The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the tonkatsu was juicy and full of flavor. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable. I completely forgot to take photos because the food was so good — we finished everything! Posting a proud “all cleared” photo instead.

Great service. We often order delivery, but every now and then we dine-in. This visit we opted for the Kaizen Choice, which was very good. Super fresh and satisfying.

Kaizen looks like your average shopping plaza Japanese restaurant, but in fact it hides a gem. The staff has extreme attention to detail and the food is cooked to perfection. Kaizen has a wide array of Japanese and Korean dishes, made with sophistication and very generous portions. The staff is very kind, we got a few little side snacks on the house, including tempura green beans which were delicious.

If you are looking for the ultimate value-for-money sushi experience, this place is unbeatable. The portions are incredibly generous, with each plate brimming with the freshest sashimi. Side dishes are plentiful and delicious, making every bite feel like a feast. The quality rivals that of high-end restaurants, yet the prices are surprisingly affordable. It’s the kind of place that makes you wonder how they can offer so much for so little.

Prices are reasonable, food is fresh and delicious, service was prompt. No complaints. Pictured is the salmon aburi, and 3-item bento (Salmon sashimi, spicy pork, and tonkatsu).

Underrated sushi place. Very fresh! Better than TGI sushi!

Quick stop at lunch with the family. Fair prices for the area and food good, particularly the Bento boxes. The rolls have a good amount of fish and rice. It all tasted pretty fresh. Staff were friendly, there was only a minimal wait at around 1.45pm when we arrived. Would come again! ========= Update 11/2024 We usually stop by once in a while and came for an early dinner with the family, not much of a wait, staff again super friendly. Food was all pretty good - the only thing I would not recommend is the flame heated rolls - it was my fault as the heating/charring is not good for the delicate fish flavors so would not recommend that roll choice. I think it was there more for novelty roll. Other rolls were good! Recommend a stop in!

The sushi specials are really good, and great value that you get for the price. The tempura was really well done too, crispiest, lightest tempura that i have had for a long time. Great friendly service. Have ordered take out a few times, our family enjoyed the dine in. Gotta try the quail egg shooter! The oysters were also delicious! Apparently they're on special mon to Thursday, so we'll be heading back for them

Love this place! For someone who is gluten intolerant this place offer GF soy sauce and has some rolls that are definitely still delicious. Would recommend and can’t wait to go back.

The one thing that doesn't change here is the quality. The food is always extremely good! No matter what I have ordered, it has always been fresh and delicious. This has been my favorite sushi spot in the area for a while, and I recommend it to everyone I know.

The sushi here is top notch and it was my first time but definitely not the last time eating here. The service was stellar and the staff were all very friendly. The rolls are typical with the 8 pieces per roll but some rolls had large pieces of fish on top which was fantastic! The seafood all tasted very fresh and the rolls came out quickly. Granted it was a Sunday and it wasn’t to busy when we first got there but regardless, amazing service. We tried 5 rolls and not a single one I would not order again! The Fire Dragon and Five Star rolls are absolutely delicious!!

This sushi restaurant is tucked away in a small strip mall. Had excellent food and service. The miso soup was delicious, as was the cucumber salad as starters. My companion had a bento box and I had Gyoza along with several rolls. All were very tasty and well prepared. Also I ordered too much but it all looked good! Parking lot in front. Surprisingly large restaurant inside; appeared smaller from outside. Dine in available.

One of my go-to sushi spots in the South Bay, mainly for their fresh and large sashimi cuts and specials, such as the rock salt toro and salmon belly. I've only sat at the bar - both chef and staff service are excellent. The place looks unassuming, tucked in the back of a tiny strip mall, but is pretty popular so be sure to arrive before the dinner rush.

I met up with a couple girlfriends, one who frequents Kaizen, and it was my first. The food and service was great! We even received complimentary fish cheeks and it was delicious! Thank you! We met up at 5:30 pm and closed the place down at 9:30 pm. You HAVE to try the FRESH Wasabi, but you do have to ask for it. You don't need to add to soy sauce. It's a game changer! It was the first time I've had it and even heard of it. My girlfriend said she had it when she was in Hawaii. One thing that was questionable was the table was so sticky everything stuck to the table. Otherwise, everything was great.

Creative menu (sushi rolls), and a good number of veg options. For vegetarians they have five different entrees, I recommend the Spicy Tofu Don. Other dishes to try are the Salmon Belly, Scallops, special rolls Lion King and FBI. Service here's pretty good.

I waited quite a bit both to order and to get my food. The rice was kind of hard and didn’t taste great.

We ordered takeout. On first glance the food was well presented and looked good. Generous slices and the fish was fresh. We ordered the Hamachi Lover and an assortment of rolls. Although the fish was good, the problem was the rice. Rice was mushy and gummy and so subpar it detracted from the fish. Maybe an off day? But at this point I am not willing to plunk down 100 bucks again to see if it was an off day or not.

Waited 40 mins for my udon, they probably forgot. Food was ok but the meat was chewy as hell and they blast cheesy music. Overall meh but ok if you're willing to wait a while. I finished my coke before the food came. Also funny haha sushi names. Server was really nice though.

I Doordashed this place for the first time and am super upset at the portion sizes. The sushi itself looks pretty good, haven't tasted it yet. The salad and the miso portions are pathetic. I haven't touched either and this is the amount I received. Also my dasher, who was awesome, waiting 30mins for it to be ready at the restaurant and I waited over an hour. I live 10 minutes away. I don't mind waiting, but now for a sip of soup and 1 bite of salad for those prices :/ Might go in person and review again if the fish is good. I ordered Sashimi/Nigeria combo and the cherry blossom.
