Went back again after so long for their empanadas. I ordered 6 of them $3.75 each; 2 of each with Spinach & cheese, Chicken & Beef. My mom & I both agreed that the ones with beef were the most flavorful! The other flavors were good too.. it's just we liked the beef ones the most. The salsa & chimicury sauce they gave us were tasty as well! Recommended to others 👍🏻☺️

A cozy and lowkey spot perfect for a mellow outing or a tranquil date. Today was our second time in and we ordered bistec a lo pobre and the pescado frito. Both were delicious! In addition to the amazing food there’s also a great selection of home made pastries for dessert or to take home. Servers were attentive and accommodating. Will be coming back! If you are thinking about it; do yourself a favor and check this place out! :)

Excellent place to try Chilean food! Everyone was very nice and kind, even when I went for September 18th, they we’re running around but they kept their kindness. The food is amazing! I’m obsessed with “Pan Amasado”

Loved the service and the food!!! I had the “cazuela” a Chilean beef soup, it was delicious! Plus we tried the Chilean bread, cheese and beef empanadas plus for dessert, we had, “pastel de mil ohas”, a Chilean pastry. If you want to try the best Chilean empanadas and cuisine, Chilenazo is the place to go. Only downside is that it’s too small. I would love to take all my family there but we wouldn’t fit. Haha.

Best Chilean restaurant outside of Chile lol Food was excellent and big portions. Service was impeccable. Good variety. Clean bathrooms. Guaranteed I’m coming back and I don’t even live in LA . If you like Chilean food I recommend you come here. And if you haven’t tried Chilean food come here and you will love it. Either way it’s a win!

Great spot! Food was really good. Service on point. Gave us a free dessert cause they were closing & had extras. Try the Pastel de Choclo. So good. Only a few places in So Cal serve this dish.

CHILE 🇨🇱 Eat the World LA review: When Chile is next involved in a big international football match, I am definitely coming here to watch it. All the components of Chilean culture, mostly having to do with the extensive culinary options, are here, as well as a wall dedicated to the people and places of the country. It is fun to look through, especially for an outsider that may be unfamiliar with many of the famous people. But footballers like Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal are unmistakable, and a Chilean identity would be inauthentic without them. Chilenazo has lived in this Canoga Park strip mall since the beginning of the decade, one of the only outposts of comida chilena in all of Los Angeles. The blinds are drawn, the windows are tinted, you can't see in, but open the door and it is all fun inside once your eyes adjust.

Very simple restaurant on the inside but their food is amazing. i think we’ve tried just about everything on the menu and you can’t go wrong. My wife is Chilean and this is our happy place when it comes to food. Their sandwiches, empanadas and pastel de choclo are some of the best we’ve ever had.

Bought every type of Empanada I could. These are.soooo good. Very friendly staff too. I will visit again and try other things on the menu. Andrea was so nice brought me bread as I waited on my to-go order on the house and that bread melts in your mouth its soo...good.

The finest Chilean-Peruvian Restaurant in LA, perhaps the only one of its kind in the area. Both delightful comfort food and cozy family dining. You can tell this place has been around for over six years not because of sophisticated marketing campaigns, but fabulous word-of-mouth (and appreciative mouth). Going to have to be provocative and say Chilenazo's empanadas are superior to Porto's Bakery's, in value and awesomeness. Appetizers to Dessert...sweet or savory taste buds...Can't go wrong.

My family and I were driving through the area looking for some food to eat that wouldn’t take too long or be a whole outing. We drove past this place, saw the sign for empanadas and decided to stop and try it. Oh my gosh, best decision we’ve made in awhile. This was all of our first times trying Chilean food and wow it did not disappoint. We started off with the Palta Raina, a whole avocado cut in half and filled with Chicken salad on a bed of lettuce with tomatoes and a boiled egg, which was divine! My brother got the 2 beef empanadas with fries and he was in heaven, we also tried a chicken empanada it was also so so delicious. My mom decided to go with one of their Peruvian dishes, Lomo Saltado, which is steak red onions tomatoes and peppers over fries with a side of rice - honestly by the time it came out, we were so full cause we all wanted to share and try each other’s plates, but we forced ourselves to eat as much as we could cause how could we not, it was worth it. The meat melts in your mouth, cooked to perfection, fries amazing, rice delicious. Lastly, I tried the churrasco with fries, a steak sandwich with an avocado spread, tomatoes, and a strip of mayo. Normally it comes on a different type of bread, so they put it on their hotdog bread instead, and honestly I loved it, the bread was so good, and just like the Lomo Saltado, the meat was just perfect and delicious, the avocado was spectacular. Oh and the Maracuya Nectar juice was absolutely divine!! We’re from Hawai’i, and we love our Lilikoi/passion fruit, and omg highly recommended to try it! Our overall experience for a lowkey quick dinner here was just perfect all around. We were all saying how grateful we were to have found this spot and enjoy a delicious family meal together. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to come back!!

The best EMPANADAS in Los Angeles. As a Chilean I don’t miss my favorite treats, sandwiches or plates because Chilenazo has them all. To say that I love this place is an UNDERSTATEMENT 💕💕💕💕💕

I walked in and could tell this was going to be amazing. Not disappointed in the slightest. Dianna walked me through the menu. Empanadas were fantastic. Orange cake, layers of light, zesty, sweetness...all made from scratch. That's the thing...they start at ...what time in the morning (2am?)...to start baking Every. Single. Item. for the days' sales. Blown away. Bring your appetite because the churrasco looks amazing...and huge!

Little spot with Chilean food. I was getting food to go and I loved the delicious smells inside when waiting for my food. Seems like they definitely specialize in Empanadas so it's a must have for me to try next time. I ordered the fish and chips to go. They were a little softer than I normally like my white fish and not as crunchy as I'd like but still very good. Comes with a red sauce and green sauce which was different than your traditional tartar sauce. They have daily specials and make their own fresh juices as well. They also make some cakes and have baked goods. Multiple options to do here!

authentic Chilean food. Staff was gracious and welcoming. We came by for lunch on a saturday afternoon and the place is small but the food did not disappoint. "home made" bread and empanadas were great. The green chile (hot sauce) they offer is the best. I give it 4 stars because the food was a bit salty. I will come back

I’m so disappointed in the pastel de choclo this time! My husband is Chilean and we live down in Santa Monica, so we stop by for Chilean food whenever we are nearby. Usually the food is great, but this time it was all just meh. My pastel de choclo cost $20 and is mostly corn mash, which definitely doesn’t justify the price. We got takeout, so by the time I realized what a rip-off it is, it was too late to do anything about it. There aren’t many good Chilean places around the LA area, so this is a huge disappointment.

The facility is attractive and clean, nice ambiance and great service. The beef in my Lomo Montado was a bit tough, the fries, quinoa and rice over cooked. I’ll come back and give it one more try because of the service. When vegetables are too soft they are depleted from its nutrient. Don’t understand why cooks forget that😳

Food was not the taste i was expecting. The enpandas had a weird taste and funny smell. Maybe because it was my first time eating Chilean food. 🤔 The paella was decent I would definitely order it again.

They removed several plates, the manu is limited, and you might need to ask because sometimes the prepare plates that are not on the menu. Still you will find good empanadas. Parking could be a bit chaotic, but you can always find a spot

Once they opened the restaurant next to it. Papa que Rico I never went back. Period ,,😁😁😁 in retaliation to bad review, she went to my business and left me a fake review. this is the kind of person she is, she doesnt wanna make things better. i think now a day doing these fake reviews can have legal actions, so if you go here tell her to consult a lawyer before. she didnt even use a fake name or pic.

check your receipt, they over charge you all the time. the food used to be good. funny chilean restaurant mexican stile. overpriced for what you get and the quality nasty. the last time i went a hair came in the food, i told the owner and she told me to remove it.

I was really excited to finally try Chilean food and had high expectations when I visited Chilenazo two days ago. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I simply asked a few questions about the menu because I’m not very familiar with Chilean dishes and wanted to understand what I was ordering. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like my questions were an inconvenience. The staff member who assisted me — who seemed to be the manager — came across as dismissive and somewhat rude, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable. As a first-time customer trying something new, I expected a bit more patience and friendliness. Sadly, the attitude overshadowed the experience. I won’t be coming back.
