The waiter would disappear for long periods of time, milkshakes and some food took so long to get to us. I asked for 3 boxes at the end waited 15 minutes, I finally had to get up and ask another waitress if we could get boxes. They were not busy at all and there were several waiters attending other tables.

Apparently at night, 750 pm to 800 pm they are on break and cannot find time to serve someone who arrives at this hour. Very disappointed.

The food was cold and the utensils were not clean. The service wasn’t the best and they made us wait for 30 mins for the food and then told us our waitress had to leave and some one else was going to be our waitress. When the food came it looked like it had been sitting out for some time. One of the employees was by the door when we were leaving and couldn’t even say thank you! I never give reviews because I’m very understandable of the people that work at restaurants, but this time I really had to.

Food was adequate, but after sitting for twenty five minutes after ordering, I had to ask my server to bring my soup I had ordered as an appetizer, she brought it out on my request, but why did I have to ask? Then of course my meal was brought out as I started into my soup. Frustrating to let that sit and chill while I had the soup that was supposed to be brought out initially. I don't know if my server realized soup or salad should be brought out first. She asked me how I was doing a couple of times running by but she was already past me when I wanted to ask her something. The last time she slowed down and I told her that I was finished, which was very obvious, but she then ran off so I had no idea that I needed to wait twenty minutes to eventually ask someone else to find my server to bring my check. She appeared about five minutes later and said, I thought you didn't need anything. Wow. I asked for my check. She said okay but then went through the bar and stopped to visit with a man who put his arm around her waist and she hugged on him and kept touching him and began a new five minute love affair as I sat and watched and waited for her to eventually get my check. I gave her my credit card and she came back fairly quickly that time and dropped off the bill for me to sign while not even really stopping. She did thank me in running off. It wasn't that she was that busy. And it wasn't that she was rude, but she was oblivious to customer service and dense as a box of rocks on how to do her job properly.

Don't eat here I have bad stomach pain just because I ate some steak and chicken Alfredo it was not the best and my other family bought some ribs and they were under cooked, they never asked to refill our drinks. They were friendly and all, but the food and everything else was horrible. I would better eat dirt if I wanted a stomach pain. I loved this restaurant as a kid but now not so much they forgot my salad I asked for it and they never brought it and we had to pay for the salad and the uncooked ribs. The to go boxes are small and do not fit much. But you won't be needing boxes because you don't want to go there ever now I have to go to the hospital to get a ultrasound because I have food poisoning. And it hurts really bad. They did take off the ribs and they salad they never brought so we ended up paying like 60 plus 5 dollar tip we added for the service and the waitress I tip more than that. I think i know why they charge cheaper than others. Never come here.

so this is how my medium rare steak came out, compared to the image I ordered from. tough, dry, gray, it even smelled bad. note the wilted green beans as well. and the "garlicky" green beans and mashed potatoes had almost no garlic flavor. horrible meal 😠

Wifey and I went to lunch at this Applebee’s today, we learned the restaurant is understaffed and service was slow. We ordered the two for 25$ An appetizer and a bowl of soup. We waited about a half an hour only to receive our entree’s. The waitress however brought them out moments later, but my ribs where cold and tough to eat. ( steak dinner was delicious,though) the bowl of soup was half full & we decided to leave. The manager expressed her apologies & we do appreciate her professionalism. However, we couldn’t justify paying for lackluster service.

Hands down worst service I've ever received. Especially sitting at the bar with not one other person at the bar. Drinks were incorrect. When my app was dropped off by the bartender there was no eye contact just a drop and run. No napkins, no asking if I wanted a refill on the empty drink sitting at the edge of the bar. Manager finally came and made me a new drink, of course it was completely wrong. Just a horrible experience all around.

We had a really hard time waiting for our food. We were a big group but another even bigger group came after us and they got their food first. One hour without drinks refills and a waitress yelling at us that it wasn't her problem when we asked why other costumers got their food first made our experience even worse. Overpriced, what you order online is not the same price as what you are billed at the pickup desk. While the staff sits air conditioned, inside and customers are baking outdoors it's really not worth the wait or the cost to purchase product from these people who barely operate this chain in a manner that I'm sure they're corporate board members would be proud of. Well worth passing by and going on to the next venue.

I don't blame the server, the kitchen was backed up. That's the fault of the manager, they should be better prepared. Considering the restaurant wasn't that full, there should have no issues. My food sucked, at least mine. My ribs, it felt like it was ripping apart plywood. I got my meal for free, later talking to the manager. I couldn't finish my meal, I was looking forward to ribs all day all. This was a disappointment

The food took forever. Even the soda was without gas. I used to love going there. Very different. Cool if you want to have a beer and chill, but not for dinner. Managers used to make their rounds to ask how was everything. Not anymore. Too bad.

Bad and no stars for this location. I'll not go to this restaurant again. Dirty bathrooms, dirty chairs and benches, small food portions, and high prices. I took my food to go and found out that at home, my chicken was burned and dry.

I understand its valentines day but should have more employees working .was advised by host. 30 minute wait. Was finally seated after 1 hour and 10 minutes. After the 50th minute waiting for our food still haven't arrived. And couldn't wait any longer. We were charged for our drinks and the appetizers that were supposed to be included in the 2 for 20 or 2 for 25. Just a bad experience today. Hopefullly next guests wont have to wait 2 hours before deciding to leave. And there were bn updates or status on the food for reassurance that our food was on the way.

It was faster crossing the border back from Mexico than having our dinner...we should have known when our salads took 1/2 hr to get to our table. When we asked what was going on they said they had to re-start cooking one of the entrees because the steak was done wrong. It had been 1 hr and 15 minutes and it was going to be at least another 15-20 minutes. So the one entree that was ready was just going to sit there and get dry. The manager was apologetic but it was just too late. Left the restaurant without eating dinner.

I been here before and the service was better, today I was disappointed with the food. I order chiChen and shrimp with lemono, the chicken was very dry, the side which were red potatoes were unflavored no condiments at all (not even a little bit of salt) I had to put salt and pepper to make it little better. I think the appetizers were better than the main dish. I won't came back ever again to this place.

Was visiting from san Diego and it is way different here. It's more of a hang out spot for locals. The food was okay small portions for what you pay. The barbecue ribs were over cooked and no meat on the bones. Your better off just coming here for happy hour and socializing

Have to rate with 1 star since no way to under rate! Had to wait almost an hour for a portion of an appetizer and the restaurant was not full,had to get up and get 2 straws that never got in almost one hour!Seems to be a staffing issue. This place is nest of nasty people from the staff to the frequent customers who become their clicks. If you do not join or become part of clan you become a target. They tolerate anything from suoer intoxicated customers who are friends with staff to even sexual harrasement/assault on patrons. Mark the district manager is well aware of the incidents and prefers to turn the blind eye, instead of taking action, clesrly intimidated by his staff who control the restaurant. If you want to have a drink with your partner watch out with the drunk loud frequent customers.

Dude, I just went tonight with a couple of my friends and ordered the Complete Combo, pretzel bread, and some of the wonton tacos. Brother, I got food poisoning alongside my friends. I’m definitely not coming back here ever again. Worst 100-something dollars I’ve ever spent in my life. The food was sub-par, the which is surprising because the Applebee’s in El Centro is a thousand times better. There is simply no reason to dine at this one, just drive the extra 5 miles, dawg, unless you really wanna get sick.

Walked in with my wife an daughter a few ugly looks but so what were hungry waitress comes over takes our order after trying to understand Our English she got our order about 20 minutes later out comes our food or should I say out comes these miniature chicken strips an the shrimp all bottomless with bottomless fries sad thing is our food was barley warm we ate it without a complaint 10 minutes later second round this time everything was hot perfect or maybe not got a watermelon lemonade refill an they ordered 1 more round my daughter was full so she didn't touch her last plate mind u the waitress thought she was doin us a favor I asked for a Togo box for my daughter but our waitress didn't speak enough English to say you can't have Togo boxes from the bottomless items cool I understand I asked for a refill on my drink the lady who had to explain it made my drink 10 minutes after that drink I was running to the toilet I never had to use the restroom like that in my life I almost 💩 my pants I honestly think someone put something in my drink because God as my witness that was all we ate.. I don't recommend this place to anyone not even my enemy.....

I don’t go to Applebee’s expecting a five-star experience, but I do expect the bare minimum: decent service, edible food, and some basic professionalism. This location couldn’t even manage that. Our visit started off okay, but things quickly went downhill. We waited an hour and a half for our food after some of our appetizers were sporadically brought out. We stayed patient, but after that long wait, we asked to speak with the manager. Magically, the food appeared a few minutes later—but it was obvious it had been sitting under a heat lamp the entire time. The steaks were dry and undercooked, the cheese was stiff, the pasta was dried out, and the mashed potatoes were crusty. It was clear the server had forgotten about our food and left it sitting there for far too long. The manager was incredibly rude. She offered a $20 discount on a $250+ bill—which is fine—but when I mentioned we never received three of our appetizers, she said, “Well, I already gave you a discount for the bad service,” and expected us to pay for food we never received. She continuously interrupted me, refused to listen, and eventually just walked away mid-conversation. Our server returned shortly after and literally said, “I don’t care what happened, I’m not getting involved.” Wow. Aside from the host, the entire staff looked like they couldn’t care less and wanted to be anywhere else. It’s no surprise this location already has a bad reputation—I now understand why. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Go anywhere but here.

After waiting for an hour and a half for all our food to come out ( which you could clearly tell was sitting for a very long time ) the manager in charge showed no WANT to address the situation the way a DECENT manager should. Not only did we receive horrible service and cold food but we were missing MULTIPLE PLATES. She insisted there was nothing she could do to void these off our check because she had already given us a $20 discount for the cold food.( keep in mind our check was way over $200). WE DIDN’T RECEIVE these plates which value way more than your $20 and you’re making us pay for them ? Please make this make sense. We tried to explain the situation to the server and she used the wording “I don’t care” “I dont want to get involved”….this is your table. You should always care. This establishment clearly does not care for the customer. WORST Applebee's to ever visit.

Please! Do not waste your time going into this establishment. You will feel totally ignored. Somebody dropped a menu as soon as I walked in which while that is a good start it took about 15 minutes for somebody to walk back up to me just to let me know that for some reason their bar is out of Jack Daniels. Not offering another option, and basically just walking away. Nobody walks into an Applebee’s and expects top-tier service or anything, but basically don’t waste your time if you’re looking for any sort of entertainment for the night. Probably one of the worst Applebee’s in the country.

The food is good but sometimes the service is very bad 02/16/2018 Just to update my review, the new manager the girl with the highlights she is one of the worst managers, she is rude and she always answer with a bad mood and look like she doesn't want to be here, also dishes were dirty and this is not the first time, we have the same issue the last time i came but i let it pass because was a busy day, but today was worst than last time, I'm a regular customer and since this new manager or whatever she is, she is not doing a good job...lot to be desired
