Simplemente brutal. Ojalá no cambien nunca. Fuimos tres personas con reserva y no pudimos tener mejor experiencia. Nos dejamos aconsejar por la persona que nos atendió en todo momento y no pudo ser más acertado. Desde el aperitivo hasta el postre. La calidad de la comida excelente y el servicio inmejorable. De aperitivo, pollo en salsa. Pulpo a la brasa de entrante y de principales, merluza en salsa verde y secreto ibérico para compartir. Acompañado de una hogaza de candeal recién horneada. De postre, cremoso de queso buenísimo. El tamaño de los platos y raciones, descomunales y nosotros que somos de comer mucho lo agradecimos sobremanera. Sitio al que volver y recomendar a todo nuestro círculo.

Un rinconcito en mitad de un calle que en principio no llama la atención pero como los buenos restaurantes, la clientela le viene por la calidad de su producto. De primeras destacar la amabilidad de las dos personas que nos atendieron. Ambas fueron muy simpáticas y atentos. La mujer nos ayudo e indicó una vez preparada la mesa y durante el servicio. El hombre con sus recomendaciones nos ayudo a elegir. Es cierto que el sitio no es más pintoresco o mejor decorado de la sierra norte, no es un pajar, pero no lo necesita porque ofrece una serie de productos de primera calidad que hace las delicias de todos lo que van a comer allí. Estaba a tope pese al día feo de agua. Se nota que la clientela es la habitual, igual local, y la de gente como nosotros que nos han hablado del lugar. Pedimos un pan de esos ricos- de hecho, una de las características del local, luego veréis la fotos, es el tamaño de las raciones así que ojo con comer con los ojos 😊 Pedimos dos raciones de pulpo, sí, exagerados, pero vamos, tierno no, lo siguiente y bien presentado, además de un alioli buenísimo. Las alcachofas deliciosas, una especialidad para mi y un gusto comerlas. Tenían una salsa de tomate natural espectacular. Ojo con las zamburiñas que no vienen presentadas como siempre, una gran fuente. Muy carnosas y sabrosas. De segundo carne para todos. Recomiendo cualquier tipo de carne, todas buenas pero pide la raclette de carne, impresionante! Luego típico postre de Milhoja que era enorme y un cremoso de queso muy delicioso. Un sitio al que hay que ir por la calidad del producto, por lo hermoso de la cantidad y la amabilidad del servicio. Si tengo que poner un “pero” sería el ruido del local, que al ser pequeño se concentra mucho las voces y molestan un poco si quieres tener una conversación tranquila. Muy recomendable. Lo único que tiene de lechuga es la calle 😇 . Desde luego que es un sitio con una buena oferta y con muchos detalles como el aperitivo. Barato no es, pero comes bien y no te arrepientes de pagar . No es un sitio de mantel de hilo pero sí uno de mojar pan. Este sitio nunca dejará de asombrarme, sus enormes raciones en cantidad peor también en calidad. Enhorabuena !

Completamente recomendable. Recomiendo ir con mucha gente porque las raciones son muy grandes y asi se pueden probar más cosas. Pedimos el pulpo, los mejillones a la marinera, los chipirones y los huevos rotos. De postre el arroz con leche que estaba espectacular.

A day to enjoy the snow and refuel with a truly amazing meal—the portions were so large they were hard to finish, but delicious and perfectly cooked. Thanks to the team at La Casona for taking such good care of us today. We'll be back for that rice and dessert we couldn't get to this time ;)

It was a truly spiritual experience. Everything was spectacular. I can't single anything out because everything was a 10 out of 10. Or perhaps I could highlight the impeccable service and the sublime quality of the meat. We will return whenever we can. I thank La Casona for helping to preserve traditional Spanish cuisine without artifice or frills, while still offering excellence.

Excellent restaurant in a beautiful village. The owner and waiters were incredibly attentive. The food was varied and exquisite; the dishes and desserts were top-notch. I recommend booking as it gets busy. I especially recommend the pig's ears (or "orejas") – they're divine! – as well as the lobster rice and the ribeye steak. Everything was delicious! 😋

Lovely staff; both the manager and the waitress gave us excellent advice on portion sizes. Very generous portions, perfect for sharing. The food was top-notch. They served us gazpacho as an appetizer and a shot after our coffees. A great experience. Can't wait to go back!

Great selection. Homemade and creative food, you can't go wrong. A surprise from the appetizer onwards. They don't have a bar and they seat you right away, but that really can't be considered a negative. 10/10

We went today for the first time and we'll definitely be back. The food was excellent, the place is cozy, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Just be sure to come hungry because the portions are substantial. Our daughter enjoyed some fresh and delicious cockles and a spectacular sea bass, and the dessert... you just have to see it to believe it!

A small but cozy place with very good service, with dishes for one or three, even... Excellent value for money. We had the artichokes and mussels and were eager to try everything else that was being served to other tables... like the steak, clams, hake, and octopus. The manager gave us excellent advice, and we'll definitely be back.

Pleasantly surprised, a lovely place that's both friendly and welcoming. To start, they bring you an appetizer with a loaf of rustic bread that's incredibly soft and delicious. We ordered the carabineros rice, and... I have to say it was one of the best rice dishes I've ever had—spectacular, very concentrated flavor. Finally, we finished with the tiramisu... more of the same, incredible flavor and creaminess, a truly spectacular dessert. In short, a place I'll definitely return to every time I'm in the Sierra de Madrid. 100% recommended. Special thanks to Jose for both his recommendations and his wonderful service!

Dinner was spectacular, both in terms of quality and quantity. The portions are literally double what you'd expect… and on top of that, it's delicious. The fish (sea bass) was a delight, very large and cooked to perfection. And the bread was simply amazing! Incredible! The meat was incredible. It's truly a place you should make a point of going there. I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday in a few weeks… and this is it.

What a find! The food was delicious and portions are huge! We shared everything between 5 people and only ordered three dishes. The waiter staff is wonderful. The only thing would be that all the tables are right by the door, since it is a small establishment, and we had a stroller with a baby right in front of the door. However, that will not deter us from going back. We would make the trip just to eat here! Make sure you have a reservation!

Raciones muy generosas y de calidad en un entorno medioambiental de primera. A destacar los mejillones y el pulpo como entrantes. De segundo, el pescado no defrauda, y si eres de buen comer te recomiendo el chuletón que suele ser de 1,5 kg, aunque si no te comes la grasa está bien para una persona. Por poner un pero quizás le sobra sal tanto al pescado como a la carne. Pero es recomendable.

Lively and vibrant! You're offered a choice of sitting - first one at 13:30 second at 15:30. I can understand this as, I believe, the place only opens weekends - perhaps during the winter months. We chose the first and maybe owing to this fact, we found the dining room temperature rather low for the duration of our meal. The food was abundant, products very good, preparation acceptable but it was in the presentation where things feel short. A little more thought, particularly when arranging the "merluza en salsa" on the serving plate would have made a measurable difference. The trimmings seemed to have been thrown in willy nilly, in haste which was a shame because the dish was really good. We will go again when the weather warms up because they deserve another chance.
