Element Coffee Camarillo Reviews
If you like sweet coffee their blended coffee is the bomb! Most people get their coffee to go. They have in store or online ordering. There is seating but it's much more enjoyable to grab your coffee and walk around the premium outlets outdoor mall. I've never had a line when I arrive.
Coffee: I went for the North Shore hot drink! White Chocolate and Macadamia nut...absolutely amazing flavor! We also had the Pumpkin creme spice latte, and the Caramel Apple Pie hot drinks. All drinks were great! Service: Barista's were super busy and on point with all of the drinks being made. There was a line out the door...and they were able to keep up. Atmosphere: Everything is new...so looks great. We'll have to see if it still looks the same in a year or so. The decorations are lively and fun! Military Friendly: They offer a discount for Military. I'd imagine they offer the same for Police/Fire personnel as well. American with Disbilities Act (ADA): Not the most friendly inside the store tables or outside on the picnic tables. There's nothing labeled or specified for ADA. However, there is handicap parking and easy access to the coffee shop.
Extensive drink menu, we got the Maui latte and The Legend, they were both good but their pricing is on the higher end. What's really good are the pastries especially the coffee cakes! We happened to arrive just in time before the crowd did so we were able to get our drinks and pastries within 10 mins
Omg this place is amazing. HUGE menu, so many delicious options! Friendly staff, and delicious foods. I got The Haylee (white chocolate hazelnut) latte, half-sweet with soy milk and its PERFECTION. Their coffee cakes are also incredible! Highly recommend.
My new favorite coffee spot!! I got the cookie butter latte blended and made dairy free with oat milk. It’s very sweet which is good to keep in mind and on the pricier side but it’s so good I’m not even that mad 🤷♀️
Coffee was BOMB. I ordered "The Ben" and its the best mix of banana and coffee! The girl who attended me was so sweet and helpful! I will be coming back! ❤️
The breakfast bacon sandwich was delicious with a vanilla Oat latte

The best coffee in Camarillo! Their chillers and specialty coffees are creative and always yummy! I have not tried their food but it all looks delicious! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I feel welcomed each and every time I visit! I’m so happy this place opened! I will be there all the time!
Service needs to be quicker. Only one person in front of me. Order placement was quick. Service was slow. Good drink menu with good prices.
If I could give 10 stars I would. Hands down the cleanest coffee shop in Southern California. The team here does a great job with the traditional coffee shop feel. Well done.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sylvia at Makenna Koffee Company This was my very first time visiting Makenna Koffee Company, and Sylvia absolutely made my experience unforgettable. She made me the best peppermint drink I’ve ever had in my life. She was incredibly helpful, super knowledgeable, and genuinely kind from start to finish. Sylvia went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, and her positive energy made my day. Her customer service is truly 5-star and she deserves to be recognized for it. I’ll definitely be coming back because of her. Highly recommend!
Such a great vibe and great coffee!! Friendly staff but a huge shout out to Leah, she was the sweetest. She accommodated to my crazy dietary restrictions and came up with a drink that tasted so good! I appreciated her taking the time to help me out and overall just being a kind person. Definitely will be recommending this spot to my family and friends!!!!

Skip Starbucks and come here. My drink was excellent. Staff was super nice. Absolutely recommend. If I wasn't just passing through, I'd be a regular.

Good place to grab coffee while shopping. I like the ambience. The huge variety of coffee caught me off guard so I asked the cashier to make a recommendation.

Great service! Had the Maui Latte. It too sweet for me.
Drinks and food are always amazing! Definitely an addict and try not to come everyday, but ya know... Service is okay, definitely don't come and stand in line if you need a quick to go, employees all seem young and aren't very quick with making drinks like Starbucks or coffee bean would be, but don't take that as the service is bad. Everyone is always accommodating and super smiley nice, but I guess they give that "live in the moment" feel. DEFINITELY TIP GENEROUSLY. The music is always too loud and I don't think you should expect anything more out of a coffee shoppe in the outlet mall. Love this place but definitely has some quirks you can look over if you're shopping just for no-rush vibe and the coffee is exquisite so they're definitely not cutting corners in that aspect, which any coffee snob should appreciate. Love this place and will be a loyal customer. As a former barista, as long as you're nice, and you don't burn the espresso, youre doing great.

Crazy busy. Line out the door; and we asked, yes it is always like this. Trendy, faddy and confusing menu. They played retro 80’s music which was cool. The coffee was not bold, no matter how many shots you add. I had a pistachio americano, that lacked any coherent pistachio flavor. Ok for the coffee buzz if you can navigate a very large and confusing menu. CritDicks

I really wanted to like Makenna’s, but after multiple visits, the experience has been consistently disappointing—especially given the pricing. For a coffee shop that charges more than Starbucks, I expect better drink consistency and customer service. Even when I order the same drink regularly, it’s never quite the same. Because of this, I now order it extra sweet with an extra shot when I get a large, since that seems to reduce mistakes. Unfortunately, even then the drink is often either too milky or not sweet enough. When I’ve politely asked for my drink to be adjusted or remade, the response is uncomfortable at best. Instead of a friendly, “no problem, we’ve got you,” the baristas tend to hesitate and insist the drink was made correctly. That defensive attitude makes it awkward to speak up, even when the drink is clearly off. Another issue is staffing. It often feels like there’s little to no experienced supervision on site. The staff frequently appear inexperienced and more focused on chatting than on drink quality or customer service. Having a more experienced lead barista or manager present would likely make a big difference. The space itself is trendy and cute, but good aesthetics can’t make up for inconsistent drinks and poor service—especially at premium prices. I hope the owners take this feedback seriously, because with better training and leadership, this place could be much better.

There were six people behind the counter, yet no one seemed to know what they were doing. We were the only customers, but our coffee still took forever. When it was finally ready, it was just left on the counter with no name called — by the time I found it, my espresso was cold. We even had to remind them that we’d ordered food. The whole thing felt like a bit of a joke. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place.
Longest wait ever, ended up telling us they cldnt make our drink after waiting for almost 30 minutes. The simplest ingredients (dr pepper and creamer)— I’m just starting to have zero patience for this place the more and more I come in.
Super sad to post this. Everyone talked so highly about this place my children and I were so excited to try it. Went in three times and every time the drinks were terrible. Really kind people, just a terrible sense of work ethic and hustle. Sadly, the drinks tasted like sugar water. When I asked a barista how they pull their shots, and she had no idea. The baristas asked another one and they had no idea as well. When I asked to see a single shot, it was about the size of the tip of my finger nail. I asked if that was a mistake and she said no. So I then realized why all my lattes tasted like sugar milk. The next time I went in, I ordered a black cold brew with light kona foam, and it still came out white. I asked for a re make and was told it would take a bit since there was a line out the door (mind you we waited in said line). I went a third time, just for my girls and tried one more time and the coffee and food was still awful. Again, sweet people, terrible sense of work ethic without a clue of coffee culture. My kids loved it since it tasted like just sugar, but again, if you're into coffee tasting like coffee, this may not be the place for you.
Don’t waste your time with an online order at this place. I placed an online order, drove to pick it up, found parking, walked in, and waited. And waited. Four groups of people came in while I waited, those four groups of people ordered coffees, had them made, and left with their coffees. Turns out, the coffee shop was waiting until 1:15 to make my order (19 minutes after it was placed) so that it would be ready at what their computer assigned as a pick-up time. My order wasn’t even in the queue to get made, I just left it there. $13 and 30 minutes wasted.
