Lovely restaurant. Great food, service and atmosphere. A little higher price and well worth it. Two nights in a row and a total pleasure each night.

We had a fantastic meal at Cucù. The tagliatelle with white ragù was nothing short of magnificent—perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, savory sauce that was both delicate and full of depth. The burrata appetizer was also outstanding: creamy, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. This place is a true gem—authentic, flavorful, and memorable. Highly recommended!

Amazing food. One of the best meals we've had throughout Italy. Fish is so fresh, cooked perfectly and served with superb flavour. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent food and service. Fried anchioves for a starter, very good. We ate the Amberjack fish special and the Tagliatelle White Ragu for dinner. Excellent. Would recommend to everyone.

I don't give 5 stars very often, as I believe it is for the best if the best. Had dinner here tonight and it was well deserving of the high rating. A fairly simple restaurant, but the food was outstanding. Service was also great. Thanks for the memorable meal. The house red wine was also very good.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Cucu. We had the Pesto Lasagna, Tagliatelle White Ragu, Mascarpone cream with chocolate, and Tiramisu. The Tagliatelle Ragu was our favorite.

Very good food and friendly service! We can recommend the tiramisu for dessert, it was great. Price was surprisingly low. Definitely worth a visit!

Superb restaurant! Very Italian atmosphere. Gorgeous food. Friendly efficient staff. Wish we found it sooner so we could have gone back. If you're in Camogli, go there. Booking recommended.

Food was amazing and delicious, I love that they have their daily fresh caught seafood. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and cosy, perfect to enjoy the meal with a glass of wine and a book. Staff were friendly and attentive :) price is not expensive with that quality of food.

Cute local spot located 1 block away from the main street. I came here for the pesto lasagna and I'm so glad I did. I could have eaten 3 of those plates. I wiped the plate clean with the foccaccia to the point where the waiter commented "wow maam you did a great job!" I didn’t know whether or not I should be embarrassed or flattered. I also had the bis of tuna and squid- cooked 2 different ways. This was recommended by the waiter but I really was not impressed. The tuna was a bit overcooked and the squid tasted a bit fishy. Regardless, the pesto lasagna was so mindblowingly amazing that I'd still rate this 4.5 stars for the overall experience. Service was fantastic as well and I was often asked if I wanted anything else. There is outside seating as well. I love how the menu is handwritten! Tons of character.

To be honest, the food was OK but absolutely nothing special, especially keeping in mind the high price. We had the fish of the day, vegetable tartare (full of onions) and torta dria (a great pie).

This restaurant was suggested by a local and owner of a nearby B&B. The food is reasonably priced and was wonderful. My favorite dish was the Pesto Lasagna! Would recommend to anyone.

Friendly staff, good suggestions on the local wine, as the one selected was no longer available. Fried mixed fish was special, as there were entire crevettes to peal and large fish. A lot dow around and lack of taste. The cozze with tomato were tender, but also not so much taste as in other restaurants.

Difficult to review this restaurant because the fish dishes they offered are not done in their usual way with fish. Reason was at that day the restaurant didn't get any fish because of bad weather. We ordered for example the fish soup ( la zuppa di pesce) but it came with only mussels, shrimps and little octopuses. To be fair, the waiter pointed this out. So all in all, for the review I give everything ok.

We booked this place for my birthday 11/8/25. Its not easy for me to really give a negative review as I worked in hospitality and I know there are sometimes struggles, sometimes the chef is in a bad mood, sometimes the products are bad quality. BUT WHAT I CANT STAND IN A RESTAURANT - is when something is wrong and you ask the staff/kitchen to correct it- cause it can happen- you get ATTITUDE FROM THEM INSTEAD OF “I am sorry, let me make you another dish or something”. What happened here - I went with family for a nice dinner- ordered some Fried fish and some side vegetables. Prices arent cheap- mind you. I get my order- nothing spectacular - just 5 pieces of small fried fish and some oily tasteless veggies on the side. Fine. Its what it is. But when I bite into the fish - a smell of “off” and “gone bad” from the fried fish. Really bad. I thought i ll let the owner know and maybe he can correct it- you know? It can happen -especially with fish or chicken- these go bad really fast. But to my surprise- instead of “I m sorry sir, let me get you another plate” I got a really bad attitude “you dont know cod, this is how cod is- nothing wrong with it”. Everybody smelt the fish, including the server, the chef and owners wife- they all said -Yes, something is not right with it” but the owner kept on saying the opposite. Probably because he was to embarrassed to admit it in front of all the guests -by now it was a full drama scene- Italian style. We asked for the bill and left immediately. They did take it off the menu so I didnt pay for the fish but thats not the point. And please do not expect any fine cuisine or any nice presentation. Food may not be that terrible but it looks awful on the plates too. And giving the prices, on the higher end- one would expect a better service. No. Never again. Felt sick and had my birthday ruined. Went for a Foccacia restaurant instead and the night was saved. But “CUCU” in Camogli- No. you need to do better. Very disappointed. Not worth the hype or reputation. Avoid to avoid disappointment. Im really sorry that I had to write this. But off fish and or off chicken - improperly cooked or stored can cause serious health issues to someone with a lower immunity or with prior health concerns. Nope!

Taste wise the food was alright, but after we had eaten almost all of us had some stomach pain. Also the portions are tiny for a very expensive price (tourist prices). The service was a slow but all in all friendly. The ambiance was nice.

We had high hopes for this restaurant after getting several local recommendations and seeing reviews. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the expectation. The food was flavorless and the dishes had no presentation to them. My daughter had the pesto lasagna which came out as noodles drowned with green sauce. I had one of the specials- a cuttlefish ink pasta and I was so excited to try it. What I received was a huge pile of spaghetti with no flavor. Maybe the head chef took the night off? In any case, I just can’t recommend this place based on our experience. It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t the best.

Disappointing “Italian” Dinner in Camogli I rarely write negative reviews, but this place deserves a warning. The evening started with a red flag: the couple at the table next to us was already complaining about their first dish. From that moment, I began paying closer attention—and unfortunately, it only went downhill. The restaurant is presented as an Italian establishment, but it is run by people with no apparent connection to authentic Italian cuisine. My lasagna with pesto was a complete letdown: just plain cooked pasta layered with what tasted like supermarket pesto sauce, lacking any of the flavor, texture, or care you would expect in Italy—especially in a town like Camogli, famous for its food. Camogli offers many wonderful, genuine places to eat. Sadly, this is not one of them. I left feeling disappointed and wishing I had gone anywhere else.

Ate here on my last day in Camogli after spending 10 days in the city. Been passing by the restaurant several times and it was always packed, so my expectations were high. Looking at the menu, that was mostly dishes containing seafood, with relatively expensive prices (between 12-30 euros), I also thought that the food experience would match the price and expectations and be something out of the ordinary. To my surprise, and the 4 others eating with me, all dishes was an utter disappointment. We were served unripe tomatoes with buratta and anjovies, with a presentation much more comparable with a low level restaurant. The rest of the dishes were not any better. A pasta that when presented sounded amazing, tasting nothing but fish, in a bad way. I could keep on going but it was all the same. Sorry Cucu, but we did not have a good experience. I would like to add credit to the staff, whom were all really friendly, presenting the food very well and giving the restaurant a real good vibe.
