We had dinner on Saturday evening with reservations (otherwise there's never room). Two mixed grill menus and two rib-eye menus, complete with everything down to the bitter end. Very good meat served on a hot griddle with a mix of side dishes... Grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, etc. A casual place where you can laugh and joke.

I occasionally go there for lunch and have always had a great experience. €12 for a full meal, authentic like it used to be, with butter galore! But there are plenty of alternatives; if you ask for an extra bottle of water, they'll still give you the same price. The service is friendly, there's a lot of people at lunch, but the staff isn't above being polite or making a joke if they can. The casoncelli alla bergamasca (pictured) is tops!

It's now a regular stop when we're in Carnate, both for work and with family. Fabulous Florentine steak with a delicious menu and wine pairing. Excellent cutlet!!! Delicious ossobuco!!! All the dishes we tried were delicious, both in the evening and at lunch, even with the always varied all-inclusive menu. My only advice: go early for lunch because they sell everything... A classic trattoria that never changes, simple and welcoming. Highly recommended for takeout too.

Luogo molto carino e confortevole, personale giovane, gentile ma soprattutto sveglio! Cibo di ottima qualità!

Luogo rustico dove si mangia rustico e bene con prezzi giusti. Consiglierei di aggiungere qualche pannello fonoassorbente perché quando c'è molta gente c'è molta confusione.

We went there with friends on a Friday evening. The place was almost full. What bothered us was the service. Having ordered different dishes, it was clear that the kitchen had gone haywire. Some of us wanted the second course after the first, which arrived a good hour later, so some of us had finished and others were still waiting for the second course. Terrible service.

Posto da vera trattoria, dalle tovagliette di carta all’arredamento. Ci siamo stati oggi a pranzo e c era il menù fisso da 11€ solo primo e contorno, 13€ secondo e contorno e 15€ menù completo e la scelta era varia! I piatti sicuramente non abbondanti, lo spiedino non sugoso, però la tagliata al gorgonzola mi è piaciuta, anche gli spinaci al burro sono piaciuti molto e le patatine fritte non erano unte. Piacevole sorpresa che acqua e caffè erano inclusi. Io lo consiglio a chi non è di troppe pretese ma non vuole spender molto mangiando abbastanza bene! Locale un po’ rumoroso ma magari è stato un caso, servizio veloce e gentili.

Average food, nothing out of the ordinary in my opinion, good appetizer but rather meager (the photos you see of the appetizers are meant to be shared between two), let's just say I wasn't thrilled with the other dishes either. Personally, it was an experience I probably won't repeat. I paid with restaurant tickets, which I was told on the phone plus a 5% commission. On the spot, I paid 10%, which I'd say was a bit excessive, especially considering I'd exchanged one thing for another. But it's not my style to flinch, and I gave what I was asked for. There are worse places, but probably also better places where I've had more substantial gastronomic experiences, but as they say, there's no dispute about taste!

Overall, the food is good, and I have nothing bad to say about the quality. However, there are some negatives: you have to wait really long for your dishes to arrive, and the portions aren't uniform—some people get more, others less, and they're often quite small.
