It was my first time here! I am very pleased. A great afternoon quick bite stop or fun with family or a group. When you eat with Armadillios, you are served generous portions, quality meats, and great flavor. The chicken and beef both have rich Tex-Mex flavor. Beef spices to die for. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Nice blonde girl at the register. Great food preparation by the Hispanic females on the line. While Tex-Mex is sometimes seen as less authentic Hispanic food. I am happy to see these Latin workers at this location marrying the two styles. Authenticity comes from the people who prepare and think about our meal. I appreciate their warm smiles. I smile. ☺️🫡 A casual environment kept very tidy. Open first floor. Handicap accessable, I believe, with windows. While I did not go to the 2nd floor. My imagination runs wild thinking of possibilities for such a place. Family dinners, celebrations, company lunches. This is the kind of place I will frequent for my gringo cravings! I love hard shell tacos. But, I love it all so much. Thanks Team Armadillo! I feel the love in Carrboro NC. Right back at you!

Cool place to eat, good service and food. Parking in the back with outdoor and upstairs seating. The Texas Slaw is banging!

We were regular visitors of AG in Raleigh. We have missed it since that location closed. We drove almost an hour to the Carboro location. We were well pleased that the food was consistent with what we had come to expect. The service was nice too.

Great food and wonderful outdoor seating. And they have Cheerwine!

Amazing food, chicken was moist and cooked just right mixed great with the taco and cheese. Steak had a slight char to it that really enhanced the taco and gave a great crunch. Queso went very well with the chips.

The food is always good, but this time around it was too loud for my liking. I'm not upset with the patrons as it was the weekend and they deserve to enjoy a fun time, but with my tinitis,it was too much for me. Oh well. The chips and guacamole were worth it.

Delicious bean and cheese taco and chips and queso. Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere and self-service beverages. Great location.

Armadillo Grill is hands down my favorite spot for Affordable Mexican food. The food is always delicious and they have very addictive queso. The casual, laid-back vibe makes it perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, meeting friends, or craving late-night eats. The staff is always friendly and quick, and the prices are super reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I especially love how consistent everything is — every time I go, I know I’m going to leave happy and full.
