!
Great service, nice mint mojito, plenty of seats
Look at how beautiful this cup of coffee is! I’ve been coming to Philz coffee since I was a kid back in the original location in the mission district! Now living in the peninsula I can’t help but grab a coffee from the Burlingame location almost 7 days a week yes 7 days 🫣 no regrets!! The staff in Burlingame is always so friendly and I look forward to saying hi to them all to start my morning! Medium iced oatmeal cookie light almond milk light honey! Order a Julie’s Ultimate and in the notes ask for oatmeal cookie! Thank me later!! Thanks Philz Burlingame for making my mornings great!
Loved iced mojito coffee. Not too sweet with hind of mint flavor. Loved with central coffee cake (tart)! Would love to go back soon!
Tea named Mint Mojito is the most popular! I came for coffee and it was fresh and perfect flavor! Fresh, high Quality breakfast bakery items - waaay better than other coffee shops! Friendly vibe, locals know locals… a place you can hang in or dash!
A place for some nice pour over coffee when I feel like treating myself. It's a bit pricey (at least pricier than coffee at home), and it takes a bit of time to have it prepared, but it's quite good. I prefer having the iced Mint Mijito, as i would not be able (or at least, would be less likely) make that drink at home.
The line was long..but I can see why because they make one cup at a time and many different varieties of coffee.. the drip takes a while to make but it is totally worth the wait.. and I had Tesora drip as recommended by the Batista.. it is so smooth..the aroma was unbelievable.. although there is a hint of sourness...bUt very little. Wish they have it in Canada
Like other Philz. Very consistent cupnof Tesora. Staffs always friendly.

Very good coffee. Probably some of the best I've ever had. And the wifi is available and fast! Kind of a busy place, so it might be challenging to get a lot of work done, but definitely worth the visit.

Greeted by a warm host with a friendly smile is always a good start to your Sunday. Place is tight but staff is awesome!

Not too bad to start a day with coffee from this place. The tiramisu tastes good. But the only downside is the registrar lady who took out order, i don’t know if she is having a bad day or it just her personality not to smile and her tone seems too strong and annoyed. We had to asked some questions regarding their new item but she sounds not open to explain stuff and end up with an annoyed tone. But our coffee and croissant taste just perfectly fine.
Consistently good mochas! Staff is always friendly and gives good recommendations when asked. Cute Christmas decorations in store right now! Only thing lacking is seating, there’s always a ton of people (prob cause it’s good!)
First time here. I love these local coffee shops and try to explore and try there best seller. According to the barista, they have a couple so I would just have to come back and try more.
Great coffee shop service Phil's pioneering pour over cups of very, very strong coffee. Don't order too large of a serving, or you'll be buzzing for hours!
Very comfy trendy little coffee joint. There’s a wide selection of drinks and select cafe food. I had the Iced Coffee Rosé which was absolutely wonderful on such a hot afternoon. It’s a busy place so you know it’s a local favourite.

I love all Philz locations. This one is great but you have to bring your own napkins from home. As opposed to other locations, here they have you ask for napkins every time you need one. That can be annoying, especially if you go there with kids. There's always a line so it's not like it's easy to ask for one. I still enjoy my bring-your-own-napkins Philz.
Highly recommend you order online or through their mobile app. Signs were very confusing to say the least. 'Pick Up' to the left and 'Place Order' to the right but the ordering queue is actually to the left and picking up is in the back in front of the baristas. Unlike other Philz locations, you place your order with the cashier and not directly with the baristas. Coffee itself didn't taste as expected almost burnt although it was hot. On a busy Sunday afternoon, it took 15 min which is respectable but I highly recommend placing in advance. Restroom in the rear and no code needed. Some seating inside and more outside but no space heaters. Gets very crowded though.
First time here at the recommendation of a friend. We tried Peet’scoffee yesterday and was told to also try Philz. The warmed pumpkin bread was good. I had the medium Philtered Soul. Was okay.

Baristas were unpleasant only paid attention to each other and not greeting customers. Never been to this location, but def not a fan. Coffee was good though.
