Tocca e Leva Camogli Reviews
This restaurant is located in San Rocco di Camogli, right at the start of the trail to Punta Chiappa/San Fruttuoso. The restaurant has a veranda with a beautiful view (unfortunately unheated) and an indoor area. But the real highlight is the homemade food, including the pasta and sauces, which are simply excellent! The Pansoti are among the best I've ever eaten. The quality/price ratio is more than fair!
The best restaurant in Camogli/San Rocco – immaculate cuisine, exquisite flavors, and fair prices. Warm, authentic hosts make this a rare find beyond the usual tourist path. And the best Tiramisu in the world! The less favorable reviews seem to overlook what defines truly fine italian cuisine culture.
This is the first place we've eaten really well on the Ligurian Riviera. Homemade, yet authentic and light cuisine. The bread and homemade tortellini are delicious. The tuna steak is special and plentiful, and finally, a great salad. Friendly and fast service. Excellent value. Worth it!
I dined with friends at this restaurant serving traditional Ligurian cuisine, located in San Rocco di Canogli, on the hills above Camogli near the church. From here, you can enjoy hikes of varying difficulty, including to Portofino and Punta Chiappa. We sat at a table on the outdoor terrace with a wonderful view of Camogli, and there are also indoor tables. We ordered focaccia fritra for an appetizer, and for the first course, two ravioli with meat sauce and mandilli with pesto, with a mixed salad. For dessert, two crème caramels and one panna cotta. We were delighted with the quality and abundance of the dishes, and the waiter was welcoming, smiling, competent, and kind. The service was attentive and fast, and the prices were truly reasonable. For those who enjoy hearty cuisine, this is a place worth a visit, preferably at sunset. Located on the promenade to (or back from) San Fruttuoso or Punta Chiappa, it's a restaurant that will truly reward you. The seafood scialatielli taste like they've been cooked on the beach. Pansoti and mandilli are traditional. The basil panna cotta is for connoisseurs. Excellent value for money. The only drawback...don't arrive too hungry because the dishes aren't served quickly, but this confirms the homemade flavor. Definitely worth a try!
Fantastic! With 2 adults and 3 children between 3-8, we were looking for a place that would be good for everyone and we found it. In our 2 weeks in Italy, this was our best eating experience. Great view, quiet, fantastic service, and every bite was perfect. I got a soup and my 8 year old from me because he wasn’t sure about the fish he got. Once he saw how much I was enjoying the fish, we traded back. We each got a different desert and shared. I wish I could tell you which food was the best, but we all ate everything and everything was great!
A very lovely restaurant with food to die for. The pesto lasagna literally melted in my mouth (highly recommended). The Tiramisu was light and delicious. Friendly service with a homely welcome. Thank you
Delicious food, home made bread and good prices.
Awesome food. Best meal yet.

We dined here as a couple in February for the "Lovers in Camogli" 2025 event. It had a fixed menu. For the price and the dishes offered, I expected a slightly higher quality. It's a classic home-style trattoria. True, you're in San Rocco di Camogli, a priceless seaside town, but the price has to justify the menu. Acceptable.
Not polite service
Acceptable wine, but the food was not fresh and gone off. After signaling this to the waitress, she simply took the food away, didn't bring anything else, and demanded full payment.
Really disappointed with the food, octopus is not fresh, tastes old and defrosted, rabbit tastes not great, hardly any meat on the bones, really small portions, my boyfriend still hungry after his starter and main, i have no idea where these positive reviews come from but im not surprised if they are fake, will not come again.
