Wow. The best pizza in all Lake Tahoe. This place definitely taste like a New York Pizza. Came here on a Monday afternoon without realizing that you have to call ahead to place a pizza order. The worker was graciously nice enough to explain that there was a one hour wait, yet we were willing to wait. Oh boy, I’m glad we waited as this pizza was fantastically delicious .. 🤤 I can’t wait to come back here again next year !

It’s definitely a local gem at Tahoe city! We tried the BBQ chicken pizza and three-cheese pizza, both freshly baked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot-on, with the BBQ chicken adding a smoky-sweet kick and the three-cheese blend giving a rich, savory taste. The service was quick, and the place has a warm, cozy vibe that makes you want to settle in and enjoy every bite. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, making it easy to indulge. Highly recommend for a satisfying, local pizza experience!

Stopped in during a visit to Tahoe. We spent the weekend in South Lake Tahoe, but we clearly made a mistake. We love Tahoe City and we love this pizza place. You guys are so chill and your pizza is rad. We had a slice and ended up ordering a whole pizza for our 2 hour trip home. I can't wait to come back to visit you guys!!!

Came here with some friends after hiking in the area. Good: - The pizza comes out freshly baked and so so good - Super nice staff, there was also a popup that day with tasty cupcakes - The tye dye pesto pizza and burrata with honey were some of my favorites! Super good and it's not too greasy so you can eat more of it - We got a chefs choice and it was large but similarly tasty - Ample seating inside, but does fill up fast. It wasn't too busy at 3 pm on a Saturday - Super homey and cozy ambiance inside Bad: - The wait time gets long when it's busy. Overall this place was good value for the amount of food and just the experience feels very authentic too!

My first impression of this pizzeria was wow great customer service is all I can say ! Everyone was so friendly when we walked in ! since the atmosphere was so nice and all the workers were so friendly. I was really hoping the pizza was good as well and guess what? It really was ! The pizza took about 40 minutes, but I wasn’t upset about that. It was super good. Their pizzas are also very filling .

The pizzas were out of this world. Fresh house made burrata makes such a difference ! Their hot honey is truly delicious. We couldn’t try any ice cream as they were closing for deep cleaning and so had very limited flavors. But I saw people coming and leaving with whatever flavours they had available just for the taste! There is a little patio in front of you want to sit with your dog( which is my case always). Highly recommend !

A damn fine slice! Just what I was craving after a 6 mile hike!! Laid back pizzeria serving up New York Style slices and pies. Great options and chill vibes. Staff are friendly and serious about their excellent offerings. Had the Burrata and the hot honey is divine! Thanks again for the awesome slice!

One of the best slices I’ve ever had! Perfectly crisp crust, well flavored sauce and a generous amount of toppings on a large slice that is well portioned for lunch or dinner. I had a custom slice with black olives and mushrooms and my daughter had a pep slice— both delicious. Chill vibes, and friendly service. A bonus is the homemade ice cream from a local dairy. The banana chip and cookies and cream are popular flavors! Ample parking and a good walking area.

Awesome! Saw all the positive online reviews and walked into a very busy pizzeria which usually means it’s going to be good. The wait was going to be very long to order a pie, BUT the guy working made an exception and squeezed my order in to his already long list of orders. So glad to have been able to try this pizza before leaving town. The crust was chewy and crunchy in all the right ways and the topics were flavorful. I’ll be back next time.

This spot is legit good. Easily my favorite pizza spot in Tahoe. They say they let the food speak for itself and they are 100% true. The definition of a local pizza spot that takes pride in their work and just wants to put out great product. They give great suggestions, have awesome pizza combination and honestly just a cool vibe overall. Also they kept prices extremely reasonable and portion sizes especially by slice are phenomenal. If you are debating what to use eat, just ask the staff they will 100% point you in the right direction. Seating is tight so not the best space for a large group but plenty of seating around so grab a slice to go and go enjoy the beauty that is Tahoe. Street parking for those driving. Again highly recommend if looking for a great pizza spot in Tahoe.

I haven't had a good slice of pizza is a very long time. Got tired of eating slices that had too much dough and under baked. This spot didn't disappoint! Dough was crunchy, soft, and thin! And the toppings / ingredients they use tasted whole and high quality! Im definitely returning next snow season. Nice to have AUTHENTIC New York style pizza after shredding fresh powder lines. Guy working, Conor, showed me some cool areas to snowboard too.Thanks!

This place is a great quick grab for lunch or dinner, we got here right at open and ordered a whole pizza for our group and it was out of the oven and ready in less than 10 minutes! The guy that helped us was awesome and super nice also! They have whole pizza and by the slice options depending on what your looking for (if you have a party of 4 or more you can't order by the slice, but they have an option for 1/2 and 1/2 toppings.)

My wife and I had dinner here. Alex, the owner, was setting up shop all by himself and though the doors opened a few minutes past opening time (4pm on Monday), Alex greeted us, made sure to clean tables, and started taking our orders right away. It was a lot for one person to do all this. Including my wife and I, there were around 3 other parties and numerous phone orders that Alex was handling very well. My wife and I shared one Burrata slice that originally Alex thought he had run out of ingredients for, but once he saw some extra, he remembered us and made it for us right away. We also originally ordered a Detroit style, meat lovers pizza. But Alex suggested we get a specialty pizza Detroit style so we went with the Tye Dye. We really appreciated his suggestion to change the pizza flavor cause it was really delicious. We also saw Alex being very attentive and courteous to other customers. He would notify customers of when their pizza was put in the oven, how much time it approximately took for it to be done, and was constantly aware of anything his customers might need. He did this all by himself for almost an hour until one of his employees showed up to help. Last but certainly not least, the pizza was absolutely delicious, made fresh to order and worth the wait! We also recommend getting the Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet. It’s a great way to finish a meal with something tangy and refreshing. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. Thank you Alex and Mountain Slice, you guys are the real deal!

When I called to order, the person on the phone was dry and dismissive and refused to answer basic questions about specialty pizzas, repeatedly telling me to check the website and call back even after I explained I already had. It felt like placing an order was an inconvenience rather than a normal part of their service. When my friend picked up the order and asked about the gratuity due to the poor service, the staff member refused to answer clearly and said the pizza wouldn’t be given unless it was paid. When the phone call was mentioned, we were told they didn’t have time to spend five minutes answering questions because they were busy, which did not appear to be the case. Answering reasonable customer questions is part of the service. The food has always been good, but the customer service during this visit was not.

Tonight it tasted and looked like dominos. I thought I wasn’t even at the same place. Truly so sad. This place was life changing quality last year. We got the burrata and there was literally zero basil, zero honey, dominos crust dust and the most flavourless cheese.
