Out of the Barrel Campbell Reviews
A go-to spot for me. I love IPAs and my taste buds are always suuper happy with the selection at this location! I love to sit out on the patio and get some sunshine and I like that they do a stamp card when you buy beer to go. It's a little perk that keeps me coming back! :) Everyone who works here is really nice It's usually best for 4 or less people bc you'll get split up by seating. 2 people is kinda perfect. Note bc this got us and I always forget but no kids are allowed aha
Crazy how busy this place was on a Wed evening. Had been here a few times before with no one in the place. Great selection of 22 beers, ciders and hard seltzers on tap from all over CA. So much outdoor seating to enjoy the evening weather. Friendly beertenders and dog friendly.
Great spot for craft beer lovers! 🍻 This location has an excellent beer selection, with something for every palate — IPAs, sours, stouts, you name it. Staff is super friendly and helpful if you're not sure what to try. Highly recommend the beer flight if you want to sample a few options without going overboard (drink responsibly, folks 😄). One of the best things: it's BYOF – bring your own food! So grab something from the nearby restaurants and enjoy it here with a pint. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a chill hangout whether you're solo, on a date, or with a group of friends. Will definitely be back! 📍Located in Pruneyard, great vibes, easy parking can be tricky on weekends but generally easy.
I recently purchased a beer here and it ended up being delicious. This is likely the top beer / bottle shop in Campbell. They almost always have Humble Sea, Alvarado, Cellarmaker in house and sometimes other local gems like Sante or Moksa. Good spot for Rare Barrel and Yeast if Eden bottles as well and sometimes De Garde too. Update - this place still dank as hell!
I've only been here once but I can already tell it's going to be my new favorite beer spot. All the staff were super nice and hilarious! They have tons of great stuff on tap and a huge bottle/can selection. You can bring in food from one of the many options around pruneyard - I'd give it 10 stars if I could so far. Can't wait to come back!
I love this bar because, unlike some other craft beer taprooms, this one is laid back and the perfect place for a low key beer night. the rotating beers are always great, and the can prices are average. One big perk is that they have fresh Alvarado cans on Wednesday’s. The bartenders are nice and fun. This is a non-judgmental taproom where even beer beginners can feel safe asking any and all questions about their selection. Big plus, my dog can hang out here with me (because they don’t serve food). Also they have fun trivia on Mondays. Ask for Jon the beertender, he’s super rad.
Very considerate staff. Not being a beer drinker I always need help putting together a solid flight and I really enjoyed everything that they recommended. I was checked on a few times for satisfaction and REALLY enjoyed the empanada that they have for pairing w your food. Crispy crust and quality ingredients inside. Just go lol.
Great selection of beers. 22 taps with a far wall of coolers. They also have an outside patio area. One thing that I really like is no corkage fee for can or bottle consumption.
Out of the Barrel is a unique concept - it is a beer garden in the middle of a shopping center where you can order from 20+ beers on tap and bring outside food. From what I hear the selection of beer on tap rotates so you never know what you will get. The service is great (you can sample the beers), the beer is pretty good, but the seating is pretty limited. If you are lucky enough to score a seat you can people watch and take in the eclectic crowd while enjoying your beer. I would definitely go back if I had a few minutes at the end of the day. The Pruneyard is a pretty cool place.
Lovely beer taproom. Good option, fun beers, good atmosphere. It’s got screens for tv/sports and a fair amount of indoor/outdoor seating. Prices seemed a bit steep to me. Pet friendly. And the staff are ready to answer your questions.
Stellar beer selection hand picked to ensure premier, hard to find, crafted beers by highly regarded breweries. Expect more than one beer from a brewery for a rounded offering. Rami was the beertebder today and did a fine job describing and suggesting beers. The shop is new and expect a few hiccups and just be chill and have a beer. There is wine and mimosas as well as different option on the soda fountain such a apricot peach.
Great little brewery in the heart of Campbell! Lots of rotating taps, good atmosphere, and they let you bring in your own food. Plenty of great food options at the Pruneyard, so plan ahead, order to go, and enjoy a good beer with your food!
We are really lucky to have this spot to hang out play cards and have a brew. They have a good diversity of beers and styles on the menu that are always rotating and they have a lot of individual options to choose from in cans.
Great selection of beers and a great atmosphere. Check out the fridge for something different that's a bit cheaper. One of the few places that doesn't allow children, which is refreshing.
I had a couple No Paroles by Corralitos Brewing, based on the recommendation of one of the bartenders. A GREAT choice. Delicious beer and wonderful atmosphere. I've been here before and will be back again. On a Monday, a pleasant, quiet place to hang out with a friend or two and drink high quality, unique beer.

The best selection of micro brewery beers you find anywhere in the world. I once counted that they had 66 different IPAs, all micro brewery beers.

Good neighborhood hangout with friends for a pint or two. Would be even better if they can have food options. Suggest to order some takeout snacks from Luna next door to go with the delicious beers on tap.
I've had a lot of good past experiences here, but my most recent visit just felt off. The lady at the bar ID'ed me and looked at it for a really long time considering I was just buying a soda, in my 30s, and super pregnant. She said it was because they were a bar and everyone got carded to be there, but if that were the case why card at the bar and not at the entrance of the establishment? After my group and I sat down with our drinks, another lady came up just to double check that we all got carded and looked us up and down one by one. It was weird and really unwelcoming.

Good selection of beer. They have community seating but the whole place is quite cramped. The main room smelled horrendous. It was probably the dogs is my guess but whatever it was, made it quite unappealing.
The woman bartender here was extremely rude. When we were simply trying to clarify a question, she loudly said, “You cannot be on this property.” The man next to her didn’t bother to help either. The customer service here is absolutely terrible — zero courtesy or professionalism. Would not recommend this place at all.
The serving lady was very disrespectful asking us to step of the property even when we showed them DMV digital ID. There is way to tell customers asking for their ID but this lady’s tone was very condescending. If they don’t prefer to serve people of color. They should’ve put a sign outside. Never going there again. All 5 of us left.
