Mendocino Farms Campbell Reviews
Small dining room but not the reason to be there. Grab a very delicious sandwich and gobble it down before someone asks for a little taste that will ultimately lead to another taste. My go-to is the "Peruvian steak" sandwich(paraphrasing) mouthwatering treat.
Mendocino farms has been one of our go-to places lately. They have really good and fresh sandwiches with bread they make in house. They also have really good salads and other choices of soups and sides. In addition, they have beer on top which is very nice as well.
Had an excellent experience at Mendocino Farms in Campbell! The food was delicious, fresh, and exactly what we were hoping for. Everything was well prepared and full of flavor. A huge shoutout to Adam R, who made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His positive attitude really stood out and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Great food, great service, and a great overall experience.
Every time I come into this location, I am greeted!! Everyone is extremely friendly and understanding, and the managers go above and beyond to ensure that everything is to my liking even with a brief interaction they are extremely positive and friendly, which makes you feel very welcomed at this location! The ambience here is great. It has a fresh updated feel to it! The food is always amazing!! You can taste the quality in all of their foods! I would highly suggest coming here and giving it a shot! The prices are fair, so definitely worth considering even on a budget!
Such a spacious and cute location with lots of outdoor seatings! Lovely decorated with wall plants and string lights, it's automatically a Yes for a dog mom like me who loves to bring their fur baby with them in all the eating adventures. The inside of the store is lovely as well with ample lighting and variation of bar-type seating areas by the windows or more private booths. You spot again the plant decoration throughout the store which makes the inside just as refreshing and inviting as the outside area. Head straight down to cashier area, order whatever calling for you, grab the receipt from with the order number on it from the cashier and feel free to head back to your table. You can grab a cup too and self serve yourself water if needed to. Once you're back to your table, scan the QR code on the table and enter your order #. That way, the staff know where you're seating to bring your orders to. I love that they have a screen with the menu displayed on an iPad-looking device which each is attached to each cash register. I can easily pick what I want from the menu there without craning my neck to look at the menu on the TV far away :) We ordered the Chimichurri Steak and Bacon and Chicken Pesto Caprese sandwiches. Our orders came out quickly and were neatly and cleanly presented on a metal tray. I love the portion and the sumptuous amount of veggies in each sandwiches. My chicken pesto Caprese sandwiches has shaved, roasted chicken breast, fresh mozzarella, marinated red peppers, basil pesto, mixed greens, balsamic glaze drizzle (600 cal) on panini-pressed clabatta! It's juicy and flavorful with a hint of balsamic vinegar and made me want to take one bite after another. My friend enjoy her sandwiches as well :) Overall, it was a lovely experience for us. I forgot to mention that the staff was polite and courteous as well which was a plus for me.
I visited Mendocino Farms during a slower time of day, and Luis still went above and beyond with his service. He was incredibly helpful with my order, patiently answering all my questions about ingredient modifications and making sure everything was just right. When I asked about Diet Coke, he let me know they didn’t offer it at the fountain machine, but instead of just saying no, he offered a great solution and let me know I could still order one separately. It was a small but thoughtful gesture. He also offered to have my salad dressing on the side without me even having to ask. Luis’s attention to detail and genuinely kind attitude made the whole experience feel personalized and easy. He’s the kind of team member who makes you want to come back!
This sandwich spot knows how to pack a punch of flavor - whether you’re a meat lover or all about the vegan life - this place is a must-visit! My vegan Banh Mi sandwich had fresh ingredients and creative combinations that made me rethink what a sandwich can be. The sweet potato soup was smooth and velvety with a touch of savory depth. Every Thursday, kids eat free, making this not just a great place for a meal but a welcoming space for families. Plus, they throw in crayons and coloring pages to keep the little ones entertained. Friendly staff and generous portions - this is the kind of spot that keeps you coming back.
August 2024 update: Chicken parm dip sando rocks. The dip is marinara sauce! Original: I like sandwiches but generally they’re no big deal. I’m going to say this sandwich was the best tasting I remember in a long time. Had the Italian beef half sandwich and tomato Basil soup meal for about $15 and it was delicious. The chicken pesto Caprese sandwich was also yummy. They have a few unique blended drinks. We had the Get Your Greens compressed of cucumber, kale, arugula, ginger, and lemon juice. Order on the all or inside at the counter, find a seat, put in there order number and they bring the food to you. Great system.
Great salads and such a large portion. The salads are ginormous! I got mine to go and seen the small looking plastic container but once dumped in a bowl, it's a good healthy and filling portion. The sandwiches are also super tasty! I recommend Mama Chens Chinese Chicken Salad, Impossible Taco Salad, and the A Sandwich Study of Heat! Perfect combination and split the sandwich!
Like most Mendocino Farms; it is located in a shopping center, has a typical blue cow (this one is stationed outside) and outdoor tables. The tables for this one are all in a line outside with plants and string lights on a patio of sorts. I got a chicken hummus wrap this time. I'm glad it graduated from a seasonal favorite as it was in March 2025. The tortilla is very chewy and the sheer size of it - it's bigger than many burritos 🌯 and definitely larger than the other sandwiches as it sits at more than 1000 calories. It tastes very refreshing, but filling. The hummus can be overwhelming. I wouldn't recommend curbside on weekends because it can get really hectic. I am not the biggest fan of double parking in the poorly designed Pruneyard Shopping Center parking lot with some one-ways.
Went today for my birthday! I had the Mama Chen’s Chinese chicken salad and I'd say it was pretty good! Unfortunately (I know this'll sound weird) the fork's texture was very disagreeable and bugged me throughout the whole meal. If you're sensitive to different metals in cutlery, I'd keep this in mind! Besides that, the portion was huge, which was great! But I also would've appreciated a bit of more protein. Service was super nice too. Overall; decent place!
I went Gen Korean BBQ yesterday for lunch and spent $30 for all you can eat and a drink. Today I get a bag of chips half full, a sandwich that is half the size of my local deli and a drink for $27. I am never coming here again. What a corporate joke. They are popular I have no idea why?
When ordering food for delivery in our household, I always recommend this restaurant. Well, no more. I realize how little profit margin restaurants have, however this was a complete ripoff and I felt as if this restaurant thinks people are too naive to notice. This size of the salad container is definitely smaller. I ordered Mama Chen’s Chinese chicken salad. The description indicates that there’s cilantro, but I couldn’t see any and I tasted it only in one bite. The cold soggy kids grilled cheese sandwich was made with brioche bread and the only other option on Uber Eats menu is gluten free bread. So you have a choice between a sweet grilled cheese sandwich or a tasteless one. The restaurants that offer their food on the delivery apps, must take in consideration the fees the customers pay to have the food delivered. Forty dollars for a salad and grilled cheese sandwich is outrageous. By the way, at least offer a whole apple instead of tiny slices! Very disappointing.
Be careful! There was a metal wire in my Peruvian steak.
