El Arepaz Carrollton Reviews
Great atmosphere and great customer service. I was in search of empanadas since my usual food truck, Taste of Cuba is closed today. I am happy with what I ordered - The Sopa de Res but I'm a little disappointed that the empanadas are only offered at lunchtime. So the hunt for the best empanada continues.
Great service and delicious food! Highly recommend!
My family loved this place. My kids commented that they wanted to be Venezuelans. We enjoyed the arepas and they loved the kids menu. The music is Latina, and the service very friendly. We will come back.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5 stars If I could give more than five stars, I would! 🌟 After trying many Venezuelan restaurants in Dallas that left me disappointed, El Arepazo completely blew me away. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic — from the perfectly cooked arepas to the delicious cachapas and the to-die-for tequeños. What really makes this place special, besides the incredible food, is the customer service. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home every single time. We recently moved to Tennessee, and let me tell you — we wish they’d open a location in Chattanooga. We’ve been craving their food nonstop and haven’t found anything that comes close. If you’re in Dallas and want an authentic Venezuelan dining experience, do yourself a favor and visit El Arepazo. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a taste of home and a place you’ll keep coming back to!
The BEST Venezuelan food around. Service is incredible, the owners are there day in and day out making sure the restaurant runs smoothly. I’ve been coming for about two years now and I just walked in to a whole new looking restaurant. Super beautiful inside. Highly recommend coming here. Get the arepa reina pepiada, but ask them to fry it. You won’t regret it
El Arepazo is hands down my favorite Venezuelan spot! Their hamburgers are some of the best I’ve ever had, the sopa and arepas are just as amazing. The place was recently remodeled and looks fantastic—great atmosphere, friendly service, and although the music can be a bit loud at times, the food is absolutely worth it. Next-level flavors that keep you coming back!
My girlfriend surprised me that she wanted to go here & I am very grateful that she chose this place. I extremely highly recommend it for true 💯% Venezuelan food. The prices were affordable, service was excellent, the positive aura entering the restaurant is what makes it feel very authentic. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious, & wonderful & they play great music as well. We will definitely be returning, keep up the superb & outstanding work.
Came here to try the arepas. They were good. I really liked the flavor of the meat. Will come back and try them another time. When I went every table was full and each table had something different. The restaurant is small and narrow but it was clean. Even the bathroom. The waitress was friendly. Food came out after 10 minutes (for an order of 4 arepas). The passion fruit juice was delicious as well.
Had the Patacon with chicken and steak, (pictured) and it was absolutely phenomenal. Well flavored, I wouldn't call it spicy. I've never been to Venezuela, but now I'm tempted. I really like this dish because every bite was unique, with a slightly different mix of ingredients. All the signs have facts about the country, so we got to learn while waiting for the food. (Took about ten minutes for takeout) I'll definitely be going back.
The place is clean, we had a good time, good sound, good animation, but the waitress who touched us had a bad face all night long. We had to call someone else to help us with the orders.
The real deal kinda place for true Venezuelan food. Small place, service just OK, but the food is really good and authentic. Empanadas are big but beware that sometimes they run out early on weekends. The Yuca Frita con nata is super crunchy and just delicious. They do have lunch specials fairly priced. I will definitely come back to try one of the cachapas.
Service:⭐️⭐️ Food: ⭐️⭐️ Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price: $ The good: The place is well located. The menu is varied, it has typical dishes like Cachapas, Arepas, and Pabellon. Parking is free and available on the front. The meat (pork, asado, carne mechada) had good seasoning. The not so good: the food was burned in the outside and not cook in the inside. Service wasn’t good, waitresses seem lost and didn’t seem very happy about the feedback. The place is on the small side so if you have a party is greater than 4 you might have issues seating.
Food was decent, service was nice and friendly. The cocktails were not good at all. We tried two different margaritas and a Cuba libre and I believe they forgot to put alcohol in all of them. Libe music was ok.
The service is TRASH! The food os ok. But would never return due to the service. McDonald's has better customer service than this joint.
Food is amazing, but service is terrible. We came twice and both times was extremely bad. Server attitude first night was horrible, and second time, server didn’t even put the order right… food came in different times, server forgot even the waters and drinks, at the end we ended cancelling the food we never got just to not wait more. It is sad because food is delicious but coming back will be a nightmare, everybody was waiting for something. We don’t even blame all in the server because she was obviously busy. Sitting people, serving the tables, cleaning the tables, bringing the food. Do not come if you don’t have time to be waiting for everything or if you are really starving.. maybe just order to go will be a better option
