Really good Tapas, good choice of beer and no sign of the perceived xenophobia, that others complained about here. I can warmly recommend the place, especially as you can spend the time before the opening of your chosen place for lunch here in the best possible way.

Ever since we ate here we've been comparing the patatas bravas to this place and no-one has matched it! Lovely potatoes and a big serving of two sauces. We had a couple of beers in the afternoon with patatas bravas, calamari and mozzarella sticks/croquettes. Loved the first two and wouldn't get the mozzarella sticks again but that's personal taste (not lovers of croquettes). I only marked the atmosphere down because it was quiet on a Monday afternoon but it was lovely sitting outside watching the world go by.

Vaguely remember visiting here along with Booth and Madge. Good dry white wine and Moritz beer. Stayed for a few drinks and some really tastey tapas. Good tortilla. The albondingas even better. Loved the sauce. Well worth finding. Friendly service.

Late night and a few tapas to soak up the beer. Lovely fella working on his own to produce the most delicious meatballs and freshest softest calamari. Small menu but what they do they do well. Great place to watch the world go by.

I've never been but the negative comments are probably all political because they don't have a menú in Castillian Spanish. They have the menú in Catalan, French and English. Small minded Spanish tourists should make an effort or find a place that suits their tastes, here there are plenty

Really nice place to have a beer and some tapas. We ordered a lot but everything came quickly and was very nice, would recommend the squid or mushroom croquettes those were lovely. Owner (or staff) was very kind too. They played funky music but it fit the vibe of the place.

No tienen carta en castellano. Y si la pides dicen que quieres imponerles tu lengua. Odian España y odian su gente. Cuando están en España y son españoles🤷🏼‍♂️. Muy listos no son. Espero que nadie que no sea de los suyos acuda

Fuimos a una comida familiar para celebrar el 80 cumpleaños de mi abuelo. No tenían el menú en español (solo catalán, inglés y francés) y pese a escucharlos hablar en español y dirigirnos a ellos en ese idioma, ellos solo te hablaban en catalán o inglés. Mi abuelo no pudo contener las lágrimas al ver que una fecha tan especial con la familia reunida se veía truncada por no querer el personal comunicarse en español ni para pedir los platos. Finalmente nos tuvimos que marchar muy decepcionados. No volveremos jamás. Trato pésimo. Cero empatía.

Lamentable que un restaurante ubicado en una ciudad turística como es Gerona sólo se atienda en catalán y se niegue a hacerlo en español aún sabiendo que no eres residente en Cataluña. Pero lo verdaderamente escandaloso e inadmisible es que la Srta que gestiona el restaurante ridiculice públicamente a través de redes sociales a los clientes que no entienden el catalán.

Fui con una amiga alemana que está aprendiendo español. Al pedir la carta en castellano nos empezaron a soltar una turra sobre imposiciones lingüísticas y no sé qué historia. Además, comida fría, aparentemente pasada y baños sucios, incluso con dos cucarachas! Nada recomendable.

Madre mía que vergüenza de “restaurante” nos hicieron esperar 1 hora al sol teniendo mesas libres. Mi pobre madre, que iba en silla de ruedas, se tuvo que levantar porque no podía pasar. Y encima la comida y el trato no merecieron ni la espera ni el sufrimiento.

Ignorant staff & bain-marie food. We were completely ignored by staff who were too busy talking amongst themselves & their friends. No acknowledgement at all of our presence despite the fact they were not busy. Do not go to this place, they do not deserve your patronage.

Place wasn’t busy. Staff ignored me when I stood at the counter for attention. Boisterous (friends of staff) arrived and pushed past me without apologising and got immediate attention from staff joking. I was still ignored. No acknowledgement at all. Food looked unappetising sitting in a bain-marie. After more minutes of being ignored I turned and left without anyone trying to stop or help me. I would not recommend.

A local place, wanted to go eat tapas there with 4 of us, because of the reviews. The owner or waiter, was not interested from the start. We asked if its possible to eat, his reponse was. Yeah you can inside, no one was sitting inside because of the great weather. We waited for a bit outside and suddenly a table became free. We asked the owner if we can sit there, his response was a quick no while serving beer to the table next. This was a very unpleasent experience for such wonderful city.

I totally not recommend this place. If you will seat here in the day, the sun will burn you, I had to wait for my order more than a hour (ordered lunch first and second dish) and finally got the dish with hair🤮 And check your bill before you pay. We have got a bill more than we ordered
