It is the only Indian restaurant in Cartagena. We were craving for some Indian food. Food was not top of the line , but good. It is right on the main square. From top you can see all the festivities.

I've been in Cartagena many times but the last one I tried this place and it was such a great experience, ngl indian food is not my favorite but it totally blew my mind, everything was delicious thanks for the experience guys and the great service for sure i’m coming here next time

Food is not typical Indian spices, however the interpretation is very satisfying. We ordered vegetarian only. Large portions, well presented. Very good service. Fantastic location! Would recommend to anyone with a craving for Indian food in Cartagena. Or even if you haven’t tried Indian food previously!

The location, flavors, staff, service, vibe was just awesome. We went in with low expectations, and did not think we can find authentic Indian flavors all the way in Cartagena, it was a very pleasant surprise and we could not have been more wrong. Freshness of ingredients, quality of dishes, the flavor, to our taste buds it just felt like Home. The food was so delicious we end up ordering more than half of the dishes on the menu between 9 guys. Plenty of Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian options to choose from, every dish we ordered was TASTY!!!!!!!! The staff was very patient, pleasant and made us feel so comfortable. Amazing hospitality and ambiance, to top it off the views of market from the restaurant, the King Curry really won our heart ❤️, will recommend to anyone and everyone. The food and service by Javed were excellent. We ordered pakora, mutton curry, and chicken biryani. The quality of the food surpassed that of any other nearby restaurant. A must-try!

We came and ate here and had a lovely experience. The food is authentic and very very tasty! We had the Lamb Palak (our favourite) and the Paneer chicken tikka masala - both very full of flavour and the meat was very tender. The service is great, we had a young guy serving us who was very friendly! We also got a starter for free, which is very kind. You can sit on the balcony and look over the plaza, which is a very nice experience too! Please know, google maps location is wrong - the restaurant is on the plaza next to the Clock Bar (opposite the market stalls) - best Indian we have had in all of South America!!

I needed a change of scenery from my luxury prison apartment in Barranquilla, so I took a short trip to Cartagena. Guess what? There is a new Indian restaurant there now! My dinner buddy and I got there around 5:15PM on a Sunday evening, in the midst of the Cartagena Birthday Celebration stuff (centro and Getsemani were absolute chaos, but you already knew that). We sat inside because outside was just too noisy to enjoy anything. At first we were the only guests, but a few minutes later, another party of 4 arrived and sat on the balcony overlooking the plaza. The restaurant was playing Indian music on the TV/speakers, which I really appreciated! Some of the staff were standing around and yakking up a storm, which made the place louder than it needed to be, but hey... that's life sometimes. They were very nice and welcoming, especially the manager Sebastian. Our waiter Jairo was also very welcoming, and he is BILINGUAL! The menu is a bit limited, but that is to be expected in a situation like this... they are catering to a limited subset of people - expats and tourists, not the wider local population. I ordered the Lamb Curry (India hot) and Mango Lassi (with water not yogurt). My dinner partner had never had Indian food before, so I helped them pick the Chicken kebab (Mild/Moderate) and Mango Lassi (with yogurt). The waiter was so cool, we talked for a long while about several things including being bilingual, travel, the owner's plan to open another restaurant and bar, and then have a grand opening, etc. All the food came within less than 20 minutes. My large bowl of lamb curry came with a bowl of white rice. The food was DELICIOUS! It hit the spot for me, because I had been craving this for MANY MONTHS, and sometimes I do get tired of cooking at home. My dinner partner enjoyed the big ol' chicken kebab, though they had to remove the pepper rings because of flavor overload, hahahah! I ended up taking the rest of my food To Go. The bill came to about 135,000 COP (including a tip, which I gladly gave). Sounds expensive, but not only is it Cartagena (arguably the most expensive city in Colombia), we were smack dab in the tourist zone, AND the quantity of food made it basically 3 meals. I'd say it's worth a monthly visit! Honestly, if I had known that this restaurant existed, I would have visited Cartagena again MONTHS ago. As it stands, I plan to return probably every month, mainly for King Curry restaurant. Because Barranquilla has limited food options, and Barranquilla just SUCKS in general.

I lived in NYC all my life. I had food from all across the world. By far king curry is the best Indian food, i have eaten. Service was great the young girl waitress was very nice and on point.

As a visitor to Cartagena since 2017, I really couldn’t believe a city with so many international tourists and expats didn’t have an Indian/South Asian restaurant. And I’m so glad when one finally opened that it’s not mediocre - this place is amazing and tastes like home food. The chicken curry tastes very similar to my mom’s and the biryani has a nice home style to it. I really like that the chicken curry is not full of cream and butter. The biryani was also not too oily and full of juicy chicken with lots of fried onions and cilantro. I’ve only ordered on Rappi so far but can’t wait to go in person. Thanks chef for a great meal and keep up the amazing quality!

We had a fantastic Indian lunch with a great view! After almost three weeks in Colombia we were craving spice and this place didn’t disappoint. We had a chicken vindaloo, potato, and spinach, curry, Nan, and free, steamed rice. We would definitely recommend this place as a break from all of the other types of food you experience in Colombia!

Este restaurante es sencillamente espectacular, me encanta la cómoda India y es el único que da la talla en Cartagena.

Espectacularmente delicioso, ojalá hubiese tenido tiempo de ir más seguido y comer allá varias veces. Están cerrados unos días por remodelación pero esperan abrir la primera semana de marzo, pero todavía hacen domicilios. Nosotras llegamos sin saber que estaban en medio de remodelacion, pero aún así nos atendieron súper amablemente y nos dieron espacio para sentarnos mientras nos preparaban la comida para llevar. No solo la comida es rica, y ademas de precio accequible para Cartagena, sino que es un buen ambiente y extraordinaria atención.

The restaurant located in the city centre. All the food we ordered were super delicious. Specially i recommend the hummus and naan. I would say this is one of the best hummus i ever had. Our table was next to the balcony. We can see the outside view while having our dinner. Overall i highly recommend this restaurant to all people who love Indian Cuisine.

Bardzo miła obsługa. Lokal w świetnym miejscu z pięknym widokiem zwłaszcza wieczorem. Jedzenie coprawda nie jest oryginalnym indyjskim, nazwałbym to raczej Kolumbijską wariacją na temat kuchni indyjskiej ale smaczne i zrobili dla nas jedno danie z poza karty.

Food was great. Rich and flavorful. Service was almost funny in its absence. The atmosphere is weird, it's like half nightclub, half construction site, and part diner. They need some female staff to up service and atmosphere.

I got the food to go, so I can’t comment on the atmosphere, but the food was delicious and there were plenty of vegan options. It would be five stars if not for the price, it’s definitely on the more expensive side, so I only came here once during my stay as a treat.

We tried channa masala , veg curry , daal , roti , chapathi etc. Overall a very good experience and anyone looking for Indian food in Cartagena , you should try it .

Indian food is rare in Cartagena, so King Curry caught our eye. The samosas were the highlight—light, flavorful, and refreshingly different from the usual heavy versions. The beef curry, however, felt underwhelming. While spiced, it tasted more like a quick jarred mix than a slow-cooked dish. The naan also missed the mark, both in look and texture. Portions are generous and easy to share. If you’re craving a change of pace, it’s worth a visit—but don’t expect deeply authentic Indian flavors.

Well as a foreigner, we went there to find some Halal food but didn't get any, so we ate daal and roti. Food was expensice as compared to its quantity and quality. Well if u want to eat some desi u should go there but the prices are a bit high or atleast the resturant should keep up the good quality and quantity with Halal food option

Remodelaron el lugar y hicieron lo clásico : bajar más la calidad del producto . Yo como cordero, antes me servían poco pero era la carne Masisa ; ahora puro hueso como si uno fuera perro y sin sabor . No recomiendo este lugar para comer . We're always inclined to visit an Indian (South Asian) restaurant in any travels to see how its flavor stacks up with other places in the world. We ordered the lamb vindaloo, dal with spinach, naan, and chicken samosas. We did not receive the chicken samosas which ended up being fine. Naan was more dense than most naans we've had. Rice was not basmati and that surprised us. Even after asking for the lamb curry super hot, it was medium at best. It had a nice flavor. I am certain I could make the dal at home and was not complex meaning rhat it could have used more salt (not used in Indian cooking) to express it's flavor better. We sat on the veranda and the views were wonderful. We opted for many limonada naturals and were delighted by our drinks. If you want a great view, I'd opt for drinks. My pet peeve, menu online only but they did give us the wifi password.

Pas un vrai indien. Les naans sont faits en pâte à pizza. Nous avons commandé un chicken korma qui ne contenait ni de lait de coco, ni d’amandes, ni de coriandre … et c’était acide. Le poulet était ok.

I can never go back again. It was the worst food I ever tried. Onion pakora was too oily and it taste weird as well. Two subzi we order, was bad. Only thing which was edible enough was rice, dal, and roti. if someone pays me to go there and I will still not go.

Terrible, terrible, terrible food!! It's not proper Indian food. This place is for those who don't know how Indian food tastes like. Any Indian person visiting this place will get disappointed after having a meal here. They don't know how to make Indian food. Dal was floating in excessive oil and chapati was crisp like a papad, not in it's regular shape! Lamb curry was terrible. Chicken Pakoda was over burnt with cabbage in it, hardly tasted chicken. Mango lassi was terrible too. Staff was very friendly and sweet. Service provided by them was great. Kudos to them!

The ood quality was horrible. I am from San Francisco and we have good Indian restaurants. The food here was just sweet, flavor seems to be made for tourists. My entire group left most of the food and ate somewhere else. Even the naan was disappointing. Would never go back again.

I don’t usually make reviews but this place is falsely advertised as Indian food even though it’s nothing of the sort. I ordered a garlic naan and they gave me pita bread (pic attached). The paneer tikka masala I ordered had probably one of the worst tasting curries I’ve ever tried. The paneer tasted like rubber. FAR from ratings they have received on Google reviews.
