Del taco is the California treat. Offering fresh fare at fast convenience friendly service and great prices. I personally opted for the 8 layer veggie burrito. They also have the best fries in the industry. There really isn't too much to say if you don't know about Del Taco then get the heck off this site.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I only saw 2 employees one was sweeping outside and the other was Esther working the drive-thru window. Esther showed very good customer service skills. She was courteous and greeted me with a sincere smile. I wish more customer service representatives were like Esther after finish ING a late shift like that.

This Del Taco is open 24 hours which is amazing for getting a burrito or some amazing fries any time you want. There is hardly ever a rush here whether you go in the morning, afternoon, evening, or late night. I have never encountered a staff member who wasn't nice and got my order ready fast. I've come at all times of the day and never experienced stale or cold food.

This is always my go to del taco out here in oceanside now. I have only been living here for a little over a year and was back and forth with my favorite del taco spot but I found it!! They always make everything perfect. Lots of meat in your tacos and chicken in your burritos 🌯 never any problems and so far every single awesome worker there has been fast and gets everything right. Will be back Friday!! Gotta stop by here once a week now

First time ever going to Del Taco and I found it to be very good for value and portion sizes.

1st time visiting this location and loved it. The Cali burrito was huge and very well made. Also had the Queso Loaded Fries and they were fantastic. The service was quick and friendly. Certainly one of the better del tacos from my experience.

Del Taco never seems to disappoint and this location is no different. The food quality here is amazing. Even though they are a fast food restaurant and offer that type of food, the quality exceeds what you would expect. The tacos we had were amazing - just the right amount of cheese and beef. The fries here are also amazing. They are cooked properly and had great flavor. This is a chain and I wouldn't say this location is better than the other ones, but definitely up to par with the others! Either way, food is always yummy! Stop by if you are passing by!

Near the Oceanside harbor so quick bite to eat if you want to just hang out. My son likes their bean and cheese burrito. Del Taco has fries and such too. Affordable and this particular one we go to. Has good service and staff are friendly

Had to eat at DelTaco being a fan of Grace & Frankie. We don't have them in the Midwest, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the good taste. Taco also didn't fall apart while eating. A big plus.

I like this Del Taco! It was clean and vibrant, we did an app order, checked in and waited for our food. The staff was sweet and friendly. The inside was nice and spacious, I could see if you had a lot of people going out for a quick bite, this location could totally take care of your needs! I don't frequent this location very often, so I can't say much about their consistency. The food was as expected. The inside of the restaurant was clean and well maintained. When I was there the drive thru was very busy and kept 90% of the staff's attention, and only about 5 customers (including myself) inside. It was after 6 pm and I would expect as much.

Same quality every time. Some times it's crazy busy but never have they ever got my order wrong or shorted me food. Great place if you done want to pay an arm and a leg.

Right off of a freeways. Restrooms are unisex and only two. Expect a long line if you are getting off of freeways to use it. On your way out, please try their freshly made strawberry lemonade, so fresh and delicious.

My absolute favorite Mexican fast food! Excellent tostadas I like added chicken and guacamole. The Del chicken burrito is also one of my go to favorites😄

It’s ok but tacos were a bit soggy. I did take them home to eat but it was only like 10 minutes away.

I only ate here because I was in the process of moving and this seemed a quick bite to eat. I had the two chicken tacos which were good. Nothing amazing. However, they do have what I found to be some of the best strawberry lemonade around. That drink is worth giving this place a check if for nothing else. The driveway is narrow with a sharp turn - at least sharp for my F150, and my wife has said the same going through in her Jeep Grand Cherokee, so I feel justified. I would go back for the strawberry lemonade, and recommend others check it out, but I did not think the food was anything to write home about.

Food was extremely cheap. with menu items starting at 0.59 cents. Restaurant was very clean, cleaner tan expected. Restaurant was also busier than expected. Landscape was nice to sit and eat out side. Workers were friendly and helpful. Tacos were not as good as taco bell tacos, but burger and fries were way better than expected and are highly recombined.

I loved this place when I was a kid. It was walking distance from home! And then it disappeared. And I never saw one again for years. I've seen two lately, and I've stopped both times. We ordered too much, I got the wrong burrito but I didn't care because it was good. I'll go back.

Eh. Needs a cleaning and a remodel. Outdoor furniture dirty covered with cobwebs. Food nothing special at this location and seems slightly less ingredients vs other locations which I often frequent many.

It's still Taco what can I say about it. The personal turnovers two great the saying about service and the products are all exactly the same. Since I don't monitor hand washing in the bathrooms there's nothing more than I can actually contributor it's my mystery meat preference for fast Mexican food and that's it.

Beware of the Fiesta boxes that have a false bottom. U less you are in a well lighted room you can't even tell its there. They need to put a label on there so people can see it.

Love their menu but the tostadas of my crunchtadas seemed a bit stale. I did appreciate the generous amount of lettuce and cheese on my tostadas.

Always good food, rarely have to correct an order. Old building in an odd location, but open late for those munchies. Only place that still serves green salsa in burritos (Taco Bell quit). Drive through is really tight, but if you’ve got skills, you can fit a lifted, 4 door, long bed truck through with ease.

It’s Del Taco! This one is pretty good. We had some chicken soft tacos, the quesadilla tacos, and a chocolate and strawberry mini shake. The strawberry shakes are amazing because they blend in fresh strawberries!

One of my favorite Taco places for sure, love their Fish Tacos and they recently added some amazing food items to their menu. Nice!! 😋 The only thing they could do better, is change their drive thru a bit. It's way too tight for larger vehicles like trucks or full size sedans. 😐

It's like Taco Bell but so much better. TB is a 1. DT is a 4ish. Their food is fresher and healthier than TB. They do make many of the menu options fresh in store. The interior leaves you wanting, but what do you expect at a fast food joint? The staff is awesome! They do take food allergies seriously.

Sad to see they no longer serve the spicy jack quesadilla! People weren't ordering due to too strong a flavor 😒. Also had the combo burrito!

Who doesn't love a fast food taco. Del Taco is the king of this space. Nothing fancy just quality $2 American tacos. They have good alternative options with a decent burger, arguably the best chili cheese fries and a socal staple in the chicken soft taco. Don't go for a authentic Mexican food experience, but don't miss it either.

Good place for a pit stop. I haven't been to a delivery taco in so long that it reminded me so much of my high school days. Also I didn't know they had a value menu and got a bunch of food for five bucks. So overall value was great. The service was also good as well. However the bathrooms are kind of unkempt, but maybe they just haven't cleaned it when we showed up. Anyways, good place for a break and fill up on food.

Never been before and the food is really good. They need to keep the facility a little bit cleaner and service with a smile, but we definitely will eat at del Taco again

I went into the restaurant as I had been driving for a while and needed to use the facilities. The bathroom was terrible. Wet floor. Toilet paper on the floor. Granted, this could have just happened, but it was still my first impression of the place. I placed my order and paid as the fellow helping me disappeared to help drive thru customers. As I had still not received my receipt, I didn't know what my order number was. Still, they were friendly, so I'll keep it at 4 stars.

I miss the old staff. There is always newer team members working and teams seem to be so disorganized, no team work. $0.79 for the valie taco...not worth it anymore. The 0875 store on East Valley Parkway in Escondido...they know how to take care of their customers!

Nice little taco place similar to a Taco Bell but I would say that it is much better than a Taco Bell. I'm good with getting a few of their value tacos which are simply cheese meat and lettuce on either a crunchy or soft taco shell. I ended up getting three of the crunchy value tacos and an order of the donut balls. It was a great snack / light lunch. I give it a three star because it's a solid choice and I don't give any chain restaurants like this over 3.

Ordered two bean & cheese burritos through the drive thru. Asked for green sauce...didn't get it. Had to park and go inside to get sauce. The girls behind the counter gave me attitude as if I were inconveniencing them.

I went for the new taco 🌮 deals they have, and it turned out to be pretty good! The place itself could use a little TLC( not so fresh), and the staff wasn't really all that welcoming. My 1st experience with Del taco was in Anahiem, and they were on point! I guess I had my expectations too high.

Meh. Not the best location. Extra sloppy and lukewarm. Staff had no other customer about seemed very distracted. Got my very simple order of just tacos wrong.

Del taco has gone downhill lately in general. But this was cold and flavorless blah at this location. I grew up on Del Taco and always looked forward to it when back in town.

The manager is a very nice guy but if you go when he isn't on shift there's a 50/50 chance you'll get your full order. It happens frequently but tonight I ordered 2 items and only left with 1; I'd suggest checking your bag

We have been to many Del Tacos throughout Southern California. This was one of the worst. It gets 2 stars because the food was ok. It wasn't the best or the worst. The staff was decent. The problem was it just seemed dirty. The restrooms were a mess. There was trash on the floor. It just wasn't well cared for. We won't be returning to this location.

This is an insanely grim Del Taco which is also the only Del Taco for Downtown and Golden Hill. I come here about once or twice a year, for the past 20 years or so. It never gets fixed up, never changes. The drive through is the move here. If you go inside you will bear witness to local crackheads panhandling or harassing the staff. Seriously the "atmosphere" is like world class bad at this Del Taco and it's been like that for two decades.

This location is known for its homeless panhandlers on the patio near the drive thru. It is a bit sketchy when you have to go inside as the panhandlers are not shy and will definitely stop you. The lobby was a bit dirty while I was there and the wait was a bit longer but the homeless make it unpleasant to visit this location.

The food at Del Taco is always good especially for the price. The workers are another story. They are always rude and way more involved in conversations amongst themselves than in helping a customer or taking an order.

They REFUSED to GIVE ME extra SAUCE with my burrito! I've been ordering the same bean and rice burrito for several years a multitude of del Taco locations all throughout the United States and I always get a side of red and green sauce added as extra. Of all of the times I've had this meal I've never had an issue with the sauce request at any location until getting to this place. These people simply refused to sell me the sauce! I told them they could charge me whatever they wanted for the sauce but they said that they were "running out." Keep in mind that they had not run out, they were "running out" meaning that they could have still sold me the sauce BUT for whatever reason they would not give it to me. I was told I could get the red sauce packets and that, that, was the same thing. However the red sauce packets and the sauce that comes on the burrito itself is not the same!! Yes they are both red sauces but they are different types of sauces which is why I wanted extra red sauce that already came on the burrito vs. getting the sauce packets. Anyhow this was really odd and unexpected behavior from the restaurant. The whole experience was really bizarre and I'm not sure if I would go back there again as I do not find it appropriate or fair to refuse a customer an item of food when they are willing to pay for it and you have it available.

The male employee working the drive thru window had rotten customer service, he was super rude, and got irritated when I asked him questions about paying with EBT. He acted as if he didn't want us there ordering food, which is not the kind of attitude you want an employee to portray to any customer. Left a very bad taste in my mouth . Will definitely rethink visiting this location in the future..

Usually a great place... But cannot contact the restaurant by phone. 1yr + the phone number listed on the receipts and Google isn't a working number. So when I've recently had missing items from my order or received ½ empty orders of fries and I can't drive back, my only option is to contact customer service. Then they respond 3 days later, saying you have been refunded. How if I've paid in cash ? Previously I was sent gift certificates, but what if I just want my money back? They need to update their customer solutions. Del taco isn't what it use to be!

This menu needs a lot of work. The guacamole does not taste fresh at all. The quesadilla is such a sad excuse for a food item. It was like s***** cheese on a sad excuse of a flaky tortilla. The taco we had was mediocre at best. Not a single flavor jumped out at me. Furthermore the ingredients were clumped together in segregation. The cheese was off by itself. The onions were off themselves. When biting into a well-made taco I expect one ingredient in every bite. Don't drink the cool aid.

Why am I paying more for Del Tacos if they aren't being stuffed with beef & cheese like they are suppose to. The Del Taco on College blvd is alot better with their food. Never coming here again!

I had two separate meals on 2 separate occasions. The first time I didn't know where the food came from as it was brought to me by my friend's daughter. The second time I chose to go there, unknowing that I had previously had their breakfast burrito. I had a del taco. On both occasions the serving size was enormous and there soft tortillas seem like they're homemade and taste wonderful. However that is where my enjoyment of their food ceased to exist. I got profoundly sick to my stomach each time I ate. Never again and wish I had never done so in the first place!

The reason for a 2 is because service was good but I I asked where they go to restroom, they said right there so I ask to use it n they said no even when I ordered food n let them know that I'm 66 yrs old n a senior. I had to relieve my self by the trash dumpsters out back like a homeless person. Really BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE 😞😰😵😎

You know some people don't speak Spanish. I think they should hire somebody who speaks English. Not being racist because I know you insecure people are all going to come out saying blah blah blah blah, it's just a fact go there yourself if you don't believe me but if you want to avoid any headaches and bad service and bad food I suggest you go to another del Taco. I think you'll thank me for this advice one day.

Del Taco will never be considered a delicious fast food choice. It's just cheap, bland and bad. Best thing/only thing you should order is grilled chicken soft taco. Everything else is poop.

Horrible, dont come in with a back pack or anything of the sorts. They will run you off and threaten to call the police as if your one of the misfortunate down on their luck ie homeless. After I bought several items I was asked to leave or they would call the police. I had my receipt and was still eating my food on the patio. I dont recomend this place to ANYONE!

Maria the manager was rude while taking my order in the drive thru. I didn't hear her, I said sorry I didn't hear you.,so she yelled back to me, then she when she couldn't hear me she yelled a what!! Very rudely. I've been going here for years and never had an experience like this. oh then she messed up my order, made my epic torta messy to where the lady that handed it to me said I'm sorry I tried to fix it and Maria told her to leave it upsidedown.

Not much to say other then this place SUCKS!!! There is no consistency at this Del Taco whatsoever. Whenever I've been there to eat the food portion sizes are always different. Which is VERY IMPORTANT when you're diabetic like I am. I mainly just eat there salads because for the most part everything else on there menu will land you into an early grave.

Spent 35 minutes in line.. 15 of which actually sitting at the window. They messed up my order twice, only giving me half my order. My order was very simple too, two boxes, two burritos add sour cream. It took FOREVER trying to explain to them that they gave me the wrong order TWICE. When I finally got my food and got home they had over charged me and still forgot to put the sour cream on my burritos and only filled our sodas a little over half way . I love deltaco. But I'll avoid this one at all costs.

I normally love going to any Del Toco but this location around 8pm was off. The whole order was off. I ordered 5 bean and cheese burritos without sauce and they all came with sauce and I ordered a 7 layer burrito that came with beans, cheese, and rice. I would definitely NOT recommend you go to this location. I also didn’t appreciate seeing trash, lettuce, tortillas on the floor that the workers were on. It seemed so unprofessional and careless. I know this is not a super fancy restaurant but at least maintain cleanliness.

Back in the day I'd go to Del Taco's all the time. They'd have great food and great prices. Now, I go once or twice a year and each time food gets more ridiculously priced and smaller sizes, crappier tasting. The only thing they got going for them is their hot sauces-the mild's always been my favorite. I'm probably done wasting any more money here in the future but I might stop in for some hot sauce.

Giada (I think was her name when I asked) she wasn’t wearing a name tag. Was working the register around 1:15 pm on 07/26/24 and was incredibly rude to my father who is a disabled veteran. He wanted to order a taco and I wanted to order the birria combo that was 11.99. The total came up to $25 and some change which was more than the $14 or so we were expecting when my father just wanted a taco. We nicely told her he just wanted a taco and she seemed irritated to have to change the order due to a misunderstanding and it almost seemed she intended to do it on purpose to sell the large combo or make a taco combo to sell more. She raised her voice at my dad and slammed my cup on the counter. It was quite irritating granted I felt out to California to visit my dad once a year and then to see how someone could be so rude and talk to him in that manner. Very disappointed as I have always enjoyed stopping in a del taco when I come out here, but we will take our business elsewhere.

How are these people still in business? After my last 2 tries, cause I'm trying to save money while on vacation and they are do close, it just isn't worth it. Cheap crap food is still crap. Ugh.

Employee was so rude. Stopped by and planned to buy breakfast for whole family but needed to use the restroom. The lady with headsets was super rude about it. Its early morning, you'd think they would be in a better mood. So now we are driving 20 minutes to another Del Taco. Also not the cleanest Del Taco. BTW their restrooms are not out of order, I guess they just refuse to let people use them, even customers.

I witnessed 2 employees open the door to enter the kitchen area with blue gloves on ... Apparently One was training the other to clean the restrooms.. Then I seen several (total 5) employees touch that same handle to go in the kitchen area.. Including the manager.. I was instantly disgusted.. Note to Del Taco staff: Remove dirty gloves before touching the door handle that leads to the kitchen.... Not sanitary... Everything needs to be wiped down because of this ... They all need training again..

Horrible service. When we pulled up to the speaker to order we were automatically rushed. No cars were behind us. We already knew what we wanted to order with some substitutions, the lady taking the order was not listening to what we wanted. She got the order wrong when we simply asked for one item to be switched out for hard shell taco. I had ordered medium for all three of the Ameri-Mex boxes. We get to the window and are handed small drinks. I had told the nice gentlemen that we had ordered medium and if she wasn’t rushing us at the speaker she would have gotten it right. I told him I’d pay the difference, no problem. The lady who took our order decided to come to window and argue that we didn’t order medium. I told her yes we did. She had such bad attitude, I asked her what her name was 5x and she refused to provide it stating that I didn’t need it. Then said it’s on the receipt, so I said your name is Daniel? Which was the name on the receipt. So, she obviously lied about that. She rolled her eyes and went about her job. Well another employee came up and told me her name was Guadalupe before we drove away. Guadalupe needs a refresher in customer service.
