The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven with excellent ingredients, and the staff is truly friendly and helpful. They make you feel right at home. The pizza chef is also incredibly nice! I can honestly say this place was a delightful discovery.

A hearty and tasty lunch, featuring Piedmontese specialties, excellent pizza, and five-star gluten-free cuisine, along with delicious homemade bread. The owners are kind and very friendly; every time I'm in Turin, a trip to Cantalupa is a must.

My husband really enjoyed the mushroom menu. I had polenta with wild boar in civet sauce. Excellent. Perhaps, for my personal taste, I would have preferred soft polenta to mix with the civet sauce, but everything was really good. Very kind staff. Well organized. Clean bathrooms, which is no small feat with so many people (the Cantalibri event). Thank you.

Great local restaurant : good food and atmosphere, friendly service, and kids friendly (with some games in the backyard for kids/teens and older ;)) We were staying in the region for a week and came back three times ! Diverse menu, great and large pizzas!, good/cheap house wine and nice garden/terrasse.

Very friendly staff. A happy oasis for a celiac. I had one of the best gluten-free pizzas (dough) ever. The Piedmontese cuisine is also good. Very welcoming location. There's an outdoor play area where children can play.

It had been a while since we were there and this time we all took dishes from the kitchen/grill (no pizza). They made us sit in an outside area that I had never seen, near the grill: very nice. Distracted service, slow in taking the order and initially surly (you take my order after half an hour of sitting down and then you rush me in an impatient way...?!? Not good). At the end some forced jokes and irony from the restaurateur. Apart from this, at the table we all ate in a disorderly manner; those who took the first course and then the second, finished at least 10 minutes before the others received their only dish from the grill... not to mention that the side dish arrived at the beginning, 30-40 minutes before the main course. Spaghetti with clams and fried calamari abundant but mediocre (little taste of the sea, but a lot of garlic). The grilled fish and meat were good too. I can't comment on the bill because it was offered by friends, I hope he had a discount even if I don't think so. Will I go back...? Not for now.

Bad experience! Hot appetizers arrived cold, first courses arrived cold and second courses guess what arrived cold..... Wild boar is one of those foods that you either know how to make or you don't, and unfortunately this is one of those cases..... You could only taste the wine and the rosemary, the taste was non-existent.... Now I don't know how it is possible to make wild boar and make it lose all its flavor! There are 2 options, either you don't know how to make it or it's not wild boar. In the hot appetizers that arrived cold... As a garnish there was some salad and so far everything was normal, too bad not even one leaf was fresh... All half brown in spots and one half straight black! The friendliness of the staff was low but not non-existent, the only positive note was the desserts, they know how to make them and obviously cold but with desserts that's how it should be! Conclusion if you want a good dessert this is the right place! For the rest, an experience not to be repeated at all. It's a shame because the place has potential.

We'd been going there for years for paella, about twenty years ago. We returned in mid-August 2024 for a reunion with the same friends. We were unpleasantly disappointed—I repeat, unpleasantly disappointed, considering the good times we'd had there years ago. 1) The beer arrives. Black instead of red. We pretend nothing's happening so as not to embarrass the waitress. The owner arrives and clarifies. It was avoidable. 2) A pizza and a first course aren't delivered. We think it's normal. We all finish our meals and go ask. They'd forgotten. The pasta arrives undercooked and without salt. 3) The table across the way is full of total louts, yelling, making a racket, etc. None of the staff says anything. 4) The waitress lists the desserts for us. As chef Alessandro Borghese says, it's best to bring the dessert menu. She suggests a few desserts verbally, including a "dessert with a warm heart." It arrives, but there's no warm heart. I ask for an explanation, and am told it's a winter dish, not a summer one. 5) The same waitress, undoubtedly reprimanded for the mistake, brings us two nearly empty bottles of amaro and leaves them there on the table without explanation, visibly annoyed. The glasses are paper; I would have preferred glass. 6) We go to pay and have to wait because the waitress didn't load the desserts into the computer system. It's basically a series of errors. What happened in these past years?!?! Please correct this and give us a chance to come back. Thank you.

Friendly staff, very large and crowded place. I only read the reviews after eating the pizza! If I had, I would have definitely ordered something else. Unfortunately, the pizza was overcooked and thin, so it was dry. The margherita, which is the base of the pizza, had a layer of tomato sauce and mozzarella galore, and olives that aren't part of the recipe. So thin that after two minutes it was a Frisbee! The others at my table, who ordered different pizzas, were "saved" by the toppings. I sincerely hope they can improve because, as of now, I absolutely wouldn't recommend eating the pizza.

Even though I'd been there several times, this place could have been an interesting option, but instead, the owner, quite frankly, disliked me! The reason? Wrong gluten-free pizzas, or pizzas with holes in the center, or dough lacking salt, or GF pasta dishes cooked incorrectly, overcooked. In short, it was a disaster for me. I've attached the only decent pizza.

The table wasn't ready despite our reservation. We ordered a variety of food, including pizza. Nothing like the quality Piedmontese meats, the pizza was dry and tasteless, the first courses were unremarkable, and the service was poor. Dogs on the outdoor terrace barked incessantly. It was undoubtedly an unpleasant evening, and money well spent. We won't be returning.

Overall, a terrible experience. Rude staff and subpar pizzas. My group of friends (10 in total) and I ordered takeout pizzas. When we picked them up, the pizza chef scolded us, saying, "If you have to order so many pizzas, you should do it at a different time, you've packed up the place!" He concluded with, "Next time, go somewhere else." Unfortunately, we weren't quick enough and rude enough to respond, but it would have been enough to tell us when we booked; we would have GLADLY chosen another place. The pizzas were also cold, very small, and rubbery (photos attached). Needless to say, we won't be returning and will avoid it whenever possible.
