This is the best Asian food I had so far in Mexico. I got salmon sushi, soyu ramen, and orange juice, and they were so fantastic! OISHI 🍜🍣 we can also talk to the chef, some of them are Japanese so I can feel the originality of the food, I mean just like in Japan. Just enough to soothe my longing for Asian food after a whole month of Mexican cuisine 😅

Food was delicious, the shrimp in the tempura was huge, meaty, & light batter. I regret not getting just shrimp tempura instead of mixed tempura. Server split portion and presentation into 2 bowls of the hanaichi ramen since me and my partner were sharing one. Cancún roll has good grilled eel and spicy scallop

The best Japanese food that we've tried in Mexico! I've never been in Japan but I'm pretty sure the flavor is super authentic The service was amazing and fast and the servers were super friendly and kind to letting know about the menu. If you are in Cancun don't missed.

Visited April 2024 - Superb flavour and excellent cooking of the fried rice dishes, and the vegetable tempura was crispy and well seasoned. We went for hot dishes rather than sushi, but can highly recommend the fried rice if you're looking for something comforting and just need a bit of a break from Mexican food. The restaurant is a very relaxing place to be, good air conditioning too if you want a break from the sun and don't want to go into the supermarket across the road. The service was efficient and friendly, not many people in the restaurant at lunch time, but it was still a nice place to be. Prices are standard for the mid to lower range in Cancun.

It’s really really nice and authentic and every dish I can feel the dedication and craftsmanship, almost make me cry, after tasting so many Japanese cuisine prepared by Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Each dish is outstanding in its own category! It’s been a long long time since I taste something like this in East Village in NYC! Btw I am from and live in NYC and travel all over the place.

Fantastic Sushi and Japanese restaurant with a great atmosphere, and wonderful service. We had a selection of nigiri, several rolls, fried rice, and some edamame. The otoro nigri and hamachi were absolutely fantastic. The fried rice was delicious and we would highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't just want sushi. The service was highly attentive, helpful, and made our experience all the better. Our server spoke 3 languages (Japanese, Spanish, and English) very well, and was very knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant had a very authentic Japanese restaurant aesthetic. Minimalistic, with lots of dark stained wood and a cozy soft feeling.

I'll get straight to the point, the ramen here was so incredibly good I'm actually disappointed that I tried it because now I'm back in the states and the ramen restaurants in my area just doesn't compare. The sushi was quite good as well and the service and atmosphere was all just fine. I will definitely be back here again if I ever find myself back in Cancun!

A very simple small Japanese restaurant tuck on the tiger side of the noisy part of Cancun! We decided to try this as we are tired of Mexican food and being harassed where we at by people around! This restaurant has a very very good food, authentic, tasty and amazing taste! We are fun of Japanese in US and everywhere we go , so this one pass our tastebuds! Everything was really good , even the presentation of the food - and very relaxing little place! We loved it and highly recommended!

One of the highlight of our stay in Cancun! Went there 4 times and everything is just so delicious! Best quality sushi and a very reasonable pricing. Its remarkable how sushi, ramen, udon and rolls are all decadent! Wow

We got here because people told us about it. So we decided to stop there like two years ago. The place left us breathless, I mean, not the biggest architecture but you can feel de Japanese environment, Amazing quality on the dishes, really excellent service! The plates were exceptional, We enjoyed our time here, food, drinks. We ate… For the main course we ate sashimi, and omg what a great decision… so delicious. We also tasted nigiris, Yakitori and dashimaki tamago which were awesome. Really authentic place. We'll be back for sure.. We recommend this place to everyone.

Hanaichi in the Hotel Zone area of Cancun is a good place for Japanese. We were looking forward to a couple dishes like the grilled yellow and another dish that we saw had good reviews but unfortunately they ran out. They were actually out of a few other dishes we tried to order. We had a couple good dishes and a couple were so so. We ordered the Una Jyu which is grilled eel over rice and that was delicious. The gyu filet which is beef tenderloin, that was OK. salmon habachi was good. And a fish that I can't recall the name but here's a photo. It was okay. Their tempura ice cream was just ok too.

The meal was delicious, satisfying, and served quickly. I tried ramen and some rolls, which were exceptionally tasty. I also had the opportunity to try the octopus. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were friendly.

Really good and quite authentic sushi!! Price was not bad compared to Vancouver,Canada. There was a slight English barrier when we were ordering . But overall good and fresh food!

Underwhelming. Nice presentation and arrangement of dishes. Server and menu - Spanish only. Extremely limited stock of sake, decided to get a wine instead. Sashimi fine, veggies tempura disappointing, especially dipping sauce, watery, lacking substance and taste. Nice, strong wasabi.

Stumbled upon this sushi restaurant in a second level strip mall overlooking a parking lot. All the servers were friendly & helpful. We had some very fresh fish and soups. Nothing special but also no complaints.

decent japanese food/sushi if you’re craving for japanese food here. it’s a bit pricey for a more casual place. but the langoustine nigiri was good - get it. other nigiri was fine, too. the sashimi set was not worth it. tempura (undercooked) udon was ok. we’d only prefer the nigiri here.

The food arrived at best tepid, not hot. The servers spent time gossiping. I had to call them over to ask for another beer. Food tasted good although not hot, but overpriced for what you get. I live in Cancun, I will not recommend or ever go back. Lots of MUCH better restaurants to choose from at lower prices.

Came in on a Thursday, it was pretty quiet. Ordered the softshell crab roll and the gyutan (beef tongue). The beef tongue was overcooked and really chewy. Soft shell crab roll was really oily, and the roll fell apart too easily. It crumbled with a small pinch of my chopsticks. The rice felt like it was missing something, it was not seasoned with sushi rice seasoning or vinegar. Wish the dishes came with wasabi or ginger. Staff was friendly and patient which is an added star.
