I had a very good experience, the food was REALLY good. The only shady thing was, I spoke to them in Spanish I got a menu with reasonable prices. My friend also came to them but doesn't speak Spanish and she had a menu with higher prices.

Great place to eat, and people watch in the market. The staff are kind with tourists and the food is delicious and a great value. Will be part of my positive memories of Cancun and a place I will return. We had three meals here.

Open food restaurant, I ordered the quesadilla and a papa con chorizo flauta. It was good. The tortilla for the quesadilla was super thick and meat under seasoned, but through salsa on it and it was good. The flauta was my favorite, robust with flavor and perfectly crisp. Nothing to go home and brag about but good enough for a lunch stop.

Good prices, great service. The food was filling. It wasn't a fancy meal, but the serving sizes were good. Our waiter was very friendly and tried his best to explain everything to us. Don't go if you want a special meal, but if you want to experience what locals eat for a quick meal out at the market, it's a good experience. The coffee is instant, but I suggest the chocomil shake. It was so good. And the guac was also delicious. You get a lot of hot sauce and limes with your meal.

We left the resort and went here on Wednesday, 10/23/2025. I haven't been to Mexico in 14 years, and thank God I was able to go this year! I was still learning the pesos-to-dollars conversation. They knew we were on a sightseeing tour and took advantage of us. It was me, my husband, and my two kids. They charged us a lot. No wonder they weren't busy. I was alone. The other restaurants were busier. I wish I could go back in time and go somewhere else. Here they charged us almost $100 (1,800 pesos)!!!! The fresh waters weren't good (get two flavors) and the food wasn't good either. Don't go here if you're on a sightseeing tour. Or rather, if you're a local, don't go. They scam people. They should give me my money back. I'm going to have to go on TikTok and warn everyone about this place. I don't want what happened to us to happen to them. Everyone there didn't say they scammed us. They are super slow (kitchen and waiters), the prices $$$ are not worth it for what it is, I feel ripped off, the taste is not bad, but definitely do not eat here.

Be careful, the waiter inflated the prices and wanted to charge us much more than expected. When we checked the bill, we realized he was overcharging us by almost $300. After clarifying with the owner, she told us that a fish cost $160, but they were charging us $280. The waiter acted offended and denied that he was overcharging us. The fish was very small and was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside.

Don't eat here. I ordered a Tlalpeño broth, and it was a mixed broth made from leftovers from other broths. It tasted a bit like beef and seafood. The vegetables seemed at least day old. The chicken also had a recycled taste. The place also smelled like a sewer at times.

Bad taste, expensive for what it is, and what's more, we saw how they put the water they leave back in the jug and then serve it to you. They're not that unlucky, either. Besides, I asked for one thing and they brought me something else.
